After being accused of “ignoring” the Telford grooming gang scandal, the BBC has now run a headline on the recent revelations, claiming “victim numbers sensationalised”.
In their report, the BBC also sought to question the claims of local Tory MP Lucy Allan that victims were mainly white, working-class girls and the officer they quoted suggested white people were equally guilty of child sex crimes.
Rather than focus on the dozens of victims who have come forward, the UK’s national broadcaster instead led with the words of West Mercia Police Superintendent Tom Harding, who said the force “significantly disputed” the number of girls attacked.
“I don’t believe Telford is any worse than lots of places across England and Wales,” the officer said after authorities were accused of failing to act, including ignoring girls found in cars with older men, giving birth at 14, and using the morning after pill many times a week.

He presented hostile tweets directed at himself to “illustrate that big tech has further to go in making the internet free of hate speech.”
Khan urged companies like Facebook and Twitter to show “a stronger duty of care” so that “social-media platforms can live up to their promises to connect, unify, and democratize the sharing of information and be places where everyone feels welcomed and valued.”
By “everyone,” he means everyone who shares his point of view. Others must be banned, so as to “unify” the sharing of information.
The London mayor suggested that Facebook and Twitter remove offensive content and misinformation faster and face fines if they don’t.
Germans, whom the British once were willing to fight to the death to preserve their liberty, present the way forward:
In January, Germany began enforcing a new rule that gives social-media platforms 24 hours to decide whether something is hate speech. German police are investigating a far-right politician, Beatrix von Storch, who described Muslims as “barbarians” on Facebook.
Khan says he expects Londoners to pressure their representatives to create a similar rule.

A schoolgirl fell pregnant six times in four years during Britain’s worst child abuse scandal which affected up to 1,000 girls for 40 years.
An investigation by the Sunday Mirror exposed the horror – as sex gangs targeted girls as young as 11 who were lured from their families to be drugged, beaten and raped in an epidemic that victims believe is still ongoing.
Lord Pearson dares to grasp the third rail and ask if there is anything in the Qur’an that could explain the phenomenon of Muslim rape gangs (yes; see 4:3, 4:24, 23:1-6, 33:50 and 70:30), and if the government will ask Muslim leaders to issue a fatwa against it. “Can we talk about Islam without being accused of hate crime?”
Note the answer he gets from Conservative Party spokesman Lord Young. Young first claims that the sexual exploitation of children is not limited to any particular race or religion. That’s true, of course, but when thousands of British girls have been raped and trafficked by Muslim men for decades, it is a spectacular evasion of what is the real problem. Nonetheless, the witless dhimmi lords shower Young with “hear hears,” and do it again when he warns that we must be careful with our language on this matter — meaning that we should be careful to say (falsely) that rape gang activity has nothing to do with Islam.
Then Young shifts focus to Muslims as victims based on an alleged hate incident, asserts (falsely) that there is nothing in the Qur’an that justifies rape gang activity (see the verses above), and claims that respect for women is inherent in Islam. He alludes to a hadith in which Muhammad is depicted as saying that Paradise is at the feet of the mother. He doesn’t quote the Hadith in which Muhammad is shown saying that most people in hell are women, because they are defective in piety and intelligence. Nor does he refer to the Qur’an’s sanction of wife-beating (4:34), its devaluation of a woman’s testimony (2:282) and inheritance rights (4:11), etc.
Lord Young represents the disconnection from reality, fantasy and wishful thinking about Islam that prevail at the highest levels in Britain, and that are leading that nation rapidly to ruin.
Cressida Dick is the Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police in London. And she is, of course, lying outright. If “grooming gangs” had been part of British society for centuries, we might have heard about it from the British writers going back to Chaucer who wrote about conditions on the ground in the country, or from political controversies of bygone ages. But there is not one mention, not one hint, of massive numbers of British girls being raped and forced into prostitution by organized gangs until quite recently.
And the perpetrators are Muslims. The victims are non-Muslims. The rape gangs operated and continue to operate according to Islamic principles. The Qur’an teaches that Infidel women can be lawfully taken for sexual use (cf. its allowance for a man to take “captives of the right hand,” 4:3, 4:24, 23:1-6, 33:50, 70:30). The Qur’an says: “O Prophet, tell your wives and your daughters and the women of the believers to bring down over themselves of their outer garments. That is more suitable that they will be known and not be abused. And ever is Allah Forgiving and Merciful.” (33:59) The implication there is that if women do not cover themselves adequately with their outer garments, they may be abused, and that such abuse would be justified.
But Cressida Dick, an official of shattered, staggering, dhimmi Britain, doesn’t want you to know that, to the extent that she lies brazenly about her own culture and heritage.
Can a civilization willing to accuse itself of evils it did not commit rather than face the magnitude of the threat against it possibly survive? No.
