A Swiss Politician demands that his government links  aid to Mohammedan countries to the free and unhindered practice of the Christian religion.

The mass-murder of  Christians in Islamic countries bothers him very much.

Christian OF Darbellays, president of the CVP (Christian-democratic people’s party), demands a linkage of development assistance with freedom of religion and Muslim protests against the Christian murders in Egypt.

20 minutes reports: Christian OF Darbellay demands his government act immediate  because of the increasing violence against Christians. People are  killed because of their faith, said Darbellay in “central Switzerland on Sunday” regarding the Christian murders in Egypt and Iraq. As a president of a C-party he cannot be silent any longer. Darbellay demands the protest of Muslim organizations in Switzerland.

“Otherwise they demonstrate very fast, if it concerns for example the Burka ban in France. If however Christians are killed by Islamist terrorists, one does not hear anything.”

Conditions for development assistance  must  also be considered.  It should be examined whether development assistance can be attached to the grant of the freedom of religion. The president of the security-political commission, Jakob Büchler (CVP),said  “we may not give financial support for countries that do not allow their Christian minorities to practice their religion unhindered .”

There the Muslim organizations are in uproar,  a good sign  that Darbellay landed a direct hit. Instead of rational arguments Darbellay cops insults left and right and around his ears:

“I regret it that Darbellay  abuses his political position  over religious minorities”, so to Farhad Afshar, president of the co-ordination of Islamic organizations. Darbellay is obviously “ignorant and lacks knowledge of Islam.”

This kind of hate speech only serves to heat up the Islamophobic  tendency in Switzerland.  Afshar complains that  cutting development aid  to Mohammedan countries  is  “inhuman.”

(Killing unbelievers  is, of course, not inhuman.  Being a good Muslim, Afshar believes that unbelievers are the vilest of creatures, and “killing unbelievers is a small matter for us…”)

“If we  attach political conditions to development assistance, we harm we the poorest  of the world.”

In the conservative Muslim nation, where the birth of children outside of marriage is condemned and adultery is a crime punishable by death under strict interpretations of Islamic law, infanticide is a crime on the rise.

More than 1,000 infants — most of them girls — were killed or abandoned to die in Pakistan last year according to conservative estimates by the Edhi Foundation, a charity working to reverse the grim trend.

I have just returned to London, where I have lived since I was 11. I have been away for four years, living as an ethnic minority in a monocultural part of the world, amassing a host of stories to tell to disbelieving friends. On the whole, I am glad to return. I shan’t miss some locals’ assumptions that, being a white woman, if I was outside after dark, as I occasionally was, usually to walk the few metres between my house and the church, I must be a prostitute eager to give them a blow job. I shan’t miss the abuse my priest husband received: the daubing of “Dirty white dogs” in red paint on the church door, the barrage of stones thrown at him by children shouting “Satan”. He was called a “f***ing white bastard” more than once, though, notably, never when in a cassock. I will also not miss the way our garden acted as the local rubbish dump, with items ranging from duvets and TV sets, to rats (dead or twitching) glued to cardboard strips, a popular local method of vermin control to stem the large numbers of them which scuttled between the rubbish piled in gardens and on pavements. Yes, I am very glad to have left Britain’s second city.

Muslims attend Friday prayers at the Birmingham Central Mosque in Britain: Three percent of the country’s population are Muslims, primarily from Pakistan and
Bangladesh. But nowhere else in Europe do so many Muslims live totally isolated
from the rest of society — in cities like Bradford, Dewsburg and Leicester.

For four years, we lived in inner-city Birmingham, in what has been a police no-go area for 20 years. We know that because some plain-clothed cops told us when they asked to use our vicarage as a stake-out to bust drugs rings that pervade the area. Having heard a parishioner’s tales of what his neighbours did to him when he was wrongfully suspected of having grassed up a cock-fighting ring, we refused, explaining that we had to live here, they didn’t. Even during this time we saw the area change. When we arrived, the population was predominantly Pakistani. Now Somalis are there in equal number. Most of the run-down Irish pubs were turned into mosques during our time.
