RADICAL Indonesian cleric Abu Bakar Bashir has used the anniversary of the Bali terrorist attacks to defend the bombers. Bashir says the bombings, which killed 202 people including 88 Australians, aimed to defend Muslims. 

                                   

He told Fairfax media the bombers, who are on death row, will “die as martyrs”.

“If someone dies as a martyr he will get special treatment in the afterlife,” he said. 

Bashir still speaks to the bombers – Imam Samudra, Mukhlas and Amrozi – behind bars. 

Hundreds of survivors and relatives of those killed gathered at Sydney’s Coogee Beach yesterday, to remember the victims. 

A memorial service was also held in Bali. 

Dozens of people gathered on Kuta Beach for what’s become a tradition, paddling for peace, and forming a circle out to sea in honour of the victims.

  1. In the topsy turvy world of Islamic logic you defend yourself by making pre-emptive strikes against innocent civilians who are not making any threat against you whatsoever. Ooop sorry forgot of course no Kaffir is innocent he is guilty of not believing in the Arabian Moon God Allah. So that’s OK bomb away lads you are fully justified. Think that’s crazy its not that is just how the idiotic Islamic mind reasons or at least performs actions which they call reasoning.
