* The clear subtext here is that Christians will assimilate better than Muslims. Australia should extend its welcoming hand to people who have suffered religious persecution in Islamic countries. In particular, that means the Christians.

FORMER immigration minister Kevin Andrews instructed his department to lift the intake of Christian refugees from the Middle East in response to what he saw as a pro-Muslim bias created by corrupt local case officers.

 

The Weekend Australian says Mr Andrews was so concerned about the extent of corruption in Middle Eastern posts – despite the allegations being investigated and dismissed by his own department – that he wrote to then prime minister John Howard advocating a $200 million plan to replace local employees with Australian staff in 10 “sensitive” countries, including Jordan, Iran and Egypt. 

* Corruption and cronyism in Muhammedan countries is bad enough, but there are also plenty of  Islamic moles and infil-traitors in the Immigration department at home as well


Opposition immigration spokesman Chris Ellison said yesterday this remains Coalition policy. 

“We do not want discrimination or bias occurring … and that’s why I believe it is appropriate that our sensitive overseas posts, such as those in the Middle East, are staffed by Australians,” Senator Ellison said.

Islamic extremist paid STG 2,000 to be smuggled from Malta to the UK

A terror suspect who was once found with a map marked with the flightpath to Birmingham International Airport has defeated the UK Government’s bid to deport him to Libya.

The man, who can only be identified by the initials DD, has been described by a court as “real and direct threat to the national security of the UK”.

A second Libyan, known only as AS and described as a “committed Islamist extremist” also won his appeal against deportation.

Spain’s highest court absolved four men and upheld the acquittal of a fifth on Thursday in the convoluted legal proceedings relating to the 2004 Madrid commuter train bombings that killed 191 people in the deadliest attack by Islamic militants on European soil.

In a recent article prompted by his reading of Joshua London’s Victory in Tripoli, Andrew Bostom, who compiled The Legacy of Jihad, adduces from London’s text a number of telling descriptions of Islam and of Muslims by some of the most important figures in American history. Two of them were Thomas Jefferson and John Adams, in 1786 ambassadors (Jefferson in Paris, Adams in London) from the newly-established American Republic still under the Articles of Confederation (the Treaty of Paris had been signed in 1783, the Constitution was ratified only in 1787). They had a meeting with the representative of Tripolitania (present-day Libya) then in the Great Britain, Sidi Haji Rahmand Adja.

*  Defending the indefensible is not an easy task, especially when increasing numbers of  alarmed infidels are reading the Koran and the sunnah without ideological blinkers and can no longer be hoodwinked with  ‘Religion of Peace’ and ‘ jihad is inner struggle’ crack-pottery. One who has taken it upon himself to defend the faith is our regularly featured Islamo agit-prop Irfan Yusuf, always ready to smear and stab these pesky truth-tellers like Robert Spencer, Ayaan Ali Hirsi, Daniel Pipes, professor Israeli, Wafa Sultan and our good Sheik Yer’mami, if only he had a chance, if only he wasn’t  always a dollar short and a day late!

Yusuf’s rants are usually nothing more than Tu Coque (you do it too) repetitive, hysterical cries  of “the Jooos, the Jooos, look at the Jooos…!” Yusuf displays a flawed, but typical Muhammedan non-understanding of Christianity and Judaism, mixed with misguided, miserable attempts at moral, ideological and religious equivalence. Unfortunately for Irfan,  more often than not his mental acrobatics, the inability to reason logically, the brazen lies and the indigestible brew of distorted reality turn into comedy. Who said Islamaniacs are devoid of humor? Yusuf seldom fails to crack me up:

* Just guessing, Yusuf: does she look like this?

Tanya Louise Smith, a young Australian woman who converted to Islam and eventually went to Yemen. She met up with some other Australians and started studying a more fringe form of Islam, which sometimes going by the name “salafi” or “wahhabi”.

* ‘Fringe form of Islam, Yusuf? Gee, last time I checked I was told there was only ONE Islam, as per Koran and sunnah. And it appears the ‘fringe form, the wahabi’ Islam is all the rage among the soldiers of the ummah, because they already control 80% of all the mosques in  Western countries…you call that ‘fringe?’

She married a Palestinian man, fell pregnant and went to Gaza to live with her in-laws. Her husband, who hoped to join her, was stuck outside thanks to the Israeli blockade and Egypt closing the border. You can read her story in The Australian here.

