Commission president Gillian Triggs’s delegate, Jodie Ball, has written to the newspaper’s lawyers to advise that allegations of racial hatred under the Racial Discrimination Act will be investigated.

At the very least, Bill could have expected a letter from the great Gillian herself. He should feel insulted.

The allegations are in a complaint by Melissa Dinnison over Leak’s August 4 cartoon, which prompted widespread commendation and criticism for its blunt portrayal of a crisis in Aboriginal parenting.

In the cartoon, an indigenous uniformed Northern Territory police officer presents an indigenous youth to his father in an outback setting and says to the father: “You’ll have to sit down and talk to your son about personal responsibility.” The indigenous father, who is holding a can of Victoria Bitter beer, replies: “Yeah righto, what’s his name then?”

Germany threatens Facebook with hate speech law

A senior German politician said on Friday that social media giants like Facebook should face penalties if they fail to tackle hate speech, after a surge in xenophobic comments linked to the migrant influx.

The threat from Volker Kauder, a key member of Chancellor Angela Merkel’s party, follows a similar warning by Justice Minister Heiko Maas, in a growing sign of German politicians’ frustration with such websites.

“The time for round-tables is over. I’ve run out of patience,” said Volker Kauder, chairman of the Christian Democratic Union’s parliamentary group.

Suddenly, the Temple Mount became Islamic….

We are not just dealing with fanatical zombies and psycho-killers. We are also dealing with savages that have no regard for reality, history or truth. And this latest UNESCO perfidy puts them in the same category.

The UN has been viciously anti-Israel for years. Now it is even certifying Islamic mythology and defying actual history. The Kotel is the largest single indication of the Jews’ long history in the land of Israel. It is no surprise, then, that Muslims would try to appropriate it. That they would have UN help is yet another indication that the UN is just an arm of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the US should withdraw from it.

The current Mufti of Jerusalem, Sheikh Muhammed Ahmad Hussein, declared on October 25, 2015, that the Al-Aqsa Mosque was a mosque built on the site “3,000 years ago, and 30,000 years ago… since the creation of the world.”

In a bizarre twist, soon after the arrests radical Muslim preacher Junaid Thorne appeared in the street and demanded police tell him, “Where are my brothers?”

Thorne, 27, is a known political radical who spent four months in Goulburn’s Supermax jail last year for trying to evade counter-terrorism authorities by flying from Perth to Sydney using a false name.

Meanwhile, Fairfax’s Sydney Morning Herald gives the thwarting of an alleged terror attack scant coverage on page 10.

But they did go to the effort of pixelating the picture of a suspect’s burqa-clad mother. No shiite. check it out. Here:

ABC’s fluff piece on Islamic hate preacher

The Mustard victim is a constant:

Isn’t the ABC making great use of the more than $1 billion in funding it receives each year from long suffering taxpayers?

When the bloated public broadcaster isn’t railing against democracy, it is conducting touchy-feely interviews with notorious Islamic hate preachers moaning about prison conditions.

What possessed the ABC to produce this overly sympathetic piece on radical preacher Junaid Thorne who has been a long term critic of Australian efforts to counter homegrown terrorism?

Thorne said the strict regime began from the moment a prisoner arrived at the prison.

“When I first arrived there, I was, you know, of course, you are strip-searched and you are humiliated,” he said.

Paris Under Invasion

Four police officers have been hurt in a notorious Paris suburb after their vehicle was pelted with of Molotov cocktails by over a dozen Mohammedans. Two of the police officers are in a serious condition in hospital. French President Hollande described the attack on police forces as an “unspeakable and intolerable act”…. and promised to do nothing about it.
But saying that France has a problem with Islam lands him in hot water, and brings out the usual suspects with their cacophony of victimhood and grievances. Here’s Hassina Mechaï who wonders if France has an issue with Islam, which is blameless:

“Hollande doesn’t preach social cohesion here. The elections are coming up, we are in the midst of the State of Emergency and threatened by terrorists, but the president blames it all on a religion whilst advocating for the live-together concept and reject prejudices,” she said.

