Professor Miklós Maróth is a leading Hungarian conservative thinker. He is a university professor, a classical scholar, a scholar of Oriental studies, a member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, and the first dean of Matthias Corvinus Collegium, Hungary.
In 2007 he was elected president of the Union Académique Internationale. He is an editor of Acta Antiqua Academiae Scientiarum Hungaricae and specializes in the research of the ancient Greek and Oriental philosophy. He has published several Syrian scripts of the Berlin Turfan-Collection, and is renowned for solving many debated scientific issues of the historical geography of Central Asia.
For his achievements, the Government of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán awarded him with the highly respected National Széchenyi Prize in 2016, and he is the holder of numerous other scientific and state awards.
He has authored books on Islam and political theory and stands up against the ongoing Islamic conquest of the West and Europe.

At least 13,000 people [the latest figures range from 15,000 to 50,000] attended a rally in Paris on Sunday to protest against what they say is a crime wave targeting the Chinese community in France, police said, after a Chinese textile designer died after being mugged last month.
Demonstrators waving French flags and sporting T-shirts printed with the slogans “Stop violence, muggings, insecurity” or “Equality for all, security for all” marched from the Place de Republique square to the Bastille in eastern Paris, asking for more police protection.

THE alleged “tinny terrorists” will fight foreign incursion charges after they were arrested trying to leave Australia allegedly to join extremist groups overseas.
The defendants will be provided with “special computers” in their cells loaded with the brief of evidence against them.
Some of the six charged men signalled they will fight the charges at a committal mention next year.
The legal defence for all six men is being funded by Legal Aid.
Robert Cerantonio, Shayden Thorne, Kadir Kaya, Paul Dacre and Anthony Granata were arrested north of Cairns this year towing a fishing boat to Cape York.
It is alleged they planned to sail the boat from Cape York to nearby islands.

The prosecution also allege they planned to island hop from Papua New Guinea into the Philippines and use smuggling routes to then take them to the Middle East.
A sixth man Murat Kaya was arrested at a later date in Melbourne.
The court heard that there were more than 100 witnesses in the case.

The prosecution case will also feature wire taps from phone calls and data intercepts of websites the accused men accessed.
Robert Stary acting for Mr Cerantonio said all six cases were funded by legal aid, but that the organisation did not provide the significant resources required to go through the brief of evidence.
He also complained his client was initially only given two-hours-a-week on a computer to review the voluminous brief of evidence.
He said Corrections and the joint counter-terrorism team had now made special arrangements for their clients to have access to a computer in their cell, with only the brief of evidence loaded into it.
Charlie Rozencwajg said it was a poor situation that Legal Aid would not properly fund the case.
He adjourned the case until February next year for a committal mention.
He also booked a five day committal hearing for May next year.
Two of the men were not represented during the hearing.

ISLAMIC State has named Australia as one of five main targets for terrorist attacks, calling for “stab the crusader” to be a “battle cry” for its supporters around the world.
The group released the latest edition of Dabiq — its official magazine — early this morning, which featured calls for worldwide action against the “crusaders”, as it has dubbed the US-led coalition committed to tackling Islamic State through military action.
The release of the magazine followed last month’s speech by the group’s official spokesman, Abu Muhammad al-Adnani, in which the first public calls for attacks in specific countries were made.
All terrorist attacks should clearly be attributable to “patrons” of Islamic State so they cannot be described by media as “random killings”, the new article said.
“It is very important that attacks take place in every country that has entered into the alliance against the Islamic State, especially the US, UK, France, Australia and Germany,” an article in the magazine said.
“Every Muslim should get out of his house, find a crusader, and kill him.
“It is important that the killing becomes attributed to patrons of the Islamic State who have obeyed its leadership … otherwise, crusader media makes such attacks appear to be random killings.”
The article contained warnings not to include too many people in the planning of the attack, and to not over-analyse plans to the point they are aborted.
Secrecy should be followed when planning and executing any attack. The smaller the numbers of those involved and the less the discussion beforehand, the more likely it will be carried out without problems,” it said.
“One should not complicate the attacks by involving other parties, purchasing complex materials, or communicating with weak-hearted individuals.
“‘Rely upon Allah and stab the crusader’ should be the battle cry for all Islamic State patrons.”
The group also admitted to “enslaving” women and children from the Iraq-based religious group, the Yazidis, in another article.
The targeting of the Yazidis helped spur US president Barack Obama to plan military action against the Islamic State, which controls large swathes of Syria and Iraq.

