"All cultures welcome…. "

…except ours, which is -somehow-  not worth  having.

Michael Smith:

Labor has a proud history of opening our borders and encouraging people from all cultures to come here. Terri Butler, Labor Candidate, Griffith.

Terri Butler might be happy about Labor’s proud history of “opening our borders and encouraging people from all cultures to come here” but I can’t imagine too many electors for the Seat of Griffith will be.

Australia asylum seekers left in limbo

Under the new government, elected in September, ongoing applications by asylum seekers were frozen.

Who’s the real “cunt ?”

The Left: the natural home of the barbarian

The foul language, intolerance and spitting hatred of the modern Leftist exposes the sham behind such preachers of peace and reconciliation. The hate-orgy that follows Deveny’s post is astonishing – an insight into a cultural barbarism.  That Deveny has been so heavily nurtured by the ABC says much about the ABC’s decline.

"Our" ABC Australia Network: a Soapbox For the Likes of Waleed Aly?

What good does the ABC’s Australia Network do?

Why on earth are we wasting all this money on the ABC’s Australia Network? Greg Sheridan:
Screen-Shot-2013-05-31-at-11.30.40-AM1

The money for the Australia Network does not come from the ABC. It comes from [the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade]. At the moment, DFAT’s global public diplomacy budget is about $5 million…

Founded by the Keating government, the Australia Network in all its guises has been a colossal waste of money and a complete, absolute failure as public policy…

I have been annoyed on occasion at what I see as an anti-Australian tic in much of the news and documentary stuff on the Australia Network, but that is merely its inevitable reflection of the political culture of its parent organisation, the ABC….

So long as Australia Network exists I don’t want it to become an organ of Australian state propaganda. But nor do I want it to make life harder for the Australian government by taking the ABC editorial line on asylum-seekers, climate change etc, which is opposed to the policies of the Australian government. There’s a simple solution. It doesn’t need to exist at all…

In all of my countless trips to Asia I have never met an Asian who watches Australia Network. But half an eye is cast on it in a desultory fashion by Asian governments and some Asian news organisations. So while it has almost no capacity to do good, it has a substantial capacity to do harm.

I would just query this assertion of Greg’s:

But in reality there is absolutely no reason to have it at all. Our highly competent but resource-starved professional diplomats could do much more, much better targeted, with a proper public diplomacy budget.

I wouldn’t be so sure, given some ways it’s spending that cash, for instance on Muslimapologist Waleed Aly:

Lex Bartlem, Australian Ambassador to Lebanon:

Today is the last day of a tour that has taken you through the United Arab Emirates, SaudiArabia, Turkey and now to Beirut in Lebanon. We are delighted that you came. In most of those countries I know that you have met with academics, clerics, students, members of parliament, government officials and ministers. You came to speak to them about Islam in Australia—about its diversity, and about the community’s successes and problems.

Aly:

Firstly, let me say it has been a fantastic trip and a great opportunity, and I have to thank you for even thinking of inviting me…. What [people met on the trip] were trying to figure out, it seemed to me, was the relationship that Islam in Australia, or Muslims in Australia, or really anyone in Australia, has with the state…

Bartlem:

I know that we are hoping to get you back to the region in January to visit Egypt, Jordan and the Palestinian Territories.

The video DFAT posted of this interview had 30 views when I first linked to it this morning.

How about an ABC that no longer crusades on boat people, homo-marriage and global warming, but on free speech, climate scepticism and free markets?

Once again: deep six the ABC!

Bias makes the Australian Bloated Corporation even more dangerous

Andrew Bolt

THE ABC’s bias wouldn’t be so serious if the ABC wasn’t this dangerously big – bigger than is legal for any other media organisation.

Attention Tony Jones, Fran Kelly, Paul Barry, Virginia Trioli, Phillip Adams, Robyn Williams and the ABC’s other Leftist hosts.

Imagine if every single one of the main ABC current affairs shows were hosted not by the likes of you, as they now are.

Imagine them all hosted instead by me and fellow conservatives Janet Albrechtsen, Gerard Henderson, Tim Blair, Miranda Devine, Piers Akerman, Tom Switzer and Rowan Dean.

Imagine Four Corners no longer hosted by a former staffer of Gough Whitlam but of John Howard. Insiders no more hosted by a former staffer of Bob Hawke but of Tony Abbott.

Imagine the result: an ABC that no longer crusaded on boat people, same-sex marriage and global warming, but on free speech, climate scepticism and free markets.

