Acknowledging when things have become unmanageable is in itself movement in a direction away from denial.
Which is why we must be honest when we note that Islam is often used as an excuse to perpetrate violence.
“Strike terror in the hearts of the unbelievers” is not an excuse. Its the motive.

This is at the heart of our problem with Islam, but most are too scared to acknowledge it.
Australia is not an Islamic country. Why are these people allowed to segregate, even behind bars? When did we start running PC prisons?

In December, The Daily Telegraph reported NSW prisons have “become terrorist breeding grounds because the state government has dragged its feet on de-radicalisation programs.”
It took six years to introduce a program to target terrorists — not wandering freely on our streets, but secured in our jails. Shocking systematic failure.
Why? Because the PC brigade has decreed it is unacceptable to question someone’s beliefs. Of course it’s not all Muslims, but these inmates have already been found guilty of attacking Australian values and way of life. Doesn’t their privilege end there?
Who says “not all Muslims?” All Muslims, without exemption, are commanded to wage war on unbelievers until they say ‘there is no god but allah and Muhammad is his prophet’. It is time to take Islam seriously. Their privilege should have never been granted in the first place.
If a mass murderer confesses a specific book has inspired their actions, do you let them sleep with it under their pillow to fuel their mania? Much as we loathe the overused word “trigger”, perhaps it is never as relevant as in the context of terrorism.
In the UK, Prime Minister Theresa May told MPs Muslim convert Khalid Masood had previously been investigated over links to extremism before he wrecked havoc at Westminster. Who is running the monopoly on the words, “Go to jail: Go directly to jail…”?

Interfax news agency reports a suicide bomber was behind the attack, with police identifying a 23-year old suspect who is a national of an ex-Soviet Central Asian nation. It didn’t name the suspect or the country. Police previously said they were hunting two suspects.
Originally police said they were looking man whose pictures suggested he was Muslim. A man of similar appearance has since come forward to say he is innocent.
Nobody has claimed responsibility for the horrific explosion, which is being investigated as a terrorist attack…
President Vladimir Putin, who was in the city to meet the Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, offered his condolences to the victims… “The causes are not clear, it’s too early. We will look at all possible causes, terrorism as well as common crime.”…
Extremists have targeted Russia’s public transportation systems in the past. In 2013, Russia was hit by twin suicide strikes that claimed 34 lives…
A bombing at the main railway station of the southern city of Volgograd killed 18 people while a second strike hit a trolleybus, killing 16.
A suicide raid on Moscow’s Domodedovo airport claimed by Islamic insurgents from the North Caucasus killed 37 people in January 2011.

Islamic organisations have dodged scrutiny by the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse, which has spent four years probing numerous religious organisations but made no inquiries into Islam.
The commission, now in its fourth year, has diligently investigated Catholics, Anglicans, Pentecostals, Jewish, Jehovah’s Witnesses and obscure cults — along with sporting groups and the entertainment industry.
But it has published no information on sexual abuses against children within Islam, the third largest religion in Australia, raising questions as to whether the commission, which has proactively investigated even small religious sects, has failed Islamic children.
Lawyer Peter Kelso, who has represented 15 survivors of Christian institutions, recently wrote to the commission asking if it had looked at abuse from within Islam, particularly relating to forced child marriage, female genital mutilation and child sex.
“All groups need to be treated equally and fairly,” said Mr Kelso, who got no answers from the commission but argues it should give a balanced picture of faith-based abuse.
“We know there are underage Muslim girls being pressured into things they don’t want to do. I’m happy to suggest the Royal Commission is deliberately avoiding any investigation into Islamic institutions.
“They’ve even investigated a new-age ashram. Why not Islam? I suggest there is a culture of fear in that community.”

See what a scoundrel Putin is? He didn’t immediately rule out terrorism, the way a good Western leader would. This is a developing story, and it might turn out to something other than jihad attack, but given the propensity of jihadis to set off bombs in crowded public places, jihad cannot at this point be ruled out.