THE UN human rights chief launched a scathing attack on populist politicians like Donald Trump and Dutch far-right leader Geert Wilders, calling for action to halt such “demagogues and political fantasists”.
Speaking in The Hague, UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein said he was a Muslim whose role was “to defend and promote the human rights of each individual, everywhere”.
He never will. He seeks the supremacy of Islam. Everything else would be unislamic.
“And I am angry, too. Because of Mr Wilder’s lies and half-truths, manipulations and (the) peddling of fear,” Zeid told the inauguration of The Hague-based Peace, Justice and Security Foundation.
Be specific, punk. Be specific. Don’t generalise. Prove them wrong. But you can’t. Because its you who tells the lies and the half-truths. You are the manipulator. And we fear the next attack. Now go back and smoke your hookah or beat one of your wives!
Last month, Wilders’ Freedom Party (PVV) launched its campaign platform ahead of March elections vowing to “close mosques, Islamic schools and ban the Koran” if elected.
The PVV, which has been leading in opinion polls, also vowed to reverse the “Islamisation” of The Netherlands by closing the borders, shutting asylum seeker centres, banning migrants from Muslim countries and stopping Muslim women from wearing the headscarf.
Zeid slammed the PVV’s proposals and said Wilders had much in common with US Republican presidential hopeful Trump, Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orban, France’s leader of the National Front Marine Le Pen, and leading Brexit campaigner Nigel Farage.

He also said they had similarities to the ideology espoused by the Islamic State group.
Wilders, Farage and Trump are not beheading people and do not rape captive women. There are no similarities.
“All seek in varying degrees to recover a past, halcyon and so pure in form, where sunlit fields are settled by peoples united by ethnicity or religion,” Zeid told prominent members of the justice community here.
“A past that most certainly, in reality, did not exist anywhere, ever.”

Promises to recover such a past were “fiction; its merchants are cheats. Clever cheats,” he added, accusing populist leaders of using “half-truths and oversimplification” to feed the fears of “anxious” individuals.

It was a simple formula “to make your target audience feel good by offering up what is a fantasy to them, but a horrendous injustice to others.”
We are concerned about Mohammedan injustice towards unbelievers, not the other way around.

But the jihadists’ methods of communication were “similar tactics to those of the populists”, with both groups benefiting from the other to survive, he added.

“We must pull back from this trajectory,” Zeid warned, adding that there was a risk “the atmosphere will become thick with hate” which could “descend rapidly into colossal violence.” Urging people to speak out and “draw the line”, he asked “are we going to continue to stand by and watch this banalisation of bigotry?”
“We?” There is no ‘we’. There is Islam and there is us. Islam divided the world, not us. Deal with it, prince.
Reacting to Zeid’s speech, Wilders in a text message to AFP retorted that the Jordanian prince was “an utter fool.”
“Another good reason to get rid of the UN,” said the populist politician known for his peroxide bouffant hairdo, calling again for the world to “de-Islamise”.
“Islam and freedom are incompatible whatever this Jordanian bureaucrat says,” Wilders said.

Free Speech Defense and Jihad Watch have accused Google of skewing their search results to promote a post from the Islamic Supreme Council defending Jihad as a “misunderstood concept” when searching for “jihad.”
In their claims, they detail that when searching for the word “Jihad,” the Islamic Supreme Council’s article appears directly below the Wikipedia definition at the top of nearly 32 million results, despite having a global Alexa rating of just 567,527.

Clever. So now they’re trying to get sharia judges into the judiciary to legalise the sharia. The hide of these people is something to behold.
This was tried here in Australia years ago. The Islamic Council tried to sneak sharia into the courts using the need to “protect” Muslim women who wanted a divorce. Luckily the government didn’t buy it. (Thanks to Penny)
