Chattanooga gunman Muhammad Youssef Abdulazeez took several mysterious trips to the middle east before blogging about Allah and Islam in the days before his deadly gun attack, it has been revealed.

He has been described by classmates and former school coaches as an ‘All American’ student who came from a well-to-do family – but his behavior seemed to become more erratic and more religious.

It has been revealed the 24-year-old gunman, who shot and killed four Marines in Chattanooga, Tennessee, spent seven months on a visit to Jordan between April and November 2014. He is also believed to have visited Yemen, while the Kuwait News Agency reported he traveled there and to Jordan at least four other times between 2003 and Spring 2010.

Abdulazeez was also working as a nuclear engineer for FirstEnergy Corp in Ohio in 2013, but failed a background check, so was fired after training.

Authorities are now scrambling to find out if he spent any time with extremists on his travels, the Wall Street Journal reports. They are trawling though his seized cell phone and computer for proof of any radical contacts in the region.

DOJ Attorney William Killian Threatened Americans for Speaking Out Against Islam – Now Leads Chattanooga Jihad Investigation
What a corrupt swine!

In response to Killian being at the center of the investigation, Pamela Geller said, “How ironic that it is Bill Killian — who was the most reluctant official to speak at today’s press conference. William Killian is the Department of Justice official who vowed to criminalize social postings on Facebook and Twitter.”

“We held a protest against Mr. Killian, and thousands joined us here,” she added. “Killian should be removed from the case. He is incapable of conducting a sharia-free investigation.”

‘This attack raises several questions about whether he was directed by someone or whether there’s enough propaganda out there to motivate him to do this,’ an official told the New York Times.

FBI agent Ed Reinhold said investigators have ‘no idea’ what motivated the shooter, but ‘we are looking at every possible avenue, whether it was terrorism, whether it’s domestic, international, or whether it was a simple criminal act.’

However the head of the House Homeland Security Committee told a press conference he believed it was an ‘ISIS-inspired attack’.

Rep. Michael McCaul (R-Texas) told a press conference it had all the hallmarks of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS). He added: ‘The targets are identical to the targets called by ISIS to attack.’

Though he was born in Kuwait in 1990, Abdulazeez had Jordanian citizenship and became naturalized as an infant when his parents moved to the United States in 1996.

Despite being a practicing muslim, the engineering graduate turned amateur MMA fighter was seen smirking in an April mugshot after he was pulled over, with his car reportedly smelling of marijuana with white powder around his face.

He told cops he had crushed and snorted caffieine pills and refused to take a blood test. It was later forcefully taken through a warrant.

The final, chilling warning seemed to come three days before he stormed the two military sites, when he said ‘life is short and bitter’ and the time to submit to Allah ‘may pass you by’.

He was the All-American kid. They were your average Chattanooga family

Abdulazeez was a starter for the varsity wrestling team at Red Bank High School and would sometimes miss practices so he could pray and was reprimanded for losing too much weight when he fasted.

Despite his religious background, reports suggest he liked beer and played football while his former MMA coach Scott Schrader told CNN: ‘He was the All-American kid’.

‘There were tears in my eyes,’ Schraeder told CNN of the moment he heard the news. “He was one of the nicest kids we trained.’

Classmate Kagan Wagner told the broadcaster that Abdulazeez ‘always fit in’.

‘He had a big group of friends. He was never bullied or treated like an outcast. He was pretty popular,’ he said.

‘He was just a typical American kid in high school,’ Brad Benefield, Abdulazeez’s former teacher told ABC News. “He wasn’t a loner. He definitely wasn’t friends with the entire school, but he had his wrestling teammates, generally similar people. He was just a typical American kid in high school and I think that’s what can take us back a bit.’

His father was educated at Texas A&M University and works for Chattanooga’s Department of Public Works as a soil engineering specialist.

He was investigated in the 1990s over possible links to terrorism but ultimately cleared.

According to CNN, Abdulazeez Sr’s charitable donations were scrutinized by the Joint Terrorism Task Force. The FBI believed the middle eastern groups he was supporting had links to terrorism but ultimately dismissed the case.

