Meanwhile, with eyes firmly fixed on November 2020, Time magazine has revealed ‘a well funded cabal of powerful people, ranging across industries and ideologies’, worked together behind the scenes to ‘influence perceptions’, to change state election rules and laws and to control mainstream and social media coverage. It worked, upsetting 150 years of election lore. Conspirators maintain they didn’t rig the 2020 election, they just ‘fortified’ the process.

As we draw closer to the anniversary of the World Health Organization declaring the COVID-19 outbreak a pandemic, many are hopeful that the vaccine roll-out will help us return to our pre-pandemic “normal”. For a certain privileged group of people, this would mean getting back the “freedom” to travel anywhere they want.

United States Special Presidential Envoy on Climate John Kerry and United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres are to “celebrate” the US’s return to the Paris Agreement, the US state department has announced.
The event on Friday will mark Washington’s official return to the 2015 accord, from which former President Donald Trump withdrew on his first day in office in January 2017.
