Not sure whether this is unbridled arrogance or just jaw-dropping tone-deafness, but this is absurd.  These are toxic sociopaths operating on a level of totalitarian outlook that is alarming as heck. The American Federation of Teachers (AFT), a national union led by hard-line leftist Randi Weingarten, has announced adding $2.5 million to a legal fund specifically intended to fight parents for control over education curriculum. Apparently the AFT feels they should be permitted to determine the curriculum of what they teach.  Parents do not get a say in what is taught to their children; this is a remarkable admission of indoctrination.  The arrogance of this is really quite remarkable and highlights just how out-of-touch with teaching the education system has become. Distorting history and threatening educators for teaching the truth is what is truly radical and wrong.” In an interview, Weingarten said the union is adding $2.5 million to an existing legal defense fund in anticipation of local fights over the teaching of race. The funding will be used to defend teachers who are disciplined for teaching about slavery and racism, Weingarten said. The term “door-to-door” in the context of an aggressive leftist government will raise the hair on the neck of anyone who treasures freedom.

Getting the jab is probably a reasonable risk for a lot of people. For children and those who have already had Covid, it makes zero sense. In any case, a vaccine is available. If this is still anything like a free country, it is up to us whether we want it.

By the way, herd immunity has been canceled. Getting people injected is now an end in itself:

Maybe the idea is to get us used to the feds going door to door, for when the big gun grab comes. Progress cannot progress beyond a certain point so long as citizens can still defend themselves.

• A video captures the moment at least ten people stole loads of designer bags from Neiman Marcus in San Francisco and fled undeterred
• Police are still investigating the incident and the suspects were already gone by the time they arrived
• Witnesses told KTVU that the store was about to close when the suspects came in and smashed display cases before nabbing the goods and leaving 
• This comes as Target made the decision last week to close its San Francisco stores at 6pm – four hours earlier than elsewhere – and Walgreens shuttered 17 stores in the area because of shoplifting concerns  
• Shoplifting cases have been on the rise in San Francisco for years
• The problem arose after charges of property theft less than $950 in value was downgraded from a felony to a misdemeanor in 2014 

A video posted to Instagram captures yet another brazen act of shoplifting in San Francisco, this time at the luxury department store Neiman Marcus where at least ten people stole armfuls of designer goods and then fled without anyone trying to stop them. 

The footage reveals the shoplifters leaving the Union Square store, each carrying bags of stolen items with the security tags still dangling off of them. The perpetrators then ran in different directions, with a few speeding away from the scene in a white sedan.

One person watching says, ‘They can’t do anything,’ perhaps referring to security at Neiman Marcus.

Laws banning the instruction of CRT tenets in public schools have passed in more than 20 states, and there is reason t0 hope that the tide is beginning to turn in the fight for the country’s history and principles.

Unfortunately, the Zinn Education Project refuses to accept defeat, and desires to teach American children that this country was founded upon the “dispossession of Native Americans, slavery, structural racism and oppression,” as opposed to the principles of liberty enshrined in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.

Eleven self-identified militiamen on their way to “training” in Maine are behind bars after what police described as a heavily armed group that “does not recognize our laws” entered into — and at times live-steamed and narrated — an eight-hour highway standoff with cops in Wakefield [Massachusetts] on Saturday.

It all started when a state trooper saw vehicles stopped in the breakdown lane of I95 at 3 a.m. Saturday. People conspicuously armed and wearing tactical gear were using gas cannisters to refuel.

According to State Police Colonel Christopher Mason,

The trooper asked the men for their driver’s licenses and licenses to carry firearms, which the men either didn’t have or didn’t provide…

Negotiation tactics avoided bloodshed as the multiple maniacs were eventually arrested.

The Anti-Defamation League lists the “growing” Moorish movement as a Black offshoot of the sovereign-citizen cause.

WBZ-TV security analyst and former Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis says the group “identified police and anybody who wanted to place them under arrest as terrorists, and they talked about tactically attacking police officers who were attempting to do their duty.”

Jahmal Latimer, a.k.a. Talib Abdulla Bey, proclaims himself to be leader of Rise of the Moors and grand chief of the territory that some mistakenly refer to as Rhode Island. They don’t have their own flag, so they fly Morocco’s.

Although most everything about Rise of the Moors calls for guffaws, Davis notes that they have been training as terrorists.

Black Lives Matter established that certain groups do not have to obey even the most fundamental laws — for example, looting and arson may be excused by local authorities, not to mention avidly encouraged by the liberal media and nationally powerful Democrats like KamalaHarris. As the country spins out of control under Democrat rule, there are sure to be both laughs and bloodshed aplenty.

Independent MP Craig Kelly has said the entire vaccination rollout program must be suspended, as “informed consent is not occurring” in Australia.

In a Twitter post on Saturday, the member for Hughes said his previous view was that the vaccine should not be mandatory, but be freely available for Australians who have been provided with a sufficient understanding of the vaccine for their consent to be regarded as “informed.”

After reviewing “new data” and speaking with medical professionals, Kelly said his mind has changed on that matter, claiming that with a “mass brainwashing” of the public, Australians are accepting the vaccine without enough information about safety.
