  3. Such a tragedy, that pipeline being blown up again. How lucky that Israel found their own gas and are no longer so reliant on Egyptian gas. Poor Jordan though is, 80% of their gas comes from Egypt and they generate all their electricity by gas. Poor Lebanon, they used to import a lot of their electricity from Jordon who for some reason just cut the supply. All I can say to the Muslim Brotherhood, keep up the good work.

  4. Oh dear Oh dear Oh dear. I have just been trying to check the electricity situation in Jordan and they are having a hard time, the poor things.

    In Beirut things are pretty grim, less than twelve hours a day, a lot worse in the rest of the country. It appears Syria also gets some of their gas from Egypt and those meanies, that nasty Assad won’t help his brothers in Lebanon, some lame excuse about being a bit short. Poor Jordan is spending an extra $3 million a day burning oil and the bad news there is that the electricity companies have run out of money.

  7. I’ve been running a series of articles on our blog about banning the burqa.

    This does not go far enough by any means. It’s time to ban every form of hijab and voluminous Islamic robes, on the grounds that this is a de facto uniform of enemy combatants (yes, including women, who may be wearing suicide belts).

    There is NO excuse for allowing ANY Muslims to set foot on the soil of ANY non-Muslim country, but that’s an argument for another day.
