The al-Aqsa mosque was never the site of a Jewish temple, Sheikh Raed Salah, the head of the Islamic Movement’s northern branch, said Monday during a press conference he convened in Jerusalem to respond to voices calling for the expulsion of Israeli residents of the city who participate in terror activities against Israel.

He went on to deny any Israeli or Jewish historical claim to the city, denying that there ever existed a Jewish temple on the Temple Mount.

During his sermon in Jerusalem’s Wadi Joz neighborhood on February 16 of last year, Salah urged supporters to start a third intifada in order to “save al-Aksa Mosque, free Jerusalem and end the occupation.”

Salah’s speech also attacked Jews, saying, “They want to build their temple at a time when our blood is on their clothes, on their doorsteps, in their food and in their drinks. Our blood has passed from one ‘general terrorist’ to another ‘general terrorist.'”

In the Rudd Government’s first statement on Muslims, Parliamentary Secretary for Multicultural Affairs Laurie Ferguson told The Australian yesterday it was time to tackle the myths surrounding Islam, arguing religious leaders were not representative of the mainstream Muslim community.

“We can’t prescribe how the Islamic community is to organise itself,” Mr Ferguson said. “But we certainly must make sure that the fact there are international tensions and terrorist issues doesn’t kind of stereotype the whole community in Australia.

“A lot of it is about symbolism; it’s about who gets promoted and who gets identified and who gets an option to be seen by Australian society.

“Australia has produced (Muslim) academics, business types, sporting types and it’s often not celebrated enough.”

The lead paragraph here says that the soldiers are “building bridges in Afghanistan.” The bedrock assumption here is that the Afghans who come to worship in the mosque will see that the British built it and think, “Say, they aren’t so bad after all.”

And probably some will. But this assumption completely fails to take into account the fact that at least some of the people who go to the mosque, if not a majority, will see this act through the prism of a Qur’anic understanding: “And the Jews will not be pleased with thee, nor will the Christians, till thou follow their creed,” (2:120), so the building of the mosque is just a strategem to that larger end, and the British should still be regarded with suspicion. The jihad ideology and Islamic supremacism, unchallenged, remain in place.

The Iraqi army ordered local residents living close to the mosque in Nuab al-Dubat to keep away while it blew up the mosque, the witnesses said.

Security officials told the Voices of Iraq news agency that the destruction of the mosque came after troops found weapons and explosives there.

The leader of the party, Yusif Sinawi, had been arrested in April following clashes between security forces and his guards. He has allegedly been involved in paramilitary activities, killings and abductions in Basra.

Thaarallah was established in 2005 as a local party operating mainly in Basra, 550 kilometres south of Iraq.

The terror network is recruiting computer-savvy technicians to produce sophisticated Web documentaries and multimedia products aimed at audiences in the United States, Britain and other Western countries.

Already, the terror movement’s Al Sahab production company is turning out high quality material, some of which rivals productions by Western media companies. The documentaries appear regularly on Islamist websites, which Al Qaida uses to recruit followers and rally its supporters.

That requires people whose skills go beyond planting bombs and ambushing American patrols in Iraq and Afghanistan.

“The Al Qaida men who are coming today are not farmers, illiterate people,” said Qari Mohammad Yousuf, an Afghan and self-declared Al Sahab cameraman. “They are Ph.D.s, professors who know about this technology. Day by day they are coming. Al Qaida has asked them to come.”

LONDON, June 23 — London needs another 2,000 Muslim police officers, Britain’s most senior police officer said Thursday.

KOTA BHARU, Malaysia: Malaysia’s Islamic party made huge strides in weekend elections, by putting on a moderate face and dropping fundamentalist rhetoric that had alienated voters, analysts said Sunday.

The Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS) made a remarkable recovery after 2004 polls when its calls for an Islamic state to be imposed in the multicultural country were soundly rejected by Muslim Malays and minorities alike.

The conservative party of Muslim scholars absorbed that painful lesson, shifting away from its fire-and-brimstone rhetoric and even reaching out to Malaysia’s ethnic Chinese and Indian minorities.

