The vast majority of Muslim terrorists and fellow travelers in America are not citizens, therefore do not have a citizen’s rights, or they are naturalized, and should have their citizenship revoked for the slightest offense. Revoking is legal. The State Dept has done it recently to octagenarian Nazis who had lived here for 60 years. Not doing this to Islamists is an unforgivable act of bureaucratic terrorism by the politically correct traitors at State, as well as by the President.

Hassan Diab is a part-time instructor at the University of Ottawa and Carleton University. Now he is wanted in France on multiple counts of murder, attempted murder and wilful destruction of property for by a bombing outside a Paris synagogue that killed four people in October 1980. The bombing was apparently the work of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, which is universally described as a Marxist/nationalist group. In this as in its other operations, however, it acted as either a willing or unwitting tool of the jihad against Israel.

The Taliban Kidnap One of Their Own

As the security situation in Pakistan’s Northwest Frontier Province continues to deteriorate, the Taliban are threatening to take control of Peshawar, the provincial capital. As the Taliban grow bolder, they have begun to target foreigners of all stripes. Even one of their own.

* “I am not a “terrorist”, a fanatic or mentally off-balance…”

Today, two reporters, one from Newsweek, were shot in western Peshawar after they dodged a kidnapping attempt. Yesterday, the Taliban successfully kidnapped an Iranian consular official, in the same region. Two days prior, a U.S. aid worker and his driver were killed in another kidnapping attempt.

*  “Violent jihad is a natural response to Western decadence..” 

But the most curious kidnapping that occurred in Pakistan’s northwest has gone largely unreported. The Taliban kidnapped a Canadian journalist named Beverly Giesbrecht. CTV described Giesbrecht as “a Web magazine publisher in British Columbia who adopted the name Khadija Abdul Qahaar after converting to Islam after 9/11.”

I reported last month that Tariq Ramadan had been invited to a panel discussion in Vienna sponsored by the Akademikerbund. A few days ago Mr. Ramadan withdrew from the event, and the residents of Vienna were denied the opportunity to ask questions of the silver-tongued grandson of Hassan al-Banna, the founder of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Western Principles vs. Islamic Principles/update

Our European correspondent Lexington, after reading ESW’s account of the “Euro-Islam” panel discussion in Vienna, sent us this email:

On the subject of ‘integration’ of Moslems into non-Moslem societies, Tariq Ramadan had this to say to his Moslem audience (MEMRI transcript):

Tariq Ramadan‘In his audiocassette, Living in the West, Ramadan says: “When I live in a country or when I am a citizen in it, I respect its constitution. This is an Islamic principle.” However, he hastens to qualify this statement by stressing that a country’s constitution and laws must only be respected “as long as there is no social, cultural, economic, or legal aspect in that country that contradicts any Islamic principle.” He makes it quite clear that “the Muslim respects the laws of the country only if they do not contradict any Islamic principle”.’

On that basis, and taking the man at his word (yes, really), I’d say there’s absolutely no basis whatsoever for either obtaining, or indeed, desiring ‘integration’ of Moslems into any society, anywhere, because Islamic principles contradict Western principles in every category imaginable.

As someone initially enthusiastic about interfaith, I have become increasingly doubtful about the value of interfaith with Muslims. For that reason, I went along to a meeting at Bnai Brith, a Jewish group, on 26 October 2008 titled “Is Interfaith Networking Working?” The main speakers at the meeting were: Rev Dr Mark Durie, Mr Yasser Soliman and Rabbi John Levi.  

My belief when I first got involved in interfaith was that dialogue would lead to increased understanding and respect. However, the more I attended these sessions, the more I became uncomfortably aware that they were being used by Muslims for Islamic dawa (proselytism). The profound differences between Islam and Christianity were never discussed, or were glossed over by emphasising surface similarities, whilst the Jewish interfaith participants seemed to think the commonality of both not eating pork trumped the Islamic exhortation to kill Jews.

Hassan Diab was leading the quiet life of a Canadian sociology professor. Now he has been arrested in Quebec at the request of France, which accuses him of being behind a bomb attack that killed four people at a Paris synagogue in 1980. Three French citizens and one Israeli woman were killed outside a synagogue in a posh area of Paris when a bomb went off minutes before a crowd of people were due to emerge from the synagogue. Twenty others were hurt.

The attack took place on a Friday evening, at the start of the Jewish Sabbath.
