Australian Conservative/thanks to Mullah

Islam is growing in Australia and the Newcastle Muslim Association has expressed a desire to build a mosque in the quiet hamlet of Elermore Vale in Newcastle.

Last March, the NMA announced their intention to purchase land at 158A & 164 Croudace Road, Elermore Vale for $1.3 million. The site is across the road from the Elermore Vale shopping centre which was purchased by an unknown investor about nine months ago. It is obvious the cashed up NMA buoyed by Saudi petrodollars has designs on Elermore Vale.

The Australian Protectionist Party has been active in and around Elermore Vale since March, highlighting the NMA’s proposal.

Muslim preaches at Oxford college chapel

No Christian or Jew is allowed to preach at the Oxford mosque.  In fact, the Oxford mosque blasts the Mohammedan war-cry “Allah  akbar”, (‘my god is greater than yours) over loudspeakers three times daily, to make sure everyone knows that this is now the land of Islam.  But this is just the prelude to submission and dhimmitude. The (Christian) sheeple are being nice in the hope that the Koranimals won’t be all that nasty when they take over.

TWO religious leaders are claiming an historic first after an Islamic Imam preached at a Christian chapel.

For the first time in Pembroke College’s 500-year history, a Muslim, Dr Taj Hargey – from the Summertown Islamic Congregation in Oxford – was welcomed to deliver a sermon at its chapel.

The service was preceded by the Adhan, the Muslim call to prayer traditionally carried out by a man, which was read out by an 11-year-old girl from Marston.

The Rev Dr Andrew Teal, of Pembroke College, said he had been trying to get a Muslim Imam to deliver a service at the chapel for many years and he believed it was a first.

Recently two prominent Eastern Catholic bishops have made statements that are not only curious and counter-factual, but apparently contradictory of their earlier statements, or at least not obviously emanating from the same point of view as those earlier remarks. Both cases are indicative of a larger phenomenon regarding the difficulties that Christians in Islamic countries and non-Muslims in Muslim countries in general face.

A few days ago I picked up this story from the JTA, claiming that an appeals court had removed the unindicted co-conspirator designation from CAIR and several other Hamas-linked groups. It turns out that the story was false.

We, the undersigned — consisting of four European blogs, one Canadian blog, and one American blog — have written this post jointly as a public call for our American colleagues to take up the cause of the Austrian feminist and anti-jihad activist Elisabeth Sabaditsch-Wolff.

Geert Wilders is well-known to most American conservative and libertarian bloggers, but Elisabeth’s case is not so prominent. Like Mr. Wilders, she faces trial for reporting factual information about Islam. Her “crime” was to conduct public seminars in which she described Islamic doctrine, quoted from the Koran, and explained to her listeners what she considers the dangers of Islam.

Rehab’s pretzel logic:

“when you call it a Muslim problem, you have a problem.  Because you are saying the problem exists because they are Muslim, therefore, its a Muslim problem. That’s incorrect logic. The problem is not that they’re Muslim, the problem is that these particular groups of people are extremists. Now those Muslims who are not extremists, they are not part of the Muslim problem, or are they?”

Investigative Project hits media bias against anti-jihadists (JW)

Bet’cha didn’t know  that we are “Anti-Muslim crusaders (who)  make millions spreading fear?”

Steve Emerson (pictured) of the Investigative Project was the subject of a nasty mainstream media hit piece in The Tennessean Sunday. Here, he sets the record straight — as is necessary, since this story is being picked up gleefully by all the mainstream media flacks for Islamic supremacism. One of the worst is TPM Muckraker, where pseudo-journalist/hardcore Leftist ideologue Rachel Slajda titles her version “Jihad Alarmism Proves Lucrative For Leading Anti-Muslim Advocate.”

Slajda interviewed me awhile back for a story on the stealth jihad, and also wrote a sneering but inaccurate piece on the Campbell’s halal soup controversy.

Slajda’s vicious piece on Emerson calls him a “self-proclaimed expert on Sharia law” and accuses him of “jihad alarmism.” So I wrote this to her this afternoon:

Rachel Slajda:I am working on an article about how Leftist “journalists” carry water for Islamic supremacists, and so given the perspective you’ve displayed in the article below and the others (Campbell’s Soup, the stealth jihad threat) that you have written about this topic, I wonder if you’d be so kind as to answer a few questions:

1. Where exactly did Steve Emerson proclaim himself an “expert on Sharia law”? [The IPT website says, accurately, that Emerson is “an internationally recognized expert on terrorism and national security.” It doesn’t say anything about Sharia.]

