It can become quite tiresome to refute the same falsehoods repeatedly. On behalf of the Obama Administration, in September 2014 the US Secretary of State John Kerry made a plea to wipe out poverty and improve health and education as the most powerful antidote to the “toxic” beliefs of Islamic extremists.

The Marxist-inspired argument that Islamic terrorism is caused by poverty is plain wrong and has been disproven many times. Several studies indicate that Islamic terrorist have above-average education and at least average income. Some come from very wealthy families. Osama bin Laden grew up in Saudi Arabia as a son of a billionaire. Saudi Arabia was never under European colonial rule. Instead, it is the cradle of one of the world’s most brutal imperialist traditions, the Arab cultural imperialism we call Islam.

Moreover, the suggestion that Islamic terrorism is a reaction to occupation is false. Even tiny Norway, a small country in the far northern reaches of Europe, has already been hit by several Islamic attacks.

In 1993, William Nygaard was shot three times outside his home in Oslo and miraculously survived. This case has never been solved. However, most people assume that the attack was triggered by the fact that he was the Norwegian publisher of Salman Rushdie’s novel The Satanic Verses, which many Muslims found insulting.

The assassination attempt on Nygaard was not caused by his occupation of anything. It was caused by the fact that he published a book that Muslims did not like. Criticizing or mocking Islam potentially carries the death penalty, according to traditional Islamic law. This goes for non-Muslims as well as for Muslims. Since Islam today has a nearly global reach, the Jihadist threat against freedom of speech has become nearly global in scope.

So much for protecting non-Muslims then. And people still try to tell me Islam is a religion of peace.

Uyghur Muslim radicals located in China’s northwest region of Xinjiang have linked up with the Islamic State terror group, according to a Monday report in China’s state-run Global Timesnewspaper.

The report states that Uyghur Islamists have joined the Islamic State in order to wage jihad on behalf of the Sunni cause in Iraq and Syria.

Representatives of Muslim states participating in a session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva this week called into question Israel’s right to militarily defend itself against Palestinian terrorism.

The representative from Pakistan insisted that it was “morally abhorrent” and “legally incorrect” to label Israel’s actions in Gaza this summer as self-defense. The United Arab Emirates agreed, and asserted that as an occupying power, Israel had no right to use military force in self-defense.

In total, 30 nations used the session to bash Israel over Operation Protective Edge. Among them were Venezuela, Ireland, China and the aforementioned Pakistan and United Arab Emirates.

AN Islamic preacher at the prayer group being investigated for its role in radicalising teenage terrorist Numan Haider posted inflammatory comments about attacks the day after his death.

Police revealed yesterday they would investigate the al-Furqan Islamic Centre in Springvale…

The next day a preacher at al-Furqan retweeted; “You fear terror attacks back home? Your government should stop destroying other people’s homes then. It’s not rocket science now is it?”

These people are serious morons:

ONE day before Numan Haider was shot dead, as he tried to murder two counter-terrorism police officers, the al-Furqan Islamic Centre posted on its website three articles and videos in support of Islamic State.

In one, a commentator on a Middle-Eastern TV talk show praised the cold-blooded exec­ution of hundreds of captured Syrian soldiers saying they deserved to be executed “1000 times over”.

A dangerous moral relativism, likening the humiliationg of some prisoners at Abu Ghraib to the beheading of unarmed civilians and journalists:

Mustafa Abu Yusuf, a spokesman for the Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jama’ah Association of Australia (ASWJ), claimed the actions of Islamic State [also known as ISIL] were being “rammed down our throats” in a bid to paint fundamentalist Muslims as potential terrorists and curb civil freedoms…

Mr Abu Yusuf said he had not seen videos of the ISIL beheadings posted on social media – although he called the act abhorrent – but said the group’s actions was “no more horrific” than those of Western armies during war.

He questioned why the Abbott government did not react with equally fierce rhetoric when chemical warfare was used and human rights abuses were committed in the Syrian civil war.

“The beheadings, it’s an abhorrent act, don’t misunderstand me. But what about the British in Malaya in the 1950s? They used to have soldiers decapitate Malayan heads … or what about the torture and prisoner abuse by the Americans at Abu Ghraib prison?” he said.

It disturbs me that the media is treating this outfit’s “emir”, Sheikh Abu Ayyman, as a moderate. They should remember his defence of Osama bin Laden.

Oklahoma Department of Corrections records show the suspect has multiple religious tattoos, including one in Arabic that means “peace be with you.”

Britain’s Female Jihadists

 Mujahidah Bint Usama published pictures of herself on Twitter holding a severed head while wearing a white doctor’s jacket; alongside it, the message: “Dream job, a terrorist doc.”

British female jihadists are now in charge of guarding as many as 3,000 non-Muslim Iraqi women and girls held captive as sex slaves.

“The British women are some of the most zealous in imposing the IS laws in the region. I believe that’s why at least four of them have been chosen to join the women police force.” — British terrorism analyst Melanie Smith.

Great Britain is now the leading European source of female jihadists in Syria and Iraq.

As many as 60 Muslim women between the ages of 18 and 24 are believed to have left Britain to join the jihadist group Islamic State [IS] during the past twelve months alone, according to British terrorism analysts.

Dozens more have inquired about joining IS since the beheading of American journalist James Foley in Syria in August 2014 set off a frenzy of enthusiasm within jihadist circles.

Many of the women seem to be motivated by the hope of finding a jihadist husband, analysts say, apparently because they covet the cultural and religious “prestige” conferred upon Muslim widows whose husbands have died as “martyrs” for Allah.

Until recently, most of the British women affiliated with IS have been restricted to performing domestic chores such as cleaning and cooking. Lately, however, some women have become restive and have demanded a greater role in the IS enterprise.