They will now re-examine the evidence in light of the terror attack although there is no suggestion Abdulazeez’s father had any knowledge about his son’s plot. (More)

Below are a couple of videos.

I want you to watch them and as you do, understand what you are looking at.

For the Muslim, symbolism is the very foundation of its life.

Take for example the Ground Zero Mosque project in New York. This injurious and obscene little project, essentially Muslims spitting in the faces of the survivors and on the memory of the over 3000 murdered souls of the World Trade Center, was named the “Cordoba Project”. Why?……because Cordoba Spain is home to the largest Catholic cathedral that was turned into a mosque. This is the symbolism of the Muslim and its Islam.

Take the bombing of the WTC in New York. Why did planes fly into it on September 11, 2001? Because it was, in part, Muslim revenge for the crushing defeat the Muslims, the Ottoman Turks, suffered at the hands of Polish General Jan Sobieski’s soldiers outside the gates of the city of Vienna on September 11th and 12th in the year 1683.

Why are the tops of mosque minarets purposely built higher than any of the surrounding church or cathedral spires? Its the symbolism of superiority found in greater height.

Why do the Muslim females wear a hijab? Because although there is no commandment anywhere in the Koran or the Sunna and the Hadith for a Muslim female to wear a hijab it is worn to serve two purposes. The first is at the direction of male members of the Muslim family and serves to remind women, at all times and in all ways that they are subservient to men and the owned property of men. The second reason is a show of political force and superiority. It is worn to both identify and intimidate. In fact there is absolutely no difference between a hijab and the brown shirts worn by the Brown Shirts (Adolf Hitlers henchmen) as Hitler made his run for power in Germany. In fact, the hijab is no different than the swastika. This is why in the last 10 years there has been an explosion of Muslims wearing the hijab, its pure political aggression and an intimidating and murderously arrogant statement of superiority. Sooner than you think, you will be forced to bow your heads and step aside from the path of an oncoming hijabed Muslim.

Why were there less than 1000 mosques in the United States of America that were built between the 1600’s and the year 2000. Since the bombing of the WTC that number has increased to over 2100, an increase in excess of 74% in less than 12 years. The reasons are simple. The mosque is not a place of quiet reflection where the peaceful, humble, meek and mild Muslim sits in contemplative reflection on how he can achieve the betterment of all Mankind. Quite the opposite as the mosque is a symbol of political power, it is a beachhead for the Muslim wherever it is built. It is a place designed for the generation of funds for violent Jihad and the administrative, logistical and financial support, in any way the Muslim can, of that same violent Jihad .

Even something as simple as a courteous passerby greeting or the opening of a door or the holding of an elevator is viewed as subservient if the acts of courtesy are extended from a non-Muslim to a Muslim. The Muslim smugly interprets your courtesy as grovelling weakness and a sign that you are deferential to it.

    And now to outdoor prayer.

This is simply a show of force. This outdoor prayer as with the Muslim praying in airports, on airplanes, in restaurants, in movie theaters, all of it, is a show of force and superiority that is designed to coerce and intimidate. The Muslim knows this and takes great advantage of it knowing that the filthy non-Muslim becomes extremely nervous in the presence of praying Muslims, expecting, and reasonably so, an attack and an attempt at mass murder at any second. Again, its about superiority.

So, make no mistake. The Mullahs and Imams who organize these events know exactly what they are doing. These outdoor prayers are pure Islamic political ideology. They are designed to show the non-Muslim who their new masters are.

Welcome to the Caliphate and remember, its all about symbolism.

    Food for thought.

    Catalyst for action.

  2. He then went to the University of Tennessee to study electrical engineering and became a Mixed Martial Arts fighter

I dodnt know that an EE degree had an option for Mixed Martial Arts.

    1. @DP111

The Martial Arts training is simply a facet of his Jihad, preparation for combat against the non-Muslim

For the non-Muslim its a sport, a recreation, a form of physical fitness.
