In once great Britain a bunch of headbangers succeeded in turning public schools into madrases, forcing muslim and non-muslim children to  abide by Mohammedan mores. Just imagine for one moment if Christians would try a stunt like this in Pakistan or Banglatrash; or in any of the 56 Islamic hell-holes around the world. Hundreds, if not thousands would be murdered, embassies and churches would burn all over the place, and we would never hear the end of it. Not so when the soldiers of allah do it to us. In that case, its a “witch hunt”.

Meriam Ibrahim—the toddler’s mother and fellow prisoner–was sentenced to be executed last week by a Sudanese court. Her capital offense was refusing to renounce her Christian faith.

Daniel Wani, Meriam Ibrahim’s husband, is reportedly a naturalized U.S. citizen who has been seeking help from the U.S. State Department for himself, his son, his wife, and the unborn child, who Meriam Ibrahim is now carrying in the eighth month of pregnancy.

Meriam, 27, was born in Sudan to a Muslim father and Ethiopian Orthodox mother… Her father reportedly left the family when she was six and her mother raised her as a Christian. She and Daniel Wani married in the Christian faith in 2012 …

In February, she and the boy were imprisoned. At the time, she was five months pregnant. The boy is in prison with his mother, according to the Morning Star News, because Sudan will not allow his father to take care of him because his father is a Christian.

In March, a Sudanese court charged the mother with apostasy for professing Christianity after having been born of a Muslim father. The court also charged her with “adultery” for relations with her own husband because Sudan refuses to recognize the marriage of a Muslim woman to a Christian man.

Last week, after Meriam refused to renounce her Christian faith, the court sentenced her to be flogged for adultery and executed for apostasy.

They cannot make sense of the world, of their own reality, of how Islam affects those who join the Muslim Brotherhood, or Al-Qaeda, or a thousand other groups, or groupuscules, or also affects, too, to the Muslims who oppose those in the Muslim Brotherhood, and Al-Qaeda and those other groups and groupuscules. For those Muslims, as so many of the tapes from Egypt shown at www.memritv.org demonstrate, insist that the woes of Egypt, the existence of the Muslim Brotherhood, the fighting in Syria or Libya or Yemen, the backward nature of Arab societies in every respect, must surely be the result of conspiracies by non-Muslims, with Jews being the most obvious suspects but hardly the only ones.

Imad Gad’s keen awareness that these views, as uttered, are broadcast over the Internet on MEMRI TV, and then are seen by many all around the world, and his fury at this state of affairs, his belief that such diffusion constitutes a kind of conspiracy, is telling. In much the same way that Ground Zero mosque imam Feisal Abdul Rauf egregiously stated that acts of terror would likely be committed if the mosque’s construction was prevented, Davutoglu suggested that the Israeli capital must make decisions based on the interests of Islam or there would be consequences.Contrasting that stance with positions held by Saudi Arabia, for example are extremely hypocritical.Davutoglu made the comments at the United Nation’s Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of the Palestinian People. The Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) – a Saudi Prince named Iyad bin Amin Madani – was in attendance.

“It is necessary for all of us to support Palestinians and to protect this cultural heritage. No one can act to destroy Jerusalem’s Islamic identity,” DavutoÄŸlu said…

No one can take unilateral decisions and implement them there. Taking unilateral decisions means putting dynamite in peace in the Middle East. Jerusalem is our qibla [direction faced by Muslims during prayer]. As Robert Spencer points out, Jerusalem does not have any “Islamic identity” because there is no historical evidence that Muhammad was ever actually in Jerusalem and the al-Aqsa mosque Muslims say the Qur’an refers to wasn’t even built at the time the Qur’an was written.

It won’t be long before Glenn Greenwald and Noami Wolf jump on this. And just think of all the Veterans Today and RT pieces which “prove” that polio in Pakistan isn’t caused by the refusal of vaccines… but by drones. Then Rand Paul can filibuster the polio drones and demand to know whether drones are spreading polio in the US.

The possibilities are endless.

During a debate on the issue in the National Assembly, Jamiat-e-Ulema-Islami Fazl (JUI-F) lawmaker Maulana Jamaluddin blamed the US drone campaign for the presence of polio in the country. He called on the government to divert its attention and resources to investigate the link between polio and the unmanned aircraft that hover over the tribal belt of Pakistan.

“They [US] kill us through drones and also spread polio,” Jamaluddin said. He, however, himself did not give any substantial proof to back his claims.

Jamiat-e-Ulema-Islami Fazl (JUI-F) is the 5th largest party and part of a large Islamic bloc, the Assembly of Islamic Clergy, that is part of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League.

JUI-F is run by Fazal-ur-Rehman, a cleric and supporter of the Taliban. The Taliban are not big fans of the polio vaccine. Maulana Jamaluddin has urged negotiations with the Taliban.