Get it now?

Richard Falk gushes over the Ayatollah Khomeini: a rare encounter with a true revolutionary

Falk is a demented creature. He should be locked up in a closed institution. This latest article of his should remove any doubt that he’s insane. (Al Jizz)

A day before his triumphal return to Iran, Khomeini spoke of his hopes for the revolution.

20142363511875734_20

Exactly 35 years ago, I had the experience of a lengthy meeting with Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini in his tent where he received visitors in the Paris suburb of Neuphle-le-Chateau. It was on the day preceding his triumphal return to Iran after almost 14 years of exile, mostly spent in Najaf, Iraq. I was returning to the United States after spending two weeks in Iran during the turbulent final stage of the revolution that was on the verge of victory. My presence in Iran was in response to an invitation from Mehdi Barzargon, soon to become interim president of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Love to blow shiite up? Recruiting Now!

Lebanon

The article in Al-Akhbar is about fear growing among the Shi’a in Dahiyeh, where Sunnnis, the kind who not only dislike or hate Shi’a but are willing to kill them, have been setting off car bombs, and is, therefore, a brave attempt to distance Shi’a from that Uber-Islamic business about  “we love death as you love life” stuff. In claiming that fear is both natural and healthy, the writer is, possibly not consciously, distancing himself from the teachings of Muhammad, the atmospherics of Islam. That’s good. Too bad he can’t quite state it openly — but no Muslim can, so they have to tiptoe around everything having to do with Islam, even if they have begun to realize what a horror — for Muslims now on the receiving end of what other Muslims, inspired by Islam, are dishing out — it has turned out to be, and no longer just for Infidels.. (Hugh Fitzgerald)

Necessity of Loving The Prophet (pbuh)

The latest bombing, here.

Any Pakistani who has been allowed to live in the Western world — in Great Britain, or Canada, or the United States, or Australia — should mentally be down on his knees, every day, thanking the Infidels for letting him in, and being forever grateful and determined to show his gratitude. At the very least. (Hugh)

Saudi Wahhabi cleric calls Shia Muslims as non-Muslims and requests to pay tribute (Jizya )

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) – Ali Alrabieei a Saudi Wahhabi cleric calls Shia Muslims as non-Muslims and calls on Islamic governments to collect jizya from them.

Under Islamic law, jizya or jizyah is a per capita tax levied on a section of an Islamic state’s non-Muslim citizens who meet certain criteria. The tax is and was to be levied on able-bodied adult males of military age and affording power. (More/thanks to Mullah.pbuh)

Myanmar’s Buddhist-Rohingya ethnic religious divide

Rohingya02ePoverty, illiteracy, overbreeding and criminal aggression continue to make Islam the most abhorrent and dangerous belief system in the world.

Displaced Rohingya Muslims struggle with persecution and Buddhist resentment.

Muselmaniacs always suffer when they don’t hold the reigns of power. The Buddhists are right. They should not allow any more  Islam to spread in Burma.

/al Jizz

Sittwe, Myanmar – A checkpoint guarded by three bored-looking policemen in the middle of a narrow road separates two very different worlds.

On one side in Sittwe, capital of Myanmar’s western state of Rakhine, people lead a common life: They’re free to go wherever they please, marry whomever they want, and to attend religious ceremonies in their Buddhist temple of choice.

Related:

Behind barbed wire on the other side, nearly 150,000 people are crowded into a dozen or so camps for internally displaced people. They are the Rohingya, a Muslim ethnic group not recognised among the 134 official ethnicities of the country, and considered by the United Nations as one of the most persecuted minorities in the world.

They can’t leave the camps, they can’t marry without permission, most are unemployed and have no source of income, and they rely on the rations given by the World Food Programme to survive. A law passed in 1982 denies them citizenship and makes them stateless because they are considered immigrants from neighbouring Bangladesh, who came along with British imperial troops in the 1800s.

“It’s just plain apartheid and genocide,” Aung Win, a prominent Rohingya leader in the camps, told Al Jazeera.

This kind of hyperbole l is identical to what Arab Muslims are accusing Israel of. In reality it is projection; it is Muslims accusing Buddhists of doing to them what they would do tho to them if only they had the upper hand.  No one should  blame the Buddhists for not wanting to be forcibly converted to Islam; and  accusations of genocide are patently absurd in the face of Muslim aggression and overbreeding. Since 1948, the Arab Muslim “refugees”  in the camps have multiplied by a factor of seven;  the so-called Rohingya are doing the same, since it is the will of allah to outbreed the infidels. Curiously, Bangladesh, the place where they originated, won’t have them either.

