Here’s a brief compilation of imams gone wild during the past couple of weeks. They’ve been busy.

In Australia:

A visiting Islamic scholar is heading back to Pakistan after a surfaced of him preaching that the world will not see peace until ‘all Jews are wiped out’.

Muhammad Raza Saqib Mustafai, who has already addressed congregations in Blacktown and Liverpool, was to continue his tour in Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide.

But when the video, titled “Jews are the enemies of Islam and the real peace” and shot in 2012, came to light, the remaining engagements were cancelled, Fairfax reports.

In the video, Mustafai says peace will be restored to the world once all Jews had been killed and removed from the planet.

“And when the last Jew will be killed from this world, then peace would be established in the world – so much so that snakes would roam among people but would not bite,” he says, according to a translation by the Middle East Media Research Institute.

In Egypt:

A controversial Sydney Imam has had a shoe thrown at him during a live interview on Egyptian television after suggesting Muslim women weren’t required to wear the burka.

Dr Mostafa Rashid suggested the wearing of the burka was a cultural tradition rather than a religious duty, infuriating fellow guest, Egyptian lawyer Nabih al-Wahsh, who removed his shoe and began hitting the Australian with it …

“You said you were the Mufti of Australia and a scholar in Sydney, but there’s not even a mosque in Sydney,” Mr Al-Wahsh said to Mr Rashid.

Jordanian writer Nahed Hattar was shot dead by a suspected Islamist gunman today Sunday, September 25th, outside the courtroom where he was due to stand trial for insulting Islam by sharing a cartoon on Facebook.

The gunman was arrested at the scene has been identified as Riyad Ismail Abdullah, a 49-year-old imam who recently returned from making the Hajj pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.

In England:

An imam who raped a young boy was protected by mosque elders who banished him abroad only for him to secretly return to the UK.

Noor Walile, 38, was given a six year jail term after he raped the boy in a toilet in between a lesson he was giving at Rugby Mosque, Warwickshire.

When confronted about the attack after the terrified child told his parents he said: ‘The devil made me do it’.

Another devil was involved in India:

Police have announced a cash reward of Rs 5,000 for information on the absconding imam of Bijnor’s Jama Masjid, who has been charged with raping a woman on the pretext of driving out the devil inside her. 

In Scotland:

An imam is to stand trial accused of attacking a seven-year-old boy during an Arabic lesson at a mosque.

Hafiz Rizvi, a cleric at the Masjid Tajdar-e-Madina Mosque in Dundee, was arrested over the incident earlier this year.

In Nigeria:

A 40-year-old Muslim cleric, Alfa Saheed Gbadamosi, has been arraigned before an Ikeja Magistrates’ Court sitting in Lagos State for allegedly beating up a Pastor, Emmanuel Ugbo, and also threatening to pour acid on the victim as well as destroying his church property.

And in the US:

A Muslim cleric in Maryland, who has openly endorsed the Islamic State terror group and funded at least one Muslim convert who was arrested for buying illegal explosives, has not been charged or arrested because, according to authorities, he hasn’t broken any laws.

Suleiman Anwar Bengharsa, an imam at mosques in Annapolis and outside Baltimore who also serves as a prison chaplain, has posted gruesome videos showing Islamic State fighters, also known as ISIS, ISIL or Daesh, beheading and burning alive their enemies and praised terrorist attacks overseas, The New York Times reports.

They’re a colourful bunch, your imams. Perhaps they warrant further close attention.

Our refugee program has put Australians in danger.

Three men were armed with knives and threatened staff members at the registers, demanding cash…

All of the offenders had their identity disguised, however witnesses have described them as dark skinned and in their 20s.

These youths are most certainly refugees or the children of refugees from Africa.

Antonio Guterres wondered if we might have “sociological and psychological” issues:

The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Antonio Guterres has described as “very strange” Australia’s obsession with deterring asylum seekers who arrive by boat to seek refugee protection.

