In a recent visit to Jerusalem, where I visited and prayed at Al-Aqsa, it occurred to me that perhaps we, the Arabs and Muslims, are the ones causing harm to Al-Aqsa, and not, as we claim, the Jews.

“You see these scaffoldings? They [the officials] put them up to claim maintenance work is being done in order to beg donors for money. These scaffoldings have been here for years with nothing done….The sheikh here just takes photos of them to show to donors. Look at the donation boxes here; they collect an average of one million shekels ($284,000) per month. The Al-Aqsa Mosque, the third holiest site in Islam, was built on the Temple Mount — which is the holiest site in Judaism, where the Temple that was destroyed nearly 2000 years ago stood.

(Even this fair minded Arab Muslim, Mudar Zahran, doesn’t dare to doubt the myth that Jerusalem or the atrocious mosque on the Temple Mount has any significance for Muslims.Neither has. J’lem is never mentioned in the Koran and Muhammad never visited the place during his lifetime. Like most koranic fables, they are just that: absurd claims.)

The Al-Aqsa Mosque has been one of the items at the center of the Arab-Israeli conflict. Almost every known Arab political organization has vowed “to liberate Al-Aqsa from the Jews.” In a recent visit to Jerusalem, where I visited and prayed at Al-Aqsa, it occurred to me that perhaps we, the Arabs and Muslims, are the ones causing harm to Al-Aqsa, and not, as we claim, the Jews.

AFGHAN asylum seeker Mohammad Salem Nazari accused of assaulting girls at a pool claimed the incidents were accidents because he couldn’t swim.   Nazari’s bridging visa has already been revoked and if he is given bail at a later date he will be placed in a detention centre.

Police said he showed no remorse and appeared “extremely nonchalant” about the seriousness of the allegations. They also said the girls were traumatised by the alleged assaults.  Nazari is accused of grabbing the girls around the waist, touching their thighs, bottoms and breasts.

Mandela’s funeral service: a celebration for dictators

Nelson Mandela’s memorial service yesterday was a disgrace – a showcase of tyrants to honor a man who preached freedom.

I’ve already written that Mandela’s noble record as a reconciler is being used by the Left to sanctify his darker deeds – his use of terrorism and his embrace as president of corrupt dictators and men of violence, including Libya’s Gaddafi, Cuba’s Castro, the PLO’s Arafat, Nigeria’s Abacha and Indonesia’s Suharto.

Yesterday’s memorial service went even further – explicitly honoring dictators and former terrorists.

The common thread that binds the entire document together is the OIC’s repeated insistence that the main culprit responsible for “the institutionalization of Islamophobia” in Western countries is freedom of speech.

The Organization of Islamic Cooperation, an influential bloc of 57 Muslim countries, has released the latest edition of its annual “Islamophobia” report.

The “Sixth OIC Observatory Report on Islamophobia: October 2012-September 2013” is a 94-page document purporting to “offer a comprehensive picture of Islamophobia, as it exists mainly in contemporary Western societies.”

But the primary objective of the OIC—headquartered in Saudi Arabia and funded by dozens of Muslim countries that systematically persecute Christians and Jews—has long been to pressure Western countries into passing laws that would ban “negative stereotyping of Islam.”

In this context, the OIC’s annual Islamophobia report—an integral part of a sustained effort to prove the existence of a “culture of intolerance of Islam and Muslims” in the West—is in essence a lobbying tool to pressure Western governments to outlaw all forms of “Islamophobia,” a nebulous concept invented by the Muslim Brotherhood in the 1990s.

Rev. Peter Hammond, founder of Frontline Fellowship and Africa Christian Nation, has worked for nearly 30 years helping persecuted Christians in Africa. As a result of Hammond’s visit with Mandela – in which the missionary laid hands on the president and prayed for him to see abortion for what it really is, the merciless slaughter of innocent human life – Hammond was subjected to a 13-year audit of his organization.

“I’m astounded that so many in the West idolize Mandela and lift him up as a messianic figure because they obviously don’t know what he teaches, what he believes or what he does – or his support for some of the most radical Marxist dictatorships on the planet with some of the worst human-rights records, such as the governments of Red China and Cuba,” Hammond declared. “He has supported these dictators wholeheartedly and received them with the greatest honors.”

Hammond said there are many Christians who idolize Mandela because they’ve been given false information about who the man really was.