DEVELOPING – At least one bomb blast on a subway train in St. Petersburg, Russia, Monday killed an estimated 10 people and wounded as many as 50 more, Russian officials said, in what President Vladimir Putin called a possible act of terror.
One of the blasts came from a device that appeared to be filled with shrapnel, Sky News reported. Putin said investigators were looking into all possible causes. Russia’s Fontanka newspaper reported that an unexploded device turned up at a different subway station as crews worked to deactivate it.
The train was going in between two stations in the center of the city, investigators said. Photos and video from the Sennaya Ploshchad station appeared to show wounded victims on the smoke-filled platform, and a train car with a door blown out. Frantic commuters reached out through the doors and windows, shouting, “Call an ambulance!”
Nobody immediately claimed responsibility for the blast. Andrei Kibitov, spokesman for the St. Petersburg governor, told Russian television 10 people were killed and 50 injured.
“People were bleeding, their hair burned,” a witness told Russia’s Life News. “My girlfriend was in the next car that exploded. She said that he began to shake. When she came out, she saw that people were mutilated.”
Crews closed all subway stations in the northern Russian city and evacuated passengers, administration officials said. Ambulances and other medical teams rushed to the scene.
“The causes are not clear, it’s too early. We will look at all possible causes, terrorism as well as common crime,” Putin responded….
We need a voice against stupidity. We have a PM who invites radical Islamic headbangers and their tilts to “iftar dinners” at taxpayer expense, bows and scrapes to them and disses critics. I doubt that we will hear a word from him in favor of free speech.
And, indeed, the threats and abuse to the tour organisers have been astonishing – at least, to those who haven’t noticed the increasing intolerance of the Left and Islamic Right:
Internationally renowned author and anti-Islam campaigner Ayaan Hirsi Ali has cancelled her upcoming tour of Australia and New Zealand, citing security concerns as one of the reasons for the decision.
Ms Hirsi Ali was due to speak in Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Auckland from Thursday to Sunday this week, but has suddenly pulled out.
She lives with around-the-clock security protection due to her criticisms of radical Islamists…
She has been a controversial figure, earning, according to the event’s organisers, “widespread criticism among the liberal left and death threats from the religious right.”
The event was organised by Think Inc., a Sydney-based organisation that attempts to provoke debate and rational discourse through conversation…
Its insurers were contacted and warned there could be trouble, and venues where she was scheduled to speak had been contacted and warned that there would be protests where she was due to appear.
Much of this was done by an individual called Syed Murtaza Hussain of the Council for the Prevention of Islamophobia Inc.
He informed Festival Hall in Melbourne there would be 5000 protesters outside the venue if the engagement went ahead.
May I point out to the Council for the Prevention of Islamophobia that it creates exactly what it claims to condemn?
We, the undersigned, would like to express our utmost disappointment that Ayaan Hirsi-Ali is being brought to Australia by Think Inc…. Although we are not a homogenous group, we are united in our condemnation of Hirsi-Ali’s discourse which is grounded in hate-mongering and bigotry… Hirsi-Ali’s divisive rhetoric simply serves to increase hostility and hatred towards Muslims…
Ayaan Hirsi Ali’s conversation does not contribute to any insights nor further the debate in any way. This is simple sensationalism designed to fuel division and hate.
These women turn on Hirsi Ali as the voice of “white supremacy” – can you believe it? – and accuse her of profiteering from the death threats against her. They denounce her as an oppressor of Muslim women, when the evidence is that she is oppressed in a way none of her critics are.
Oh, and that claim that Hirsi Ali “does not speak for us”? Of course, she doesn’t – because she’s not a Muslim now, is she?
Maher Mughrabi, foreign editor of The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald, last week heaped up the hate – and note the blame-the-West victimhood that makes reform of Islam near impossible:
Hirsi Ali serves up pseudo-theology that tells us that if we pulp the nasty, warlike Madinan verses of the Koran and extract the kind and gentle Meccan ones, we’ll have better Islam and better Muslims.
Never mind the fact that every religion and every nation that has ever aspired to create a community has had both martial and pastoral characteristics (is that blood on the wattle?). Never mind that in the past two centuries far more violence has been imported into the Muslim world than it has exported.

The outspoken critic on Monday abruptly cancelled the Australian and New Zealand leg of her upcoming tour, citing security concerns as a reason.
The talks were expected to begin in Brisbane on Thursday, before heading south to Sydney and then concluding in Melbourne on the Saturday.
The event, “Ayaan Hirsi Ali: Hero of Heresy”, was billed as an opportunity to “step inside the controversy” surrounding Islam and womens’ place in Sharia law.
Organisers Think Inc., who were scrutinised for their decision to host the controversial speaker, confirmed all ticket holders would be refunded in full.
Hirsi Ali was also due to appear on Q&A on Monday evening.
Let’s reflect on Muslim nations’ Christian genocide

Our nation’s newest refugees will soon celebrate their first Easter in Australia. It is a momentous occasion for those who survived Islamic State’s genocide of Christians and have been given a new life in our country.
Yet many Western nations refuse to recognise asylum for Christians fleeing genocide and persecution.
Typically, politicians cite the principle of non-discriminatory immigration to justify policies that result in discrimination against Christian victims of genocide. It is morally reprehensible.
Last year, the US Congress declared that the Islamic State persecution of Christians and other minorities constituted genocide. The term was coined by Raphael Lemkin who recognised the slaughter of Armenians in 1915 as the first genocide of the 20th century. He wrote: “It [genocide] happened to the Armenians and after the Armenians, Hitler took action.”
It is estimated that the Ottomans massacred between 800,000 and 1.5 million Armenians in the genocide, most of whom were Christians. To commemorate its centenary, Pope Francis said: “The first genocide of the 20th century struck your own Armenian people, the first Christian nation.”
Turkey’s Islamist government continues to deny the genocide took place.
First, they annihilate the disbelievers, then they destroy the evidence.