UNESCO passes resolution declaring Temple Mount Muslim, not Jewish

Had UNESCO bothered to look, it could have found maps such as this one which establish the antiquity of the Jews’ claim to the land of Israel. (FYI to UNESCO deniers who are slow on the uptake:

The UN has been long against Israel and proved it in a virulent way in Durban I, right before 9/11; since then, it has continued working toward the ultimate goal of delegitimizing Israel and ultimately destroying it, which is, of course, also the dream of jihadists.

UNESCO has now passed an expected anti-Israel resolution which denies “Jewish connections to the Temple Mount and Western Wall in Jerusalem,” despite abundant archeological evidence proving Israel’s connection to Jerusalem.

24 UNESCO member states voted in favor of the resolution, 26 abstained, and only six countries voted against.

Donald Trump weighed in, declaring that the resolution is a:

“one-sided attempt to ignore Israel’s 3,000-year bond to its capital city” and “further evidence of the enormous anti-Israel bias” at the United Nations.

Trump further stated that:

under his potential administration, “the United States will recognize Jerusalem as the one true capital of Israel” and that “Israel will have a true, loyal, and lasting friend in the United States of America.”

Christianity is also a priority on the hit list of jihadists, with a similar impulse to erase all the traces of the conquered religion. Back in 2012, Saudi Arabia’s highest Islamic authority said: “No Christian churches should be allowed in the Arabian Peninsula.”

“Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah, the Saudi grand mufti, said it is “necessary to destroy all the churches in the region.”

Abdullah further “cited an Islamic hadith quoting the prophet Mohammed on his deathbed, who said, ‘there are not to be two religions in the [Arabian] Peninsula,’ meaning only Islam can exist there.”

The Islamic State group has crushed a rebellion plot in its stronghold city of Mosul in Iraq, Reuters reported Friday.

The conspiracy was reportedly lead by one of Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi’s own aides, who along with 57 others, were executed for treason. The accused were drowned and their bodies dumped in a mass grave located somewhere in the barren outskirts of the city. The militants also known as ISIS responded to inquiries by family members regarding the whereabouts of their loved ones by refusing to provide any details except for a list of names of the “apostates” and indicating that they could not be buried in Muslim cemeteries.

Hard to reconcile their “sense of validity” when sharia law accords ’em second class status and when their menfolk are given leave to administer a physical punishment should a wife hesitate to follow her husband’s orders.

And instead of convening a get-together of female parliamentarians, why don’t they delve into the “narrative” of the Quran and other holy texts, from whence the call for violent jihad–and the example of Islam’s founder, the faith’s first holy warrior–springs?

Any “antidote to DAESH” must surely start with that. (Scaramouche)

The Jihad Against Greece: Refugees or an Occupation Army?

The migrants were ready to wage jihad because they believed a rumor about an event for which, even had it been true, the Greek State and its inhabitants had no responsibility.
The establishment in Greece is a miniature of the American establishment: politicians and institutions of government corrupted to the bones.
We Greeks have already been crushed by Islam, by the twentieth century genocide in Turkey and the more recent Turkish occupation of Cyprus, again with the world’s complicity.
What is happening in Greece, as in much of Europe, is actually a massive replacement of its population, its values and its way of life.
The mainstream political parties obey the self-destructive EU policies on immigration that could eventually cause the end of the Hellenic-Judeo-Christian values of Europe, such as individual freedom, critical thinking and dispassionate inquiry.

What does an occupation army do when it is installed in a country? It occupies the land, forcing residents to follow its own way of life. It implements measures against the country’s inhabitants, it propagandizes its beliefs and uses force to have them imposed.

This, sadly, is what has been happening in Greece from the migrants who seem to “forget” that they are hosted in Greece and force the Greeks to feel like guests in their own country.

If someone is a war refugee or his life is in danger in his homeland, it would seem appropriate, when he arrives in the country which offers him asylum, to be grateful to this country, respect its history, its people its values and its laws. The same would hold true for an immigrant who wants to go to a country where he hopes he will find a better future.

