A young Israeli man who studied in Germany has been arrested on espionage charges in Israel. Khaled K., of Palestinian descent, allegedly spied for the Hezbollah Shiite militia. His case is expected to highlight Hezbollah recruiting activities in Germany.
When Khaled K. stepped off the plane from Germany to start his summer vacation, it wasn’t his family that awaited him at the gate. Instead Shin Bet agents and police greeted the 29-year-old Israeli man of Palestinian descent when he arrived on July 16 at Israel’s Ben Gurion International Airport. He was arrested and disappeared into custody for two weeks until Israeli officials filed charges against him on Wednesday and lifted a gag order on coverage of his arrest.

Hezbollah might be more active in Germany than officials thought.
The charges filed by state prosecutors are serious. They allege the man, who comes from the Israeli-Arab town of Kalanswa, sought contact with an agent with connections to Hezbollah in an effort to pass on information.Â
The indictment alleges he also supplied names of potential recruits to the Shiite militia and that he had expressed his preparedness to take a job at the Rambam Hospital in the Israeli city of Haifa after completing his studies in Germany, where he is enrolled as a student at the University of Göttingen near Hanover. Israeli soldiers in the 2006 war against Hezbollah are still being treated at the Rambam Hospital, and K. was apparently supposed to sound them out in order to obtain information that could be useful to Hezbollah.
Prosecutors also allege that the Israeli-Arab was paid a total of €13,000 for his services. According to the Israeli Foreign Ministry in Jerusalem, he has confessed to the charges.

Local sources told a correspondent from the Arab television network, al-Jazeera, that a big explosion occurred hours before the Olympic Games were due to begin in Beijing on Friday (Photo).Â
It was not immediately clear whether the explosion was caused by a deliberate attack or an accident.Â
A Jihadist group, Ansar al-Jihad, said on Thursday it planned to post a video related to attacks which killed 16 policemen in the restive northwestern Muslim region of Xinjiang on Monday.
Last month a group calling itself the Turkestan Islamic Party claimed responsibility for several bus bombings in Shanghai and Kunming, capital of the southwestern province of Yunnan.
Turkestan is another name for Xinjiang. The province is home to several ethnic groups but is mainly made up of Muslim Uighurs, who have a Turkic language and culture.Â

Interestingly the Associated Press runs to frame the Terrorists to a local ethnic conflict in one of China’s Western provinces. AP wrote: “Chinese forces have for years been battling a low-intensity separatist movement among Xinjiang’s Uighurs, a Turkic Muslim people who are culturally and ethnically distinct from China’s Han majority.” The news agency has tried to set the agenda of the debate by scoring three points for the “radicals.” They are separatists, they are representative of a local ethnicity and they are Muslim. In addition the description of the struggle is informative: Chinese forces versus a Uighur movement. In a way a parallel to Kosovo, Chechnya and Kashmir with two projected effects. As framed by AP, the struggle of these “Terrorists” is indeed legitimate even though the means are violent. But is it the case?

Muhammad announced the “four witnesses” revelation in Sura 24 in order to exonerate Aisha of rumors of adultery, thus supplying a the provision in Sharia law that has served to protect perpetrators of sex crimes. Together with the attitude taken toward women and girls as possessions, it is not difficult to see why “women and girls, especially young girls, are the most unprotected people of Afghanistan.”
Ironically, the suggested solution will undoubtedly be more Sharia, to solve problems created by Sharia.

It remains unclear what will happen to Hamdan once his sentence is served, since the U.S. military has said it won’t release anyone who still represents a threat. The judge, Navy Capt. Keith Allred, said Hamdan would likely be eligible for the same administrative review process as other prisoners.
Hamdan thanked the jurors for the sentence and repeated his apology for having served bin Laden.
“I would like to apologize one more time to all the members and I would like to thank you for what you have done for me,” Hamdan told the panel of six U.S. military officers, hand-picked by the Pentagon for the first U.S. war crimes trial in a half century….

Francesco Bruzzone, a regional councillor for the Northern League, said Muslims had “no business coming” to the hospital and hostel where crusaders and pilgrims had gathered and said mass before leaving for the Holy Land.”This shows a lack of respect for history” Mr Bruzzone said. He said he had been due to go on holiday but instead had decided to stay in Genoa to protest.
Not to mention Muslims would only want to go to this den of “infidelity” for one reason and one reason only: to declare the subtle victory of Islam through the stealth jihad ; for what else could it mean if Muslims, the traditional enemies of Christendom, come and “pray” in a palace founded by Christian men who gave their lives fighting Islam?

The Obama campaign does not monitor all blog material but says it removes offending posts brought to the attention of site administrators.
A search through the community blogs on Obama’s official site under such key words as “Zionists,” “Israel Lobby,” or “Jews” brings up thousands of entries, some containing what can easily be described as hate material.
In a blog posting on Obama’s site titled, “Are Israeli Zionists in Control of Our Democracy?” user “Stan” claims “Israeli elements” in the U.S. who possess both American and Israeli citizenship “dominate our political process so we cannot act as an honest broker in the Middle East.”