How did she and her Australian classmates end up pursuing studies in a more fringe form of Islam and in an apparently more radical institution?

No doubt some will say that it’s logical that a person adopting Islam will become a danger to themselves and society. Since 9/11, it has become fashionable in some circles to equate the 14 centuries of evolving religious tradition known as Islam with just about all the ills of the world.

* ‘Some will say’ – sez Yusuf. Indeed. I do say: Islam is a danger to believers and unbelievers. Now does that make me fashionable? And ‘evolving religious tradition’ -, that’s a mouth full! Please tell us more how this ‘religious tradition evolved!’ We’re dying to know!

Where did the “immoderate” ones come from? And what, again, constitutes moderation?

* A highly suspect development. I suspect not many of them will return to Morocco. I also suspect that there are few ‘moderates’ among them…

* Muslim “prayer leaders” are instructors in Islamic warfare, and they are more likely to add fuel to the fire against Europe’s infidel inhabitants.

RABAT, Morocco – Morocco plans to send scores of moderate Muslim preachers to Europe during the holy month of Ramadan to help fight extremism in the Moroccan community abroad, the ministry for religious affairs said Thursday.

The government will send 167 men and nine women preachers to address Moroccan immigrants during Ramadan, which runs during September this year. Muslims traditionally fast and attend sermons at mosques during the holy month.

Or perhaps I should say — a local leader of the “extremist,” “bigoted” and “xenophobic” Swiss People’s Party. That’s how this largest political party in tiny Switzerland is routinely discussed, or, rather, dismissed by elites, glitterati and other social deadweights.

Why? Because the Swiss People’s Party is, with noticeable success, fighting to bring massive immigration, including Islamic immigration, under control in Switzerland before this rigidly neutral, quite independent, non-European Union country loses its uniquely Swiss character. (Hardly unimaginable given that 21.1 percent of Swiss residents are foreign.) This makes men like Freysinger a dire threat to the multicultural world order. Hence the very nasty, but meaningless names.

More Muslims not fitting in; more Europeans not taking it. Nor can this be credited to “Islamophobia” since the mosque in question has already been accused of terrorist ties, including with al-Qaeda. “Evicted Milan Muslims pray at stadium ‘mosque,’” from Earth Times, July 18:

Milan, Italy – Italian police were out in force Friday at a Milan stadium converted into a makeshift mosque by Muslims who were forced to abandon their previous place of worship, a downtown garage which has been linked to Islamist terrorism. 

Organizers of the Friday prayers, said they expected some 5,000 Muslims at the Vigorelli velodrome which also contains a disused cycling track.

The decision by Milan’s town hall to allow Muslims to use the facility on a temporary basis has triggered protests from local residents, raising concern of possible attempts to disrupt the prayer session.

On Friday, around a several dozen protesters, including far-right political leader, Daniela Santanche, gathered near the stadium.

“We are here to prevent a symbol of Milanese sport from being transformed into a mosque,” Santanche, who leads the opposition party, The Right, said.

LONDON (AFP) — Yusuf Islam, the singer-songwriter formerly known as Cat Stevens, on Friday accepted substantial libel damages and an apology for articles that claimed he was sexist and bigoted, lawyers said.

*  A Muslim who is “sexist” and “bigoted”–perish the thought!

Adam Tudor, the singer’s solicitor told top libel judge, Mr Justice David Eady, the piece at the centre of the complaint was published by World Entertainment News Network’s and was later used on Contactmusic.com, a website published by Contactmusic.com Ltd which is said to have 2.2 million page views a month. Contactmusic also apologised today and will pay part of the damages.

Tudor said the item appeared on 26 March last year under the headline: “Yusuf Islam Ignors Bare-Headed Women” and was reproduced on a number of websites including that of Contactmusic.

“The article suggested that Mr Islam, who is a Muslim, was so sexist and bigoted that he refused at an awards ceremony to speak to or even acknowledge any women who were not wearing a veil,” said Tudor.

Dudley Mosque Update

You’re having a mosque whether you want one or not

People wrote letters complaining and the local council decided against it. But the politically correct Planning Inspectorate (possibly, but we don’t know, bowing to some political pressure) has decided that the good people of Dudley are to have a huge £18 million mosque, whether they want it or not.

And it’s to be on land that had been earmarked for employment purposes, too.

The BBC tells us that the West Midlands town’s Muslim population appealed against the council’s decision to turn down the huge building (pictured as an artist’s impression), and won.
