Amid Dispute Over Arrested American, State Department Requests $3.1 Billion in 2012 Aid for Pakistan

(CNSNews.com) – The Obama administration is asking Congress to approve $1.9 billion in military and economic aid to Pakistan in fiscal year 2012 and an additional $1.2 billion to boost its counterinsurgency capabilities along the border with Afghanistan.

The $1.9 billion is included in the State Department’s core budget request released Monday, while the latter figure comes from a separate “Overseas Contingency Operations” (OCO) category – the Obama administration’s preferred term for what its predecessor called the war on terrorism.

The 2012 OCO request seeks a total $8.7 billion to cover “extraordinary and temporary” costs of operations in the “frontline states” – Pakistan, Afghanistan and Iraq. (Source thanks to ZIP)

Controversy over shipwreck funerals

“This is a Government whose failed border protection policies have increased the cost of asylum seeker management by more than seven-fold in just the last three years,” he added.

“They need to understand the value of taxpayers’ dollars in this area.”

Mr Morrison says despite running the risk of being seen as heartless, he thinks the expense is unreasonable.

Twenty-one relatives of the asylum seekers who died in the incident last December received payments to attend funerals in Sydney. Mr Morrison was backed by Opposition Leader Tony Abbott, who said it was a fair point to question the spending, which was “curious”.

In a shocking, horrible video (here) posted to facebook, hordes of Western, modern-looking Muslims attack the Great Synagogue of Tunis to the chants of “Allahua Akbar!” and the genocial Islamic death chant:

“Khaybar Khaybar ya yahud, Jaish Muhammad saya’ud,” which means “Jews, remember Khyabar, the army of Mohammed is returning.” This cry relates to an event in the seventh century when Muslims massacred and expelled Jews from the town of Khaybar, in modern-day Arabia.

News of a prior attack on this synagogue had been wildly disputed, but one thing is certain: the media may be painting these violent uprisings as darling and quaint, but they are anything but. Islamic supremacism is being sold to an unwitting public.

It appears Comrade Obama is working in concert with his fawning acolytes in the liberal media to advance the preposterous concept that he is in some way similar to his antithesis, Ronald Reagan — aka the Gipper. Islamic flood coming to U.S.?

Israel National News recently reported that the Obama administration has decided to allow Islamic professor Tariq Ramadan to enter the United States. Ramadan, an Egyptian who currently lives in Switzerland, is a leading member of Europe’s Muslim Brotherhood branch and is the grandson of the movement’s founder. He was invited to teach at the University of Notre Dame in 2004, but the Bush administration revoked his visa because of donations he made to a blacklisted charity.

However, the Obama administration has now decided to lift the ban and possibly allow Ramadan and Adam Habib, another Muslim professor, onto U.S. soil.

“I’m sure you’ve heard many times that Washington, DC, is now flooded with Muslims in very high positions in the U.S. administration, and these Muslims already control the gates,” notes Avi Lipkin, an Israeli scholar and author who has traveled throughout the U.S. to warn Americans about the threat of Islam. “The floodgates are open. The Muslims are coming in in tremendous numbers into the U.S.”

But he warns that the floodgates will only get worse when illegal aliens gain their amnesty.

“What we will be seeing, I’m afraid, will be an amnesty for the illegal immigrants in America,” Lipkin laments. “Once the amnesty takes place for the Latin Americans, then they will get ready for the next wave of illegals, which will be the tens of millions of Muslims who are going to be flooding into the U.S., especially Egyptians and Palestinians.”

Gang Rape in Glasgow City Centre

A 22-year-old woman has been raped by three men in the south side of Glasgow. The men pushed her into Kingarth Lane and raped her before being disturbed by a passer-by. (BBC)

In this article here the suspects are described as of Middle Eastern appearance, in their early 20s, of average height and slim build.  The Police  Urged Women Not to Go Out on Their Own……..

the 24-year-old woman, who had been on a night out, was walking to a car on Wright Street when a group of about seven men approached them.  They verbally abused her before one of the men hit the victim to the face, knocking her to the floor.

Swiss vote to preserve private gun ownership
A country of fewer than eight million residents has nearly three million private firearms, maybe more. In Canada, the federal government estimates there are seven million guns for a population of 34 million.

A sign which reads “Destroying Swiss values? No to the useless guns initiative” is seen in Gonten. Switzerland, which has the highest rate of suicide by firearms in Europe, voted on Sunday whether to abolish its long-standing tradition of letting citizens keep army-issued weapons at home.

Switzerland may cherish its neutrality, but under that peaceful exterior lies a citizenry armed to the teeth. WoJ readers know that ‘interfaith dialogue’  with Muslims is never more than da’awa, Islamic proselytizing.  Since Islam is replacement and usurpation theology, other religions have become obsolete, abrogated.  The da’awa is needed to ‘invite’  the unbelievers to submit to Islam. But lately, thanks to the internet and a few fearless individuals, people are better informed and are coming out of hibernation, like here in Orange County:

“You’re messing with Americans now. We’re not England, we’re not British, we’re Americans,”

Interfaith Dialogue — FAIL

Here is another case of well-meaning non-Muslim religious people — in this case, Jews and Christians — attempting to “build bridges”, “enter into dialogue”, and “build trust” between Muslims and people of their own faith.

The outcome was predictable. No regular Gates of Vienna reader would be surprised by it. I don’t know whether or not it was a surprise to the Jewish leaders of Amsterdam — I’ll leave that to our Dutch readers to determine.

Sabby Dhalu, the joint secretary of Unite Against Fascism, called for Mr Sarrazin to be banned from the UK. “There is grotesque double standards in the implementation of bans on people entering Britain. There is no doubt that a known Muslim spouting similar views would be denied entry,” she said.

The Dispatches documentary, Lessons in Hatred and Violence, is due to air tonight and will show footage of a preacher making offensive remarks about Hindus and ranting: ‘Disbelievers are the worst creatures’.

But teachers at the school insist the undercover reporter captured an isolated incident where a 17-year-old senior student was talking to pupils.
