There seem to be two Dalai Lamas when it comes to Islam.
The first Dalai Lama, like that other expert on Islam Pope Francis, knows that authentic Islam is opposed to terrorism, that Islam is all about peace, and that any Muslim who engages in violence for that very reason can not be a “genuine Muslim.”
Here he is, for example, in a speech in Strasbourg in September 2016:
“‘Any person who wants to indulge in violence is no longer a genuine Buddhist or genuine Muslim,’ says Tibet’s exiled spiritual leader.
He argued that differentiating fundamentalism from Islam itself was a key way to stop violence and strengthen integration.
The Dalai Lama has said there is no such thing as a “Muslim terrorist” as anyone who partakes in violent activities is not a “genuine” Muslim.
Speaking at the European Parliament in Strasbourg in France at the end of last week, Tibet’s exiled spiritual leader suggested the phrase was a contradiction in terms and condemned those who commit violent acts in the name of religion.
The Dalai Lama asserted that all religions were united by the values of love, compassion, tolerance and more. He argued that with this common ground the world would be able to build peace.

If he had had a Kalashnikov in hand, there would have been more deaths than in Paris and Barcelona. Despite these clear statements, the Spanish authorities do not call it a terrorist act.”
Of course. To call it a terrorist act would be “Islamophobic.”

In Central African Republic, dozens of people are feared killed after suspected Islamist rebels attacked a group of civilians in the central town of Bria earlier this month.
Early reports suggested that between 12 to 14 people were killed during the attack on 4-5 September, but local sources contacted by World Watch Monitor said as many as 42 were killed, as details about the attacks are now emerging.
The massacre took place over two days, and it was a further two days until some youths were able to access the area to recover a dozen bodies.

A Muslim group calling itself Dawoodi Bohra Women for Religious Freedom posted a tweet last week justifying ‘khafz’ – or female circumcision – on young girls.
The tweet featured a video of group member Arwa Sohangpurwala saying: ‘My daughters have also undergone khafz, and they’re growing up as perfectly as other children of their age.As a mother, I can never do anything to harm them.’
British Police Arrest Nine People a Day for Posting Offensive Messages Online
England gave us Monty Python, the Sex Pistols. Shaun of the Dead. Simon Pegg. Which makes it sad to learn an average of NINE PEOPLE per day get arrested for posting “offensive messages” online. A DAY. “Offensive messages.” Online.
It is testament to how entrenched censorship has become in 21st-century Britain that a police force can so casually call for reports about speech.
This is a country whose communications laws and public-order legislation can be, and regularly are, used to punish hateful expression. Last year The Times reported that British police are arresting nine people a day for posting “offensive messages online.” In 2016, 3,300 people were detained and questioned for things they said online. In some parts of Britain the arrest rate for offensive speech has risen by nearly 900% in recent years. We Brits are sleepwalking into a police state.
Not content with punishing people for the offensive things they say on public online platforms, now there are moves afoot to punish them for what they say privately too. This week the Labour MP Lucy Powell put forward a Bill in parliament that would ban private online discussion forums because, she says, hate speech can fester in these “echo chambers.”
Leftists in America are salivating for this kind of dictatorial control. One reason the left is contorting itself into ethical pretzels over Brett Kavanaugh is because they hate the First Amendment, and want to chip away at it. The leftist judges Democrats want to appoint to the bench agree, and believe the freedom to say or write whatever you want is problematic. Free expression, the free exchange of ideas, undermines their plan for thought control.
Yes, thought control. Read the report above again. Tell me leftists aren’t actively engaged in censoring your thoughts. If you dare type something they find displeasing, the left labels it as “hate speech” and off to the pokey you go.
Our freedom of speech is precious. We must do whatever we can to maintain it, to learn from the oppression going on OPENLY in the United Kingdom, and prevent such tyranny from happening here.

Mohammed Abdul told nightclub staff he would “kill” them before he drove his car onto the dancefloor, hitting a number of people, after he was thrown out for being drunk and for making unwanted advances towards women, Maidstone Crown Court has heard.
Facing charges of attempted murder and grievous bodily harm, the court heard that Abdul, 21, had entered Blake’s nightclub on Queen Street, Gravesend, South East England, on March 17th but had been asked to leave by doormen at 11.41pm, before he allegedly made the threats of violence, Kent Online reports.
Bouncer Greg Perzanowski said in evidence that had asked Abdul, from Deptford, South East London, to leave on the Saturday night after he had received complaints from women that he was being rude and touching them and for being intoxicated, with Mr Perzanowski saying that he could tell the defendant was “under the influence”.

New Delhi, India – India’s government on Wednesday decided to make the practice of instant triple talaq (divorce) a punishable offence through an executive order after the draft law failed to pass in parliament in August.
Under the proposed law, Muslim men who end their marriage using instant divorce, or talaq-e-biddat, will now face a jail term of up to three years and a fine.
