 Hamas spokesturd Osama Hamdan on Monday refused to deny comments he appeared to recently make on a Palestinian network, in which he said that “Jews used to slaughter Christians in order to mix their blood with their holy matzos.”

Hamas spokesman Osama Hamdan is a frequent presence on CNN. He’s also appeared on Al Jazeera, the BBC, and in the Guardian‘s opinion pages. Last month he turned up on the ABC, providing his usual western-friendly spin on Hamas’s deadly idiocy.

But Hamdam is less constrained when speaking to an Arabic audience:

“The Israelis concentrate on killing children,” Osama Hamdan, a top Hamas representative in Lebanon, said on Al-Quds TV. “I believe that this is engraved in the historical Zionist and Jewish mentality, which has become addicted to the killing of women and children.”

“We all remember how the Jews used to slaughter Christians in order to mix their blood in their holy matzos,” he continued, referring to the traditional unleavened bread that Jews eat during Passover.

This maniac is a primary source for claims about death and injury tolls in Gaza. Take them with a grain of salt. Or blood, if you prefer.

Whatever they call themselves, doesn’t matter one iota. They are all Muslims and their Modus Operandi is Islam….

Did you see the photograph of the Middle Eastern boy blown apart in an explosion?

I did, unfortunately. Someone insisted on posting it in my Twitter timeline. For my education, presumably.

The boy – no older than five – was on a hospital bed. It must have happened very recently because there was still colour in his face. His eyes were closed and his expression – he can’t have seen it coming, thank God – was serene. You might almost have imagined him asleep, if it weren’t for the fact that his body was in bits: head and severed torso; an arm; legs and lower body; entrails.

Whoever did this, I thought, is really, really sick.

On the other hand, why not give them what they want?

My dear friend Ken from the fabulous Tundra Tabloids broke this story, which is going viral:

‘Rocket Girl’ is conflicted and biased, so she’s useless as a journalist

This is the Arab journalist working for the Finnish Newspaper,Helsingin Sanomat, Aishi Zidan, who admitted in a recent broadcast that rockets were being fired from the grounds at Shifa hospital in Gaza City into Israel, then lamented that her words (first reported by the Tundra Tabloids) were being factually quoted by the pro-Israel blogosphere for ‘propaganda purposes‘.

She has now revealed in a FB post that she has in fact fled in fear from these very same rockets, to bomb shelters while in Israel, as well as telling of her cousin being arrested by the IDF.

BITTER FINNISH JOURNALIST ‘ROCKET GIRL’ WHO ADMITTED ROCKET FIRE FROM SHIFA HOSPITAL, ADMITS FLEEING IN FEAR TO SHELTERS FROM THEM WHILE IN S.ISRAEL…

Four Corners, Monday 4th August 2014

 They’re known as ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) and they are sweeping across Iraq with frightening speed. They brutalise anyone they perceive as an enemy and then show the results in graphic detail, through a co-ordinated campaign on social media.

Their goal is clear. To create an Islamic state ruled by fundamentalist law.

The official Iraqi Army fled in fear and the advance of ISIS has been slowed by Kurdish forces and equally brutal Shia militia. The result – a divided nation.

This week on Four Corners, BBC reporter Paul Wood goes into the front lines of this shocking conflict to investigate how and why ISIS or Islamic State, as they now call themselves, are ripping Iraq apart. He travels with Kurdish forces as they battle the invading Islamic fighters, going house to house in the town of Jalawla. He hears what it was like to live under ISIS rule as they swept through Syria and he assesses the capacity of Iraq’s Shia forces to halt the advance of the radical fundamentalists.

Wood also manages to speak with members of the terror group and tries to understand why young men from other parts of the world are prepared to go to Iraq, ready to fight and die for their beliefs. Will these foreign recruits bring the terror back to their home countries?

Their response is chilling.

“If you don’t leave our Muslim brothers around the globe and mind your own business… you can expect these attacks and so can America and so can any other country.”

The program also features interviews with two highly regarded analysts who have been tracking the source of foreign recruits and trying to understand the process that leads so many young foreigners, including Australians, to fight in Syria and Iraq.

The answers are vital for the West. Should it confront the caliphate or let it grow? There are risks either way and real dangers that go way beyond the Middle East.

But the Founding Fathers would find the comments even more baffling.  Far from incorporating Islam into America’s early tapestry, their own writings reveal the Founding Fathers were at war with the creed and its adherents.

Last Sunday, in his message congratulating Muslims on Eid al-Fitr, the holiday marking the end of the fasting month of Ramadan, Barack Obama wrote: “Eid also reminds us of the many achievements and contributions of Muslim Americans to building the very fabric of our nation and strengthening the core of our democracy.” That’s right: he said “achievements and contributions.” I could only think of five.
