State Department bows to Sharia, condemns Motoons
Disgraceful. The tradition of Condi Clueless continues. Remember her?

These shameful and spineless words were spoken like a true dhimmi in a futile attempt to sooth and appease the supposed indignity of our adversaries. Such a graven display of cowardice  will only act to embolden our adversaries and those seeking the internal destruction of our nation.
And yet, it gets worse by the day under the crooked Obama administration:
Did the U.S. State Department ever condemn “Piss Christ” or Chris Ofili’s dung-encrusted portrait of the Virgin Mary? Of course not. They’re only condemning the Motoons because of the anti-free speech campaign of the Organization of the Islamic Conference, which kicked into high gear in response to the original Danish cartoons of Muhammad. So the U.S. State Department is demonstrating that violence and intimidation work — which only ensures that we will see more of it.
And with its fig-leaf defense of the freedom of speech below, issued in the context of deploring and denouncing the Motoons, amounts to a call for self-censorship. Now, self-censorship is something we all do all the time, in innumerable contexts: if everyone always said what he thought, there would be a lot more broken relationships and lost jobs, etc. But politeness and respect are not what are at issue here, and the point of publishing the Motoons is not to cause offense, although they will certainly do that. The key fact is that the cartoons arouse in Muslims not only murderous rage but attempts to restrict the freedom of speech through legal avenues. As such, self-censorship amounts only to self-imposed dhimmitude, and to acquiescence to the supremacy and rule of Sharia.
That’s why the Motoons are not a stunt, not a joke, not a raspberry to anyone, not an exercise in obnoxiousness or gratuitous offense. The Motoons are rather the foremost battleground in the defense of the freedom of speech today. Every newspaper in the country should be printing them today, to show they are not cowed and will defend free speech. The State Department should be explaining what I am explaining now. Instead, this.

How Many French Remain in Algeria?
There are now 6 million (+) Mohammedans in France. Few, if any, French nationals remain in Algeria. The people who tried to civilize the ‘Algeriennes’ have been driven out, their property appropriated. Â Colonialism is a dirty word today, we all stand accused of the worst atrocities, our guilt allows Moslems to run amok in our cities and burn our cars, attack and terrorize our citizens. Billions in welfare payments and ‘developing aid’ (jiziya, tribute) Â are wasted on “lifting the Muslim world out of poverty”, which will never happen, of course, because it was Islam that got them there in the first place.
All that does not suffice. Â A new movie will tell the world how bad we really are, but not everybody is buying:

The story sounds familiar:
Hors la Loi (Outside the Law) is about three Algerian brothers who are evicted from their ancestral home when it is occupied by a settler family in 1925, following their story over the next several decades.
It has stirred strong reactions in France for several weeks ahead of its release, particularly over scenes dealing with a crackdown by French troops in the town of Setif in 1945. Â Thousands of Algerians – estimates range from 15,000 to 45,000 – and about 100 (the real number is much higher) European settlers were killed.
The BBC conveniently forgets to mention that Algerians killed one another to the tune of 300.000 in a war to establish an Islamic government.

There were protests from hundreds of people and beefed-up security at the Cannes film festival today for the first screening of an unflinching dramatisation of French atrocities against Algerians.
Rachid Bouchareb’s Outside the Law is in competition for this year’s Palme d’Or but it has been condemned by some politicians (even before they had seen it) as historically revisionist and “anti-French.”

This post, by Iowahawk, on “Draw Mohammed Day” was satire, but readers could be forgiven for thinking it wasn’t, especially as it is not so different from hand-wringing dozy bint Amira Nowaira in The Guardian:

Portraying Muslims as sub-human is not ‘free speech’
The depiction of Prophet Muhammad as a dog by a Swedish cartoonist has sparked off controversies and renewed debates on the limits to free speech. The incident at Uppsala University when Muslim protesters physically attacked Lars Vilks while giving a lecture on the limits of free speech is presented in the media as yet another instance of Muslim intolerance and violence.
So, the person who headbutted Vilks for explictly stated, Islamically justified reasons, was tolerant and non-violent? How is it not “yet another instance of Muslim intolerance and violence”? The guy is a Muslim. He was violent because he had failed to tolerate Vilks’ art. Furthermore, he didn’t attack Vilks for just any reasons. He explictly identifies his grievance and the grievance is entirely Islamic and supported by a huge number of other Muslims.
But let us first examine the subtext of the message that Vilks is trying to convey….
Muslims, in Vilks’s view, as represented by their prophet, are sub-human creatures to be looked down upon. They are perhaps the worst vermin that “nature ever suffered to crawl upon the surface of the earth”, to use Swift’s phrase in a different context.
(The context, is of course Sura (8:55) -Â Surely the vilest of animals in Allah’s sight are those who disbelieve…. and where do the sons of apes & swine come in? The apes are Jews, the people of the Sabbath; while the swine are the Christians, the infidels of the communion of Jesus.”)
In this respect, Vilks’s message seems fairly similar to that conveyed by the short “documentary” film Fitna produced by the Dutch politician Geert Wilders….
(Omar Bakri had no problem with it, Amira. He said it could be used to recruit jihadists for the caliphate)
But does Vilks realise the impact of this kind of representation on the lives of ordinary European Muslims going peacefully about their business? Does he realise that the image he has created feeds into the racial profiling and stereotyping targeting the Muslim population in Europe in particular? …
Lying is part of Islam just like terrorizing the unbelievers and all methods of da’awa. Â Islam is not a race, its a violent ideology in the guise of religion. Where are those “ordinary European Muslims going peacefully about their business?” Â Â There is no “racial profiling” and if Muslims would try stop whingeing and whining about “stereotyping” and focus on integration instead, perhaps there wouldn’t be a problem.

Vilks has succeeded in gaining his moment in the spotlight. But the legacy of his action will be the perpetuation of a cycle of hatred and suspicion.
Unfortunately, and depressingly perhaps, we are left with one conclusion. Muslims, in Vilks’s view, as represented by their prophet, are sub-human creatures to be looked down upon. Errr no. He said nothing of the sort as far as I know so you have no right to infer that he did. The message is more likely to be “you may have a religious taboo about representing this man but we do not and the more you try to enforce this taboo on the rest of us the more we will kick back”.

Horror in the U.S.: 228,000 women have undergone or are at risk for female genital mutilation

“Cutting” doesn’t describe it. “Circumcision” doesn’t, either. It is mutilation, plain and simple, and must be recognized as such. But at least this story doesn’t entirely tiptoe around the prevalence of the practice in Muslim countries.
It may be a millennia-old practice, but the fact remains that Islamic law embraced it, and that is the reason for its persistence — it is not at all merely “cultural.” From the Shafi manual of Islamic jurisprudence, Umdat al-Salik (Reliance of the Traveler), certified as “reliable” by the Misunderstanders of Islam Al-Azhar University in Egypt:
“Circumcision is obligatory (O: for both men and women. For men it consists of removing the prepuce from the penis, and for women, removing the prepuce (Ar. bazr) of the clitoris (n: not the clitoris itself, as some mistakenly assert). (A: Hanbalis hold that circumcision of women is not obligatory but sunna, while Hanafis consider it a mere courtesy to the husband.)” — ‘Umdat al-Salik e4.3
Regional variances of the practice in Muslim communities depend just as much on the justification of the principle in Islamic law. Those who would defend “just a little” cutting as somehow more acceptable — including the American Academy of Pediatrics, with their approval of a “ritualized nick” (background and commentary here and here)– miss the point: Mutilation is mutilation, and must not be allowed to happen on U.S.soil. Period.

TIBETAN spiritual leader the Dalai Lama says he’s a Marxist, yet credits capitalism for bringing new freedoms to China, the communist country that exiled him.
“Still I am a Marxist,” the exiled Tibetan Buddhist leader said in New York, where he arrived today with an entourage of robed monks and a heavy security detail to give a series of paid public lectures.
“(Marxism has) moral ethics, whereas capitalism is only how to make profits,” the Dalai Lama, 74, said.
However, he credited China’s embrace of market economics for breaking communism’s grip over the world’s most populous country and forcing the ruling Communist Party to “represent all sorts of classes”.
“(Capitalism) brought a lot of positive to China. Millions of people’s living standards improved,” he said.
Those “moral ethics” of Marxism have only killed around 94 million people and impoverished millions.
It’s moral, if you have no understanding of history.