Kerry wants to see (more) Jewish blood

“Last year, not one Israeli was killed by a Palestinian from the West Bank,” lies Kerry…

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry told guests at a Munich conference on Saturday, according to a U.S. State Department transcript. His comments, however, came just days after Israel’s Shin Bet security service detailed the Israeli deaths from terror attacks originating in the territory in 2013.

Here’s the body count.

Jordan doesn’t want the peace of Kerry

Jordan’s government officials and ordinary citizens have come out against U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry’s proposals for reaching a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians.

The Jordanians fear that such an agreement would be concluded at their expense and undermine King Abdullah’s rule.–Continue Reading

Here’s an open letter from Paula R. Stern to John Kerry:

OPEN LETTER TO JOHN KERRY

Dear Secretary of State John Kerry:

Because of my respect for the United States, I will attempt to afford you the honor you think you so richly deserve. It’s hard to speak to you with anything but anger, hard to feel the need, again, to start from the beginning because you clearly choose to ignore history in your quest for glory. It is a quest destined to fail but its outcome, even, or more accurately especially, in failure, will hurt Israel.

Greater men than you have tried to make, to force, peace on the Middle East. I promise you, you will fail too. You will fail because you are not addressing the root cause of the problem. You, like so many before you, take the easy way out. Blame Israel. It is so easy to do, and so stupid. Continue reading Kerry wants to see (more) Jewish blood

Obama's Alinsky Strategy

In case you’re dense and you still can’t figure out where the Marxist Muslim is taking us, you better acquaint yourself with the strategy that Obamabots follow. In the Alinsky model, which the “community organiser” Obama follows to the letter,  “organizing” is a euphemism for “revolution”.

AlinskyObama

Even before Obama used his State of the Union address to proclaim that he would bypass Congress “wherever and whenever” he can, it was clear that he plans to move the USA toward socialism by dictatorial means. …  Read the rest at Absolute Rights:

What Obama Wants and How He Plans to Get It

Who needs freedom when you got the Obamessiah already?

By Alan Caruba/RenewAmerica

Americans are rapidly moving toward having their Bill of Rights annulled by a President intent on ruling as a despot, making them slaves of a regime that rules as he wishes, ignoring the Constitution and Congress.

His actions have been supported by the Democratic members of Congress and because Republicans only control the House they have seen their legislative efforts to oppose the regime blocked, often by one man, Harry Reid, the Senate Majority Leader. The nation’s media with few exceptions have supported or ignored the President’s actions.

Why is this happening? A brief review of the means put forth in Saul Alinski’s “Rules for Radicals,” written by a “community organizer,” outlines what Obama is doing as he seeks to turn America into a socialist state. It is a process that progressives/liberals have been pursuing since early in the last century.

1) Healthcare – Control healthcare and you control the people.

2) Poverty – Increase the poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live.

3) Debt – Increase the debt to an unsustainable level. That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.

4) Gun Control – Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government. That way you are able to create a police state.

5) Welfare – Take control of every aspect of their lives (Food, Housing, and Income).

6) Education – Take control of what people read and listen to – take control of what children learn in school.

7) Religion – Remove the belief in God from the Government and schools.

8) Class Warfare – Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor. This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to take (tax) the wealthy with the support of the poor.

FGM: "Progress" in Egypt

Jessica Gray, a scribbler for PuffHo’s Women’s eNews,  tries to tell us that there are some kind of efforts in Egypt to stop genital mutilation….

Anti-Female Genital Mutilation Campaigners Make Progress in Egypt

n-WOMEN-EGYPT-MARKET-large570

You gotta wear PuffHo shades to make such a claim, because there is no progress, and there can’t be because of Islam. 95% of Egyptian women are sexual cripples due to genital mutilation. Clueless Jessica  writes a whole lot of rubbish before she concludes:

“The forces that drive FGM are deeply rooted in society, which is why it takes so long to make a dent in the practice. I would argue that FGM is one of the few subjects related to women’s sexuality that is not taboo in Egypt,” she said. “For many women in Egypt, circumcision is a point of pride, not a shame to conceal.”

There you go. Mutilation becomes “circumcision”, and then it becomes “a point of pride, not a shame to conceal”.

Am I the only one who is ashamed of such western dimbulbs who have no sense of right and wrong?

Read the whole thing below the fold!
