Qatar-Owned Al Jazeera Marks LGBT Pride Month, Ignores Qatar’s Repressive Policies
Al Jazeera over the weekend marked the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Pride Month in June, although the news channel’s owner Qatar is one of several Muslim-majority countries where the act of homosexuality may be punished by death or life in prison under an interpretation of sharia law.
Veterans only get one day of recognition each year whereas gay people get an entire month.
I think that’s insane.
Since when did sleeping with the same sex become a bigger deal than the people who risked their lives for our freedom?
Ramadan is over, but the killing continues:
100 Sudanese killed reports
@AlJazeera. The Arab Janjaweed who carried out the Darfur Genocide in 2005 make an appearance on the streets of Khartoum dumping corpses in the Nile to hide their atrocities. 40 bodies recovered so far.
Sudan: Security forces ‘hiding corpses’ of protesters dumped in the Nile and ‘raping doctors’ amid brutal crackdown
It was a massacre, we couldn’t count the dead people
This year’s Ramadan Bombathon included the murder of a Muslim
shopkeeper in Sri Lanka during riots that followed the Islamic State
Easter Day slaughter of 258 at churches and hotels (prior to Ramadan).
Of course, this was dwarfed in typical fashion by the Religion
of Peace, which, during its holiest month, inspired terror
attacks in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, CAR, Chad,
DRC, Egypt, France, India, Iran, Iraq, , Israel, Kenya, Lebanon,
Libya, Mali, Mozambique, Niger, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines,
Somalia, Syria, Tajikistan, Thailand, and Yemen.
