The political left has reacted with abject horror over the proposed plan from Nigel Farage’s Reform UK party to locate deportation centres in areas of the country that support the open borders, neatly exposing luxury beliefs and open borders hypocrisy as he goes.

While leftists have long maintained that “refugees are welcome here”, it appears that they did not actually mean where they personally live. Following an announcement from Reform UK’s Shadow Home Secretary, Zia Yusuf, of plans to locate deportation centres in places where voters most support open borders, prominent left-wing politicians appeared to suggest that such a plan would serve as a punishment, rather than diversity being a “strength” as long claimed.

The Green Party has denounced the plans as being “abhorrent“, “unserious“, and “reminiscent” of openly racist campaign tactics allegedly employed by a Conservative candidate during the 1964 election, in which the slogan was heard: “If you want a n***er for a neighbour, vote Labour.”

A judge issued an apology to Cole Tomas Allen, the alleged White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner attacker, for how he has been treated while being held in jail.

During a hearing on Monday, U.S. Magistrate Judge Zia Faruqui expressed his apologies to Allen, who has been “held in the safe cell,” according to ABC7 News. Faruqui reportedly said the safe cell was “tantamount to solitary confinement.”

The judge also gave the Washington, DC, Department of Corrections a deadline of Tuesday “to notify when the jail’s housing board will” make a decision regarding “which section of the jail” Allen will be placed in, according to the outlet.

A taxpayer-funded Texas waterpark has sparked backlash by organizing a Muslim-only day to celebrate Eid. 

Epic Waters in Grand Prairie, Texas drew outrage this week as it released fliers for the June 1 event, which will demand a ‘modest dress code’ and serve only Halal-slaughtered meat. 

Posters for the event say it will be ‘for Muslims only’ to create a ‘family-friendly environment’, with tickets starting at $55 each. 

The waterpark’s website notes that men and women will not be separated during the event, but attendees are told to ‘uphold Islamic etiquette’ by ‘lowering the gaze’ throughout the day. 

‘Please follow the event’s modest dress code, and practice ḥayāʾ (modesty) through respectful behavior,’ the event says. 

All attendees are ‘expected to dress in accordance with Islamic values’, and the waterpark says all swimwear must meet Muslim guidelines. 

The event was criticized across social media, with many questioning if a taxpayer-funded space is allowed to exclude certain demographics from its events. 

Conservative commentator and radio host Dana Loesch led the backlash, questioning: ‘How is a taxpayer-funded, city-owned entity allowed to discriminate against non-Muslims at a public water park?’
