Seven Arab universities have recently been established in The Hague. Some of them train pilots, others offer courses in Islamic sciences or nuclear physics. But far from everybody is convinced that the degrees the universities offer hold any value…

Moslem education – Worthless Diplomas

In Islamic countries education has a completely different role than in Western countries. At the prestigious universities of the Islamic world, it is more important for an aspiring engineer or physician to know the Qur’an than the future professional field. From Kabul on Maschad, Isfahan, Ghom, Tehran to Riyadh and Jeddah diplomas and titles are issued  for “doctors” or “engineers” over which Westerners can only frown.  That is also the reason that people from these countries seek medical treatment in western countries, or prefer to hire construction engineers from Western countries (such as in Dubai or other Gulf states).

It is clear that diplomas in states of the Islamic world have a completely different meaning than those in Western countries. Gutmenschen (liberal progressives)  don’t accept that and demand  equal recognition of such diplomas from Islamic states. That is one side of the coin.

Parallel to this is currently an initiative  which is more than questionable: self-proclaimed Moslem universities, title mills  in the middle of Europe,  award  Ph.D. degrees or other degrees, which have nothing, absolutely nothing in common with  the European education system, –  such as Alhurra, the Dutch University and also in the Netherlands  “Global Lahaye University” (Source: Elsevier July 2009).

 The term “university” is not legally protected. Any goat-herder can open a “university.” This is how Muslims  in Europe turn Koran students now increasingly into university graduates. Naive multicuturalists  who believe all cultures are equal  tend to show much goodwill towards  such certificates. All this speeds up the decline of western culture – wherever Mohammedans of such universities in Europe demand that such “diplomas” are considered,  the quality of education goes in only in one direction:  skid row!

Muslims been saying these things all along, but unfortunately we are stuck with “leaders” who just won’t listen:

Yeah!  Lets give them a state, lets give them weapons, training, money…! They “deserve to live in peace…”

Al Amriki: doesn’t need job,  money or security…

Indeed, Obama has apparently long held the view that the global jihad could be bought off and ended with various economic perks and negotiated concessions. Al-Amriki tells him here that that is not going to happen, which stands to reason since he and others like him are fighting for religious motives that will never be satisfied by money or political concessions. But it is unlikely that Obama, or the learned analysts, will consider this possibility and formulate any strategies to deal with it.

Pakistan: Cleric Abdul Aziz warns of ‘bloody revolution’

…unless sharia is enforced in all of Pakistan, of course:

ISLAMABAD: The most hardline cleric in Pakistan’s capital on Friday demanded that the government enforce Islamic law or risk bloody revolution, two years after security forces stormed his Red Mosque.

‘If you want to solve the problems, you should stop the operations in Swat and the tribal areas, then enforce sharia in Pakistan,’ said Aziz.
