Raad appeared in court last year charged over his part in an attack in which a man Muslim convert was lashed 40 times with an electric cord in his Silverwater home in July 2011.

Raad and two other men held the victim down on a bed as he was whipped under the pretext of sharia, or Islamic, law.

The men claimed they were helping the victim to quit drugs and alcohol but, in what is believed to be the first case of its kind in Australia, the four men were convicted of assault and other charges.

Moroccan women protested outside parliament on Tuesday demanding the resignation of Islamist premier Abdelilah Benkirane after he urged women to stay at home and look after their families.

“Benkirane get out! Morocco is not for you!” were some of the slogans chanted by the protesters, who numbered about 100, and also waved placards and frying pans.

slide1I can say with confidence that the only civilization attributed to religion is the so-called “Islamic civilization”. Other civilizations do not base themselves on religion. We do not hear about the “Christian civilization”, the “Jewish civilization” or the “Buddhist civilization”.When I was a student in the Arab schools, I studied a curriculum module or unit called ‘Islamic civilization’ which was taught by a Salafist Imam. His whole curriculum was a biography of the Salafists “Ahlu Sunna” group; a group that wants to follow the works of Muhammad’s times and the early Muslims. All we studied was “so and so said…” and “the Shari’a tells us to do such and such…” the whole curricuum was designed for “Islamic brainwashing”. The instructor Imam never gave a smile in his lectures and taught topics that had no relation to civilization For me, this class was “the straw that broke the camel’s back” and that led me to go and finish my studies in the lands of the heathens.The class that I took with this Imam was no more than an insult to my intellect. The course was filled with mumbo jumbo about Islam along with some inherited beliefs about the Jews and the Persians.Who is the genius who came up with the term “Islamic civilization”?But wait for a minute …!

Walter Adrian, 23, and his boyfriend, who asked not to be named, were attacked outside Barclays bank on Whitechapel Road after leaving a friend’s party.

As they withdrew cash, up to seven Bangladeshi teenagers on pushbikes surrounded them asking “who is s***ing who off?” and “are you fags?”. They then punched and kicked the couple.

Mr Adrian’s partner, a Masters media student at Goldsmiths University, said: “I feel like I have to ‘gay-down’ a bit, that I should wear trousers and not skinny ones. We are not very gay, we don’t wear pink or glitter, and they still picked on us.

“We are just scared and afraid it might happen again and it just shouldn’t be like that. You get these patrols that make you feel like you’re trespassing in their area. I think it’s a clash as people are starting to move into multicultural areas.”

A fourth man, Samad Uddin, 24, is on trial for grievous bodily harm after the four others admitted their roles in the attack.

A few days ago I posted a video of Jews being attacked in broad daylight at a vigil for the three kidnapped Israeli teens by Hamas in Israel.  The weekend before last, there was a series of Muslim attacks on Jews in France; “Dirty Jews”  “We’re the Muslims, we will blow you up.” Paris cops threatened with guns outside synagogue, 14-year-old Jewish girl attacked, Jewish couple targeted on Metro by Muslim mob.

Islamic Jew-hatred, it’s in the quran. Respect it.

For those of you unfamiliar with Islamic history, Umar bin al-Khattab – the second Islamic Caliph – made an agreement with the subjugated Christians of Syria setting forth the conditions under which said Christians would be permitted to live in proximity to the conquering Muslims.

17360-Coexplode13This Pact of Umar is the origination of the concept of dhimmitude, a dehumanizing status belonging to subjugated non-Muslims in Islamist societies.

The translation I have re-produced below comes from the stellar book by Raymond Ibrahim, titled Crucified Again.

In return for their lives, the Christians agreed:

Not to build a church in our city—nor a monastery, convent, or monk’s cell in the surrounding areas—and not to repair those that fall in ruins or are in Muslim quarters;

Not to clang our cymbals except lightly and from the innermost recesses of our churches;

Not to display a cross on them [churches], nor raise our voices during prayer or readings in our churches anywhere near Muslims;

Not to produce a cross or [Christian] book in the markets of the Muslims;

Not to congregate in the open for Easter or Palm Sunday, nor lift our voices [in lamentation] for our dead nor show our firelights with them near the market places of the Muslims;

Not to display any signs of polytheism, nor make our religion appealing, nor call or proselytize anyone to it;

Not to prevent any of our relatives who wish to enter into Islam;

Not to possess or bear any arms whatsoever, nor gird ourselves with swords;

To honor the Muslims, show them the way, and rise up from our seats if they wish to sit down;

Adhere to these conditions and live. Break these conditions and all bets are off. While this pact was made in the early 7th Century, it is still considered relevant today as evidenced by its widespread application throughout the Middle East.

They are enforcing the conditions on the Christian residents of Syria, in addition to the regions they have recently conquered in Iraq.

Last November Pope Francis issued an exhortation entitled Evangelii Gaudium in which he made the following assertions about Islam:

In order to sustain dialogue with Islam, suitable training is essential for all involved, not only so that they can be solidly and joyfully grounded in their own identity, but so that they can also acknowledge the values of others, appreciate the concerns underlying their demands and shed light on shared beliefs. We Christians should embrace with affection and respect Muslim immigrants to our countries in the same way that we hope and ask to be received and respected in countries of Islamic tradition. I ask and I humbly entreat those countries to grant Christians freedom to worship and to practice their faith, in light of the freedom which followers of Islam enjoy in Western countries! Faced with disconcerting episodes of violent fundamentalism, our respect for true followers of Islam should lead us to avoid hateful generalisations, for authentic Islam and the proper reading of the Koran are opposed to every form of violence.

As has been reported here at length over the past couple of weeks (see the list of links at the bottom of this post), a Muslim imam was invited to participate in the “prayer for peace” event at the Vatican on June 8. The esteemed alumnus of Al-Azhar University went off-script, however, and asked Allah to help him gain victory over the unbelievers.

The Vatican at first denied that any such thing had happened, and an edited video of the event was released that supported their denial. However, as we reported last week, the end of Sura 2 Verse 286 from the Koran that the imam quoted — which had been judiciously removed from the publicized version — was most assuredly included in the cleric’s Arabic-language prayer.