Answering a question posed by Australian refugee community representative at the UNHCR-NGO consultations in Geneva, Mr Guterres said Australia was in a “very strange situation” with its refugee policy …

“(Australia) is a very generous country hosting refugees. It has the most successful resettlement program I can imagine and the community integration is excellent. The combination of civil society, local authorities and central government in that is excellent,” Mr Guterres said.

“The problem is when we discuss boats and there, of course, we enter into a very, very, very dramatic thing. I think it is a kind of collective sociological and psychological question. They receive, I think, 180,000 migrants in a year. If you come to Australia in a different way, it’s fine but if they come in a boat it is like something strange happens to their minds.”

On behalf of my fellow simple-minded Australians, let me attempt to explain why we view legal migrants and boat arrivals differently. In the former category we find people of known background. We are able to judge their potential and the level of risk they may present.

They have passports.

In the second category we find people who have skipped across several nations, including nations where they would be welcome, prior to seeking Australian arrival. They pay huge sums to people smugglers, whose deadly industry killed more than 1200 people during Labor’s years in power alone. We know nothing of their potential or if they present a threat.

In order to make discovery of their past more problematic, they throw their passports away. Oh, and one more thing: we’re quite happy to be avoiding the problems suffered by Germany, France, Sweden and other nations vulnerable to massive uninvited arrivals.

There. Now you’re up to speed on this, Antonio, please feel free to inform all your UN mates.

UN’s New Secretary General Antonio Guterres: ‘Tireless Refugee Champion’

Billionaire hedge fund manager and political donor George Soros has said Europe must welcome huge numbers of asylum seekers and economic migrants, claiming they will benefit the economy.

Writing in Die Welt, Soros lays out “seven pillars” he beleives should be enacted in order for Germany and Europe to see financial gains from the mass migration of people from the third world.

Calling Britain’s vote to leave the bloc a tragedy, the Hungarian Billionaire warns that the prospect of “xenophobic, nationalist movements” winning elections in France, the Netherlands, and Germany constitutes a massive threat.

None of these costly “counter-terror schemes” has ever been of any benefit to us. In fact, there is no evidence that any potential terrorists have been ‘deradicalised’ by these expensive programs, that feed slick Islamic headbangers like Moazzam Begg.

Fitnah is the Quranic phrase for what has been dubbed Islamophobia in the non-Islamic world.

The very fact that you are not a Muslim, and don’t want to be, after being called upon [Dawah], makes you unjust and [an] oppressor. This is called Fitnah, and Fitnah is worse than killing. Whenever you criticize Islam on the Net, you are committing Fitnah. Therefore, you are worse than a murderer, and your blood is Halal [Permissible].

A little more than a year ago, I wrote about the subject of Fitnah from an Islamic theological perspective, while pointing out that Fitnah is the Quranic phrase for what has been dubbed Islamophobia in the non-Islamic world.

This time, I would like to discuss the same subject, but from a more secular-political perspective. In other words, does the potent Quranic concept that Fitnah is worse than slaughter, have any application in the secular-political world outside of predominantly Islamic countries?

As you will see, the answer is, plainly, Yes. After reviewing the earlier article on Fitnah, you’ll also see that the bottom line, theologically, is that the serious moral crime of refusing to accept Islam (= Fitnah), is much greater than any possible moral crime involved in the slaughtering (or plundering) of non-Muslims for their unbelief.

Islamic State recruits not driven by poverty, and above average in education

The idea that poverty and ignorance cause terrorism has led the U.S. to shower billions on Muslim countries, hoping to win hearts and minds and alleviate what mainstream analysts doggedly believe are the root causes of terrorism. But it has been known for years that poverty doesn’t really cause terrorism at all. The Economist reported in 2010:

Social scientists have collected a large amount of data on the socioeconomic background of terrorists. According to a 2008 survey of such studies by Alan Krueger of Princeton University, they have found little evidence that the typical terrorist is unusually poor or badly schooled.