It was rewarded with a big win in its heartland of Kelantan state which it had held by a slim majority, and is expected to join opposition alliances to rule three of the four states wrested from the Barisan Nasional coalition.

It also claimed 23 seats in the national parliament, from just six before.

“There was a big shift in PAS’s attitude by dropping any mention of plans to set up an Islamic state,” said political analyst Shahruddin Badaruddin.

“Instead it concentrated on the idea of a compassionate and welfare-like state,” he told AFP.

The object of Hijaab is not to just don the veil and parade the shopping malls and shows where there is intermingling of sexes. Wearing the veil is not a license for coming out of the house as it is misunderstood, but only under extreme necessity if a woman has to come out of her house, then she must don the Hijaab (veil) and under this context does this Aayat fit, i.e. O Nabi (Sallallaahu Alayhi Wasallam)! Instruct your wives, your daughters an the believing women to draw over them their outer garment (veils).’ Otherwise, the law for a woman is she has to remain indoors as we have quoted the Aayat previously, ‘remain indoors’.

What we have understood, thus far, is that a woman must remain indoors at all times, and only due to extreme necessity she is allowed to come out of her house, donning the veil.

What is worse is that today the women adopt al-Tabarruj (i.e. exposure) when they come out. And majority of the time when they come out of their houses, it is without necessity. In doing so, they are going againt the book of Allah in many ways, a) They are coming of their houses without necessity where as the Qur’aan commands them to remain indoors (as we have mentioned earlier), b) They are exposing their faces whereas the Qur’aan has commanded them to draw their veils (as mentioned earlier) and Allah Ta’ala and says in the Qur’aan, ‘and abstain from al-Tabarruj (exposure).

Imam Qurtubi (RA) mentions the meaning of al-Tabarruj after gathering all the views of the previous commentators of the Qur’aan. He says, in short, al-Tabarruj means a woman exposing her beauties to men. (Tafseer al-Qurtubi vol.14 pg.175; Cairo)

It is a well-known fact that from all the beauties of a woman, her face is the greatest. So, Allah is commanding her not to expose her face more seriously. So, if a woman does not don the veil when she comes out of the house (even when it is extremely necessary), she will be grossly disobeying the command of Allah Ta’ala and thereby earning the displeasure of Allah. What a greater can there be in disobeying the command of Allah that earning his displeasure! Earning the displeasure of Allah is worst thing a person can ever earn as this will lead to his destruction.

May Allah Ta’ala give us all the ability to understand the reality of Hijaab and observe it according to its requisites.

Gang ‘plotted attack on Olympics’

Suspected militants arrested in western China earlier this year were planning attacks on the Beijing Olympics, a Chinese official says.
Two people were reported to have been killed and 15 arrested in a raid on 27 January in Urumqi, Xinjiang province.

Officials now say their aim was to attack the August Olympics.

The alleged plot was disclosed as officials also revealed that a plane crew prevented an apparent attempt to crash a jet on an internal flight.

The flight also originated in Urumqi, and was bound for Beijing.

The China Southern Airlines plane landed safely despite an attempt “to create an air disaster”, said Xinjiang Governor Nur Bekri.

He gave few details about the alleged attack.

“Who the people involved in the incident were, where they were from, what their aim was and what their background was, we are now investigating,” he said.

But he said there was “an attempt to crash the plane”, and that the crew responded and brought the plane to an emergency landing in the city of Lanzhou, in neighbouring Gansu province, with no damage or injuries.

Reuters quoted an anonymous source saying inflammable material was found in the plane’s toilet, and that at least two passengers on the flight were taken into custody.

There was no confirmation of this.

Mr Bekri was speaking on the sidelines of the annual session of parliament in Beijing.

At the same event, the boss of the Communist Party in Xianjing, Wang Lequan, said January’s raid in Urumqi had thwarted a plot to attack the Olympics.

