The persecution of Dr Mark Hobart by the Victorian Department of Health is hardly surprising. Throughout the pandemic he has done everything in his power to protect the health of his patients. He provides vital early Covid treatment, including ivermectin — until it was banned. He wrote to the Victorian chief health officer to protect his elderly patients in nursing homes who had infection-acquired immunity to Sars-Cov-2 from being vaccinated as there is well-documented evidence that it greatly increases the risk of adverse reactions. Yet last week he was raided by seven ‘authorised officers’, people employed under Victoria’s sweeping pandemic powers to enforce the state’s ‘health’ diktats. They arrived without warning or warrants and seized his confidential patient files. Dr Hobart lost his application to maintain the privacy of the files and may also lose his licence to practice. Why? Because he has been accused of issuing ‘false vaccine exemptions’ and the judge who heard his case believes that unvaccinated people pose a risk to the health of the Victorian community. Nothing could be further from the truth.
The latest data from the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) shows that the double-vaccinated are getting infected at a much greater rate than the unvaccinated. For everyone over 30, vaccines have negative efficacy of between -9 per cent in those 80 years or older to -126 per cent in those aged 40 to 49 years. Thus, in the four weeks to 1 November, there were under 80,000 infections in the unvaccinated aged over 18 years, while there were more than 450,000 infections in double vaccinated people in the same age group.

It is too often overlooked in all the discussions about the “transition” to a net-zero emissions economy that the most consequential transition is that from democratic capitalism to feudal serfdom.
This is the conclusion of American demographer and “blue-collar Democrat” Joel Kotkin, who has highlighted that the supposedly well-intentioned green policies being adopted across the West come at enormous expense to the working- and middle-classes.
As Kotkin wrote in ‘Spiked’ earlier this year, “extreme climate measures have driven the loss of traditional blue-collar jobs in manufacturing, construction and energy, while other environmental regulations have boosted housing prices.”
Kotkin’s thesis is that the West is on the road to serfdom. Rather than maintaining our capitalist societies where a large, asset-owning middle-class underpin a stable democratic system, we are becoming stratified feudal societies.
Home and small business ownership are declining, especially among the young and the less well-off, a group of technocratic elites are establishing themselves as permanent rulers in the apparatus of the administrative state, and corporate oligarchs are coming to dominate both the economy and broader society.

Irrational fear is quite something to behold.
I continue to be amazed by how many fully vaccinated Australians remain ‘so terrified’ of the unvaccinated that they have demanded workplaces sack them.
That’s right, the person you sat next to for eight years is suddenly a worthless traitor destined for the scrapheap. They have to be punished – preferably financially ruined – even better if they end up on the street with their children kicked out of school. It’s their ‘choice’ after all. Vaccination or the breadline.
‘Do the right thing’ is starting to sound like a hacker sending threatening emails. ‘Hand over cash or we’ll forward nudes to your contact list – it’s your choice’.
Adults who believe it is too dangerous to share a workplace with the unvaccinated feel perfectly safe wandering into Coles to shop side-by-side with them. We are all touching the same self-service check-out, but I am yet to see a triple-mask-wearing customer hesitate, even for a moment.
And of course, those with a genuine medical exemption from vaccination are also safe to be around. None of the punitive safety rules apply. What’s the scientific difference between an unvaccinated person and a medically exempt unvaccinated person? One of them obeyed the government. That’s all.

Five Italian Governors have called for lockdown measures to be imposed on the unvaccinated, following the example of Austria, while Czech Republic and Slovakia are also moving to enforce similar measures.

Scott Morrison has said vaccine mandates to enter pubs and cafes should not be in place after states reach the 80 per cent vaccination threshold.
While NSW will drop vaccine passports on December 15, Queensland will introduce them to enter hospitality venues on December 17 and Victoria has vowed to keep jab requirements in place well into next year.
