IAF destroys homes of all Hamas commanders, kills senior members

Israel can bomb a house but it is the secondary explosions that level the block.

(JPost) In recent air strikes on Gaza, all of the homes of Hamas brigade commanders have been destroyed, Israel Radio reported early on Wednesday.

According to a report by the Palestinian news agency Ma’an, one of the homes targeted was that of senior Islamic Jihad terrorist Hafiz Mohammed Hamad. In the strike early on Tuesday, Hamad and five of his family members were reportedly killed. (eye on the world)

France targets Syria recruits with new law

France plans to ban citizens Muslims with French passports suspected of links to armed groups Islamic terrorists from leaving the country in a new bill aimed at strengthening “anti-terrorist” legislation.

This is exactly the wrong thing to do. Why not encourage them to go for it and leave? And while they’re at it, revoke their citizen rights and make sure they don’t return.  Why are western governments consistently wrong on these issues?

It is the hight of absurdity when the existing laws are not applied. No country in Europe needs more laws. This is no more than denial and smoke screens by incompetent bureaucrats.

About 600 French nationals are in Syria to fight with rebel groups to murder Christians, Shiites & Alavites or are planning to go there, according to the Interior Ministry.

Major Bernie Gaynor jnr has served three tours of duty in Iraq but he is going to be thrown out of the army this week, or next, or very soon. And he is not going quietly.

The Australian Army will terminate Major Bernie Gaynor’s commission tomorrow. It is not difficult to see why. Gaynor has accused the army’s higher leadership of cowardice.

He has made the claim publicly, repeatedly, and in various forms. He has predicted the moral cowardice of the army’s leadership would inevitably lead to a complete waste of the service and sacrifices made by thousands of Australian military personnel in Afghanistan and Iraq.

This has not gone down well. On June 30, the chief of the Defence Force, General David Hurley, AC, DSC, on his last day in the job, wrote to Gaynor detailing why he was no longer fit to serve in the Army Reserve.

Gaynor served three tours of duty in Iraq while serving in Army intelligence. In a column published on March 17, I quoted a speech he had given to a conference in Melbourne: “It is my unpleasant duty to inform you that the Australian Defence Force has a fundamentally broken approach to religion, an approach shaped partly by the triumph of bureaucratic administration over battlefield considerations but mostly by political correctness …

“The ADF has a fundamentally flawed understanding of Islam. Just look at Iraq. I was one of the last Australians to serve there. All the politicians and military hierarchy were saying the withdrawal of Western military force was based on success. And yet al-Qaeda today controls more of Iraq than it ever did while Western forces were in the country …”

That was four months ago. It is much worse now. What Gaynor has predicted has spread, deepened and metastasised into Afghanistan.

“While everyone is watching the spread of the Islamic state in Iraq and Syria, we’re not noticing that areas where British and American troops fought and died in Afghanistan are being taken by the Taliban even before NATO forces have left the country … Helmand Province is being overrun by the Taliban. It is next to Oruzgan Province, where the Australian military was deployed and 40 Australians died.”

During the past week, The Washington Post and news agencies have reported dozens have been killed in fighting in Helmand Province as the Taliban committed hundreds of fighters to attacking Afghan army posts.

“You have a responsibility not to leave complete chaos but that is what we have done by leaving things half-baked,” Gaynor said, describing the bloody schisms that have opened in Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan in the wake of the departure of US and NATO forces from the region.

Unfortunately for the Economist comical misunderstander of Islam who wrote this, the Koran cannot be interpreted, it has to be taken straight up, undiluted. And those who blather on about a “militant minority” of Muslims have no ideological  leg to stand on. When it comes to doctrine, the jihadists have the scriptures on their side. One would think that this is slowly sinking in, but its not. We are still far from it.

Who started the fighting? The UN lies, as usual

Here is the UN-OCHA-OPT backgrounder on the current situation:

On 7 July 2014, the Israeli army launched a large military operation in the Gaza Strip, codenamed “Protective Edge”, with the stated objective of stopping Palestinian rocket firing at southern Israel and destroying the military infrastructure of Hamas and other armed groups.

This development marked the collapse of the Egyptian-brokered ceasefireunderstanding reached between Israel and Hamas in November 2012, which has been gradually undermined since December 2013. The latest escalation round started on 11 June, when Israeli forces targeted and killed an alleged member of an armed group,along with a child accompanying him, and Palestinian factions responded by shooting rockets at southern Israel. Tensions further increased following the abduction of three Israeli youths in the southern West Bank, on 12 June, which the Israeli government attributed to Hamas.

So the UN says that ISrael’s current operation is what marked the collapse of the ceasefire, not the incessant rocket firing that occurred beforehand.

But look how the UN frames the very beginning - that it started with an Israeli airstrike on June 11, and that rocket fire was a “response” to an Israeli airstrike. What happened before that? More on: The UN lies, as usual from the Elder

Writing in Brisbane’s Courier Mail, Paul Syvret argues that “Islam does not have a monopoly on hard-line malcontents and all religions and societies tend to breed their own brands of extremist ratbaggery.”

It is almost as if he is implying that Israel is waging a religious war to spread Judaism. That is patently absurd.

All things are not equal. A jihadist who joins the army of Islam to wage jihad to make the world  Islamic is no way equal to a Jew who goes to Israel to support the IDF. People who imply this are too stupid to argue with. Australian Jews are not Jihadists
