Prime Minister Recep Tayyip ErdoÄŸan rejected attempts to call Turkey the representative of moderate Islam. “It is unacceptable for us to agree with such a definition. Turkey has never been a country to represent such a concept. Moreover,Islam cannot be classified as moderate or not,” ErdoÄŸan said, 

But whatever you do, don’t connect those dots to the  Pakistani bombing for Islamic purity or the other 13,000 fatal jihad attacks since 9/11/01. That’s Islamophobic! 

Erdogan’s taqiyya from the same article: 

“Those who are defending this mistaken and baseless assumption particularly can go as further as associating terrorism with Islam, which is named after peace, and it lays the groundwork for those who are trying to globalize Islamophobia,” he said. 

Islam of course means “submission”, not peace.

The founder of the jihadist website Jihad Unspun, Beverly Giesbrecht, is a Canadian convert to Islam who now goes by the name Khadija Abdul Qahaar — but her open allegiance to the global jihad didn’t stop jihadists in Pakistan from kidnapping her. Several weeks ago she made a video in which she said that her jihadist captors had set a deadline to behead her by the end of March. Now they’re saying the deadline is tomorrow.

AFTER an optimistic, apolitical and somewhat abstract speech calling for global dialogue, the former Iranian president Mohammad Khatami turned to the audience for questions.

                                  

Immediately the gathering in Canberra turned to the vexed and somewhat murky questions of the Middle East conflict, Afghanistan and Iranian treatment of Baha’is and women.