In the same vein, CNS News noted in September 2013:

According to a Rand Corporation report on counterterrorism, prepared for the Office of the Secretary of Defense in 2009, “Terrorists are not particularly impoverished, uneducated, or afflicted by mental disease. Demographically, their most important characteristic is normalcy (within their environment). Terrorist leaders actually tend to come from relatively privileged backgrounds.” One of the authors of the RAND report, Darcy Noricks, also found that according to a number of academic studies, “Terrorists turn out to be more rather than less educated than the general population.”

The Times Online reported the following as far back as April 2005:

Three-quarters of the Al-Qaeda members were from upper middle-class homes and many were married with children; 60% were college educated, often in Europe or the United States.

And here we go again.

The data shows clearly, the report said, that “poverty is not a driver of radicalization into violent extremism”

But don’t tell this to the Islamo-propagandists who’s problem is “Islamophobia” rather than those who follow their religious scriptures and “strike terror in the hearts of the enemy:”

Ministers from Islamic states on Thursday urged the West to make efforts to help ease the threats against Muslim youths posed by extremism and Islamophobia.

(Besides) the growing threat of Islamophobia, Muslim youths are also struggling with poor education and inadequate job opportunities…..

This comes from the same dogs who constantly call for us to be educated about Islam….

Turkey’s youth and sports minister said Thursday that members of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) should work to fight Islamophobia.

“As OIC members, it is our duty to fight such defamation. Our noble religion, Islam, can in no way be mentioned alongside terrorism,” Akif Cagatay Kilic told the Third OIC Youth and Sports Ministers Conference in Istanbul.

Kilic said Islamophobia tries to make people have a negative image of places where a majority of Muslims live.

“Islam supports all victims and oppressed peoples without regard to religion, language, or race and always takes a stand against tyrants”, he added.

Muslims who pray or wear the veil feel ‘targeted’ just because of their faith by a government scheme at stopping people becoming radicalised, the terror watchdog warned today.

David Anderson, who has access to secret papers to independently review whether terror laws are effective and proportionate, said trust had to be restored by reforming the Prevent programme.

Mr Anderson said the ‘fear’ in Muslim communities about the scheme was real even if it was ‘exaggerated’.

He told the BBC there was a ‘serious problem of Islamist extremism’ in Britain but added 15 per cent of Prevent’s work relates to the extreme right wing and not Muslims.

Mr Anderson, who is due to leave his post in 2017 after six years as the Independent Reviewer of Terrorism Legislation, said Prevent should be reformed rather than scrapped to make it more effective.

His concerns follow criticism of the programme by leading opposition figures, including shadow home secretary Andy Burnham.

A Paki “scholar “visiting Australia for a speaking tour has been ordered home after a video sermon surfaced of him saying the world will be purified when every Jew is wiped out.

Muhammad Raza Saqib Mustafai, who has a Facebook fan base of almost a million people, spoke at the Ghausia Masjid in Blacktown and the Al-Madinah Masjid in Liverpool over the long weekend.

Ghausia Masjid’s imam Hafiz Raza, who organised the tour, didn’t respond to questions about the visit or the 2012 video titled “Jews are the enemies of Islam and the real peace”.

However, after Fairfax Media alerted the Pakistan Association of Australia to the video on Wednesday, they called the Ghausia Masjid who decided to cancel Mr Mustafai’s talks this week in Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide and ask him to return home.

Association president Abbas Khan said Pakistani Australians are deeply committed to harmony in Australia and he was shocked by the video.

He said he met Mr Mustafai on Wednesday and the scholar said the video didn’t reflect his opinions and was a quote from a book.

He said Mr Mustafai has given hundreds of sermons about peace and following the laws of the land but his tour would be cancelled to prevent any misunderstanding.

“The whole Australian community has embraced Pakistanis with warm hearts and true spirits and we will not support or join anything that will deter them,” he said.

In the video, Mr Mustafai says peace will be established in the world when the last Jew is killed.

“Muslims are not terrorists; they are the lovers of peace and preachers of peace. And all the troubles that exist around the world are because of the Jews.