“Their aim was very clear,” he said. “Specifically to sabotage the staging of the Beijing Olympics.”

“Those terrorists, saboteurs and secessionists are to be battered resolutely, no matter what ethnic group they are from,” said Mr Wang.

China has been struggling for years to contain separatist sentiment among the Uighur minority in Xinjiang.

Some Uighurs have campaigned for the mainly Muslim province to become an independent republic.

The Xinjiang governor, himself an ethnic Uighur, said only a “very small number of people” in the region support the separatists.

“They don’t represent the Uighur people,” he added.

The home secretary concluded that Feiglin should be “excluded” from the UK on the grounds that his presence “would not be conducive to the public good.”

Dozens of children are missing from school amid fears they have been forced into arranged marriages, it was revealed yesterday.
In Bradford, 33 children remain “unaccounted for” after being off school for at least two months with no explanation.

The Government is also concerned about another 14 areas of the country where it is feared children under 16 could also be missing from school rolls.

‘Male’ Honor Murders

While more western societies are waking up to the harsh and brutal reality of honor killings perpetrated against Muslim girls and women living in their midst, less attention has been paid to the fact that males are also subjected to this horrific and savage custom. This is probably because the numbers of men killed for reasons of “honor” are not nearly as high as those for Muslim women, about 48 of whom have perished in Germany alone between 1996 and 2006.

As well, some of the murdered males are also not Muslim and not from the Middle East or any Muslim country for that matter. These victims are sometimes killed for racial and/or religious reasons, which the liberal media do not like to report, let alone admit. In their eyes, only native European cultures can be racist and never the ethnic minorities.

The massive Israeli operation into the Gaza Strip to combat Hamas rocket fire was curtailed this week after the personal intervention of US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, the JC has learned.

“Rice came and told us that we had to stop the operation in Gaza,” an Israeli government minister told the JC on Wednesday. “Today’s cabinet decision [instructing the army to present plans to eradicate definitively the missile threat from Gaza] is meaningless and was made only for public consumption.”

Racism in the Politically Correct British Media

Asian – Tera Patrick

There is a group of people in Britain who have distinguished themselves by setting off bombs in subways, preaching hatred of Infidels in Mosques, and carrying placards in the streets calling for a “real Holocaust” against Jews.

The media calls these people “Asians”.

In other words, the media uses a racial classification to name a group of people who are

1) driven by ideology, not race

and

2) more time than not, NOT ASIAN.

Arabs are not Asians. Persians are not Asians. Turks are not Asians. Africans are not Asians. Albanians are not Asians.

By the way, in case you didn’t know (and I know I am not being “politically correct” here) these people who do all the “bad” things are called

MUSLIMS.

Most Muslims in this world are not Pakistani, Malaysian, or Indonesian.

Most Muslims in the world are not Asian in even the broadest sense of the word Asian.

And, really race is beside the point.

I can not think of anything more racist than to blame Jihadi violence, which is driven by the ideology of the Koran, and various Islamist groups (Muslim Brotherhood, Wahabbism, Hizbollah, Hamas, etc.) on Asians.

And yet, it is the politically correct media (who believe that they are above racism) who are blaming the Asians for the violence.

What is truly amazing is that the very reason these PC media types blame “Asians” is exactly because they don’t want to blame Islam. And, the reason they don’t want to blame Islam is because they don’t think it is fair.

And yet, it is the height of fairnes to criticize an ideology. Ideas are mental constructs created freely out of the minds of men. Ideas are not born in people, as are racial attributes. When a new idea is proposed, fairness dictates that the idea be tested through the process of critical analysis, to ensure that the idea is sound and will work for the greater good of people.

However, it is not fair to blame a race of people for the bad deeds done in the name of an ideology, even if most of the people who adhere to an ideology are of a certain race.

The PC Media, under the guise of fairness, are blaming the misdeeds of ideologically-driven people on a group of people designated by their racial characteristics.

That is racism.

Can you imagine how Chinese people, Indians, Japanese and Filipinos feel about that?
