Egyptians seem to have great hatred for Hamas  top dogs, who are closely associated with the  MuBro operatives in Egyptian prisons.
While the fighting is only expected to worsen the distress of the residents of Gaza, the Strip’s economic outlook for the Strip was never good. The unemployment rate in Gaza stood at approximately 40% before the latest conflict, with a similar proportion being classed as living under the poverty line.
But while most of the Gaza population tries to deal with the difficulties of daily life, it seems that one sector at least has had few worries about their livelihoods – Hamas leaders and their associates.
Hamas got rich as Gaza was plunged into poverty
With multi-million-dollar land deals, luxury villas and black market fuel from Egypt, Gaza’s rulers made billions while the rest of the population struggled with 38-percent poverty and 40-percent unemployment.
Israel has targeted senior Hamas leaders as it continued a week-long bombardment of the Gaza in which 205 people have been killed and more than 1,500 injured.
Attacks in Gaza killed at least seven Palestinians in the early hours of Wednesday, Gaza health officials told the Reuters news agency, and destroyed the house of Mahmoud Zahar, a Hamas political leader.
Tarek Fatah spills the beans re Muslim rage over Israel by quoting part of a sermon by a “prominent Pakistani cleric”:
“And a time is about to come when Allah would bestow such a success on Islam that there would not be a single Jew left on the face of the earth. … And when the last Jew will be killed from this world, then peace would be established in the world …”
Call it Islam’s “final solution” for the Jews, one that pre-dates that other one by many centuries:
However both Shi’ites and Sunnis share one particular detail about “the coming of the hour” and the dawning of messianic times: The Jews must all suffer a violent death, to the last one. Both Shi’ites and Sunnis quote the famous hadith [Sahih Muslim, Book 40, Number 6985] attributed to Muhammad: The last hour will not come unless the Muslims fight against the Jews, and the Muslims would kill them until the Jews hide themselves behind a stone or a tree and the stone or the tree would say: “Muslim! Servant of Allah! Here is a Jew behind me; come and kill him!”Not one Friday passes without this hadith being quoted in sermons from one side of the Islamic world to the other.
B-b-b-but I thought it was being quoted only by a lone cleric of note in Pakistan. 🙂