2. What investigations are you conducting into the funding sources and salaries of the leading figures of groups with links to Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood, such as CAIR, MPAC, ISNA, MAS, and NAIT?

3. On what basis have you determined that Steve Emerson’s work amounts to “alarmism” and not to amassing information about a genuine threat, of which Americans should be aware?

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) – Muslims live under dictatorship in America, said an African-American Muslim activist, ahead of a review of the US human rights records by the UN Human Rights Council.

In less than two weeks, the Human Rights Council will, for the first time ever, assess the human rights status of the United States in a Universal Periodic Review (UPR).

“We [Muslims] believe that it is our duty, it is our responsibility to stand up to what we call the US government’s ‘constitutional dictatorship’,” activist and Imam of Masjid al-Islam Abdul Alim Musa said on Monday.

“When we say a constitutional dictatorship, we mean that they have a constitution, but with all of the new anti-terrorism bills, patriot acts, all of the homeland securities, all of the FBI memos… all of these new charges that they operate on allow them to go around all of the constitutional guarantees [for human rights,]” he added.

It is not only the Muslims that are under pressure in the United States, as other minorities also suffer discrimination.

According to a UPR report provided by the US government, the unemployment rate for African-Americans is 15.8 percent and for Hispanics, 12.4, compared to only 8.8 percent for whites. A little less than half of African Americans and Hispanics own their homes, compared to three-quarters of the whites.

A man who talks about free speech and Islam gets banned from talking at a civic auditorium out of fear of angering muslims. You can’t make this stuff up, I wonder if the irony is lost on the managers of the auditorium or on muslims?

Organizers of an upcoming talk by conservative writer Mark Steyn planned for London, Ont., say they were muzzled by a local city-owned convention centre.
Strictly Right have found a larger — and more expensive — venue. Mr. Steyn will speak on Nov. 1 at London’s 1,600-seat Centennial Hall.

EDL Rally to Support Israel

Breaking News: Rabbi Unable to Speak at Speakers’ Corner (GoV)

The American Rabbi Nachum Shifren is visiting England to meet with members of the English Defence League and express his solidarity with the European resistance to Islamization. See this post at ICLA for a video of a BBC news report featuring Rabbi Shifren. The report describes (in that well-known snarky BBC tone) the growing transatlantic cooperation among groups opposing Islamization.

The English Defence League (EDL) has been meeting with Orthodox Rabbi Nachum Shifren this week ahead of today’s demonstration in support of Israel outside the Israeli embassy in London. This is part of the growing interaction between the EDL and the counter-jihad movement in the US that I enthusiastically support.

Rabbi Nachum Shifren is running for Senate in California. Atlas strongly endorses this candidate. Rabbi Shifren is an Orthodox Rabbi and California State Senate Candidate. Rabbi Shifren has received endorsement from the Jewish community in Los Angeles and  has been praised by organizations throughout the US for his steadfast support for the American Constitution and individual rights. He has built coalitions spanning all ethnic groups (Korean-Americans, African-Americans, Hispanics). The EDL has built similar coalitions.

Apparently illegal aliens aren’t pouring over the deliberately undefended border quickly enough, because Comrade Obama is importing more Democrat votes from abroad. Some of his most loyal supporters are from Muslim countries, so this should come as no surprise:

President Hussein Obama, in a determination letter to Congress, has announced that he will allow an additional 80,000 immigrants — mostly from Islamic countries — to resettle in the United States during fiscal year 2011.

Moonbat Quote of the Day

Mr. Obama says that the increase in Muslim immigrants “is justified by humanitarian concerns or is otherwise in the national interest.”

This certainly won’t serve the “national interest” by alleviating the stratospheric unemployment rate, but it will help Democrats’ chances at the polls, especially considering that with the Obama Administration’s boot on the neck of the economy, most of these new imports will probably end up living off welfare.

Importing Muslims isn’t a new idea for the Manchurian Moonbat. One of his first acts after taking control was to spend $20.3 million of our money to import Palestinians, who in turn can be counted on to import terrorism. What do you expect to happen when a country puts someone who hates it in control?
