Writing in the Palestinian Ma’an News Agency, Mustafa al-Lidawi claimed, “[Purim] is the same holiday that the people of Europe hated and detested [and because of it] wished that the Jews would leave their countries so they could be saved from their wickedness.”

THE ERA OF “THE OTHER”

If you’re straight and white and male, you really can’t win in the era of “the Other.” On the one hand, if you dare to point out any cultural difference, however minor, between yourself and a member of some other group, you can be accused of drawing pernicious, hateful distinctions between “us” and “them”; on the other hand, if you celebrate America as a “melting pot” – e pluribus unum – you can be accused of erasing “the Other,” of denying his or her right to maintain a distinctive identity. Even if you hold the lowliest job, you’ll be regarded as basking in white male privilege, while even some of the most powerful people in America will be seen as victims because they belong to traditionally “othered” groups.

A country which persecutes critics of Islam is a Sharia State today and an Islamic State tomorrow.

The problem is specific. Criticism of Islam is being muted in the U.K. whilst praise of Islam is magnified. In this way a free society dissolves into a Caliphate at the behest of quislings and cowards.

Although America was born of rebellion against the British Empire, the liberty we developed was inherited from Britain. The Founding Fathers were originally British subjects. Possibly the greatest influence on their point of view was English philosopher John Locke. Already authorities are attempting to keep a lid on the powder keg they created by curtailing fundamental liberties. It is certain that they will fail, although it is far from certain that Britain will survive as a free country in any meaningful sense.

Yes, we need positive stories. That will fix everything. Hungary Challenges United Nations Plan to Facilitate Global Mass Migration

Presenting a “security first” proposal to the United Nations (UN), Hungary has announced it is “ready to fight” the globalist body over plans to promote mass migration.

The country’s conservative government submitted the 12-point proposal in response to the “dangerous” so-called Global Compact for Migration, which was described by President Donald J. Trump as a “no borders plan” when he withdrew the U.S. from talks in December.

Announcing the proposal in Budapest, Foreign Secretary Peter Szijjártó warned: “If these 12 points, in which the Government summarises its position, are not included in the package, Hungary will not be in a position to support the adoption of the Compact.

“The goal of the proposal is to ensure that the security of the Hungarian people can continue to be guaranteed in future,” he said, declaring that “the Government and the governing parties are ready to fight this battle”.

Entitled “Security First”, Hungary’s document begins by challenging the key claim on which the UN package was built — that mass migration is both beneficial and unstoppable — noting events in recent years have shown the process has “caused serious security challenges in many regions of the world”.

He recently gave a talk in the Knesset in which he described the difference between what Westerners — including Israelis — mean by “peace”, and what Arabs mean. The difference between the way the two cultures understand the concept of peace has serious consequences for the West in the current clash of civilizations.

Below are excerpts from the article in Arutz Sheva about Dr. Kedar’s talk:

‘Those who seek peace are seen as losers’

Slamming the Knesset,, he said, “You really want to stop the incitement? Have you ever closed a TV or radio station run by the Palestinian Authority (PA)? You always blame the Supreme Court, it’s time that you, the members of the Knesset, start functioning.”

“We are the ones responsible for the fact that Jibril Rajoub (a PA leader and terrorist — ed.) still walks free. PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas gives money for terror — how come he is still the PA chairman?

“We are the ones guilty, not them. They do whatever we allow them to do.”

Dr. Kedar then explained what “peace” means to Israel’s neighbors…

He said companies have to be “chivvied and cajoled to take action”.

This letter shames Britain.

It’s illiterate (“Your boyfriend have in his possession” and “insight” where it means “incite”), it’s at once pompously officious and sloppily amateurish, and it’s written by someone who clearly has no grasp of basic details like when and when not to use capital letters (“London Hyde park” and “the Leaflets”).

Yet on this barely educated jobsworth’s say-so, author and activist Brittany Pettibone has – with her boyfriend, Austrian Identarian Martin Sellner, and, subsequently, Canadian citizen journalist Lauren Southern – been declared persona non grata in the U.K.

Clearly, this jobsworth was only obeying the orders of someone well above his pay grade. Presumably, responsibility for this decision goes right to the top – at least as far as Home Secretary Amber Rudd.

If so, Amber Rudd has some serious questions to answer.

The obvious one concerns double-standards:

Yes. Good question.

Current U.K. immigration policy appears to work like this:

It’s apparently okay to let an estimated 425 ISIS terrorists back into the country after their jaunts to the killing zones of Iraq and Syria.

But it’s apparently not okay to let in three campaigners whose only crime is to speak out on behalf of the silent majority, which has had just about enough of all this cultural enrichment and who would like their governments to do more to protect them from it:

And isn’t there something deeply sinister about that phrase claiming that Pettibone, Southern, and Co. “bear a serious threat to the fundamental interests of society”?
