Just wondering: how did all these “radical Islamic elders” get into the country? And how will we get rid of them?   Who will rid us of this Shiite?

Once again, it’s not the “interior spiritual struggle” variety of jihad. The good news in this case is that Muslim community members alerted authorities, though Islam’s texts and traditions will undoubtedly generate this behavior again unless and until they, too, are addressed forthrightly, and not with evasion and denial. “Radical Islamic elder preaching jihad in Perth’s suburbs,” from the Sunday Times, March 28 (thanks to JW):

Islamic cleric who participated in "Congress of Imams and Rabbis for Peace" calls for extermination of Jews

  • Its not about land. Its all about elimination.

Quick, president Hussein: give them a state, billions, weapons!  

The delegates at that Congress “vowed to ‘condemn any negative representation’ of each other’s religions.” Apparently this Islamic cleric doesn’t see genocidal antisemitism as reflecting negatively upon his religion.

A Hamas cleric who once participated in an international conference of “Imams and Rabbis for Peace” — whose delegates vowed to “condemn any negative representation” of each other’s religions — has wholeheartedly espoused Hamas’s racist ideology in a recent Friday sermon on Hamas TV.Ironically, this latest profession of Hamas’s genocidal racism was preached and broadcast at the start of the month in which the UN is meeting in the “Durban II” conference in Geneva to condemn Israel as being “racist.”

Egyptian Cleric Khaled Al-Gindi: Colombian Performer Shakira Is a Whore

“If the whole world approves of something, but Islam condemns it, that settles it. Is music and song forbidden? Yes they are—according to both the book [Koran] and Sunna. The matter is settled.”

                                 

 

Following are excerpts from an interview with Egyptian cleric Sheik Khaled Al-Gindi, which aired on Channel 1, Egyptian TV, on August 30, 2008:

Interviewer: What do you think of Shakira?

Khaled Al-Gindi: Oh my God!

Interviewer: Although it’s strange to ask Sheik Khaled Al-Gindi about Shakira, I’d like to know what you think of her.

Khaled Al-Gindi: She is nothing but a whore.