Romania: Lawsuit Launched to Stop Bucharest Mega-Mosque

The original deal called for a “mutual exchange” in which Romania would build a new Orthodox Church in Istanbul, while Turkey would build the mosque in Bucharest. In July 2015, however, Prime Minister Victor Ponta revealed that the Romanian government had abandoned the Istanbul church project because it is “not allowed under Turkish law.” Ponta approved the Bucharest mosque project anyway, saying it was a multicultural symbol of Romania’s acceptance of the Muslim community.
Ponta’s decision to approve the mosque, which will mimic Ottoman-era architecture, was greeted with outrage in a country that was under Ottoman Turkish domination for nearly five centuries until 1877.
“This plan is not about worship, it is about marking the territory of their authority through a monument.” – Ozgur Kazim Kivanc, a Turkish activist opposed to Erdoğan’s destruction of public commons to build mosques.
“Once Islam enters a land, that land becomes Islamic and Muslims have the duty to liberate it someday. Spain, for example, is Islamic land, and so is Eastern Europe: Romania, Albania, Macedonia, Serbia, Kosovo and Bosnia…” – Omar Bakri Muhammad, a prominent Sunni Islamist cleric.
“We consider the disposal of free land which, ironically, belonged to the family of Prince Constantin Brâncoveanu, who was beheaded by the Turks on August 15, 1714, to be a betrayal of the Romanian people.” – Pending lawsuit calling on the court to annul the government’s grant of free city land for the mosque project.

Opponents of a proposed Turkish mega-mosque in Romania’s capital, Bucharest, have filed a lawsuit against the government in an effort to halt the project. The court is set to begin hearing the case on October 14.

The lawsuit seeks to reverse a June 2015 decision by the Romanian prime minister at the time, Victor Ponta, to approve construction of what could become the largest mosque in Eastern Europe — second only to the Blue Mosque in Istanbul — on a large tract of city-owned land in northern Bucharest.

The property, valued at more than four million euros ($4.4 million), is being provided for free by the Romanian government, while the construction costs, estimated at three million euros ($3.3 million), are being paid for by Turkey.

What I care about more than anything else is freedom of thought. It is criminalized by the Koran.
My goal is to warn the French people. The day when France will be a Muslim country, it will be almost impossible to back out…. Wherever there is Islam, there are only conflicts of cultures, women who feel guilty for being attractive and who are infantilized and abused; and above all, a continual extinction of creativity and imagination.
A majority of French Muslims may well declare themselves peaceful, but Islam is the cultural common denominator of all the Frenchmen who have told me that the Charlie Hebdo cartoonists murdered during the massacre of January 7, 2015, “had it coming to them.”
I prefer the individualism of intellectual ideals and moral values of modern Western civilization to the Islamic “big-brotherian” system that criminalizes liberties.
No matter what the Muslims of France—torn between the Western cultural codes and the Koran—say, the majority of Muslims feel closer to an Islamist Muslim who wants to stick to the letter of the laws of the Koran than they do to a non-Muslim who ignores the Koran.
France, and other countries in the West, are increasingly the victim of a cruel twist of irony in which their own founding values and principles are turned against them.
The French politicians who currently govern us have no interest in recognizing or solving these rifts.
I have no desire to make political compromises with Islamist politicians who worship a pro-slavery and misogynist book that criminalizes freedom of belief.

Majid Oukacha is a young French essayist who was born and grew up in a France which he recognizes less every year. “A former Muslim but an eternal patriot,” as he sometimes likes to describe himself, he is the author of Il était une foi, l’islam… (literally “Once upon a time Islam…”, the French title of a book soon to be released in English under a different title), a systematic critique, without value judgments, of the most inconsistent and imprecise Koranic laws.

Majid Oukacha: Like all Frenchmen who were born and grew up in France in the late twentieth century, I am fortunate to belong to a peaceful nation that allowed me to enjoy rights and freedoms for which I never personally had to fight. My parents, French citizens of Algerian origin and Muslim persuasion, provided me with a religious education, which destined me to remain a devout Muslim. They also gave me a civic, social and ethical education based on respect for France and its values, as embodied in its motto, “liberty, equality, fraternity.”
