Carnival hit by “ethnic row over pictures”

A government office promoting ethnic diversity has pulled support from a multi-ethnic carnival over pictures it deemed offensive to Muslims – without apparently consulting Islamic groups.

The Office of Ethnic Affairs said “highly inappropriate” pictures on the website of the Auckland International Carnival, including scantily clad Cook Islands and Brazilian dancers, would upset Muslims and called for the office’s logo to be removed from promotional material.

The organisers say the order could cost them tens of thousands of dollars.

Over the past three years there have been over 35 incidents, and most of them have not been reported because of the influence that local landlords have in the areas, and the influence of local MPs. They hold police and judges in the palm of their hands; the roam freely after having killed or robbed. This issue requires special attention; otherwise this problem will become even more frequent. Christians are not safe, many are forced to convert to Islam to save themselves. Also, if the Ministry of minority groups is abolished, what will happen to minorities in Pakistan?”. (More)

The rapist wasn’t prosecuted, because according to Islamic law he hadn’t committed any crime. The ‘prophet’ Mohammed was a child-rapist, and Mohammed is the perfect man and role model for all Muslims. 12-year old exports 27 soldiers to the virgins, wounds 40

A ‘schoolboy’ suicide bomber killed at least 27 soldiers and injured 40 more in an attack on a inside a military base in Pakistan.

The boy, who is understood to be 12, was wearing his school uniform when he apparently wandered into the secure base and hit the parading troops, police said.

The incident happened in Mardan at a military recruitment centre in the north-west of the country which has been targeted by Islamist militants. Read more: Dailymail

The hearing was adjourned almost immediately when the 72-year-old preacher, who has refused to answer anything but his name to police during six months’ detention, complained he had not been given proper notice of the hearing.

“My lawyer said a court summons needed to be received three times 24 hours (three days) before the court hearing,” he told chief judge Herry Swantoro.

“Therefore I reject today’s hearing.”

According to The Telegraph, nearly 5,000 pupils are attending weekend schools across Britain, and are being exposed to textbooks claiming that some Jews were transformed into pigs and apes, and that some offences could be punished with stoning.

One book for six year-olds warns that those who do not believe in Islam will be condemned to “hellfire” in death.

Another text for 15 year-olds teaches that thieves who break Sharia law should have their hands cut off for a first offence and their feet amputated for a subsequent crime.

Teenagers are presented with diagrams showing where the cuts should be made.

Tonight’s Panorama on BBC One will claim that the books were discovered at a network of 40 private schools teaching the Saudi Arabian national curriculum.

The program claims to have uncovered evidence apparently linking the schools to the Saudi embassy. Officials at the embassy deny any link. (ANI)

All of this and more is mainstream Islam. Authorities are well aware of this as this incitement to hatred has  been going on for decades, which is scandalous, but nobody has ever had the guts to do anything about it.

To recap Obama’s foreign policy triumphs, he snubbed England, tried and failed to intimidate the little country of Honduras, picked a fight with Israel over some houses in Jerusalem, tried to budge China on its currency and got nowhere, got played by Russia on the START treaty and now helped overthrow a pro-American government in order to replace it with an anti-American government. It seemed impossible that anyone in the White House could ever top Carter– but Barack Hussein Obama has done it in only 2 years. What he will do in his remaining time doesn’t bear thinking about.

Even if the American people manage to drive him out of the White House in 2012, he will leave behind an ugly mess to clean up. American prestige is at its lowest point in history. Our allies don’t trust us. Our enemies are slapping us around. The United States was fortunate to have a Reagan to replace Carter, a strong leader who restored and burnished the nation’s standing. The situation wouldn’t have been salvaged nearly as well if Howard Baker or George H.W. Bush had won instead. A Republican who ran for the presidency in 2008 only had to carry on, but in 2012 he will have clean up duty. And there’s no telling how much he will have to clean up. We will need a strong leader who can think on his or her feet, and has the courage to make a clean break with the last 4 years.

The liberal fools who have been hailing the “democratic revolution” and the “fall of the dictator” will soon learn more about the true nature of Islam.

Now the real revolution begins.

Pray for Israel and pass the ammunition.

For us, and for Egypt, comes a highly dangerous and unstable period:

1. The extent of the implementation of Islamic law in the coming months and years. Obviously, the Muslim Brotherhood isn’t in the game for just a little Sharia.
2. The rights of non-Muslim religious minorities and the basic physical safety of the Copts, which was deplorable even under Mubarak.
3. The rights of women, and the practice of female genital mutilation, which is widespread in Egypt.
4. New Egyptian foreign policy and a new regime’s dealings with Hamas, Iran, Hizballah, Syria, and other jihadist regimes and organizations. Also, its relationship with northern Sudan, bent on its own renewal of Sharia.
5. The peace treaty with Israel.
6. The potential domino effect of uprisings in other Islamic countries.

Same clueless, mindless enthusiasm, as if an Islamic revolution was a good thing. Anyone who believes Egyptians will get ‘freedom & democracy’ out of this believes also that the moon is made of green cheese, Islam is peace and global warming the ‘biggest challenge of our time”.
