The Opera House on Tuesday canned a lecture entitled ‘Honour killings are morally justified’, which was to have been given by writer Uthman Badar [of Islamist group Hizb ut-Tahrir], only hours after it was announced.

The talk was planned as part of the annual Festival of Dangerous Ideas, which takes place in August….

The Daily Telegraph puts it well:

The organisers of this utter disgrace may congratulate themselves on winning media attention. Perhaps that was the aim all along. But media attention will eventually fade, and those organisers will have to live with the fact that they intended to elevate the slaughter of women and girls to the very centre of Sydney’s cultural life.

“BASELESS ATTACK”: Cairns born and bred Abdul Aziz, the imam of the Cairns Mosque, has lashed out at anti-Islam propaganda.

Flyers were recently dropped at a number of Cairns addresses urging the community to boycott halal products, reading “say no” to halal certification, Islamic jizyah tax (a tax on non-Muslims living under Muslim rule), sharia law and multiculturalism.

A website listed on the flyer promotes a national movement which claims that buying halal food supports the halal council which funds terrorist organisations.

Anti-migrant rhetoric alarms Assam Muslims

What we are seeing in Assam is the demographic time bomb, the jihad by outbreeding the infidels. During secession in 1971 and afterwards, the Muslims of what is now Bangladesh murdered just about all the Hindus, Buddhists and Christians or drove them out,  they caused the exodus of 10 million refugees and the displacement of 30 million people. And since jihad doesn’t create any wealth but merely consumes the stolen goods, large numbers of parasitic Muslims, driven by poverty, followed the infidels to where they had escaped to safety, to India proper and to Assam. Now, once again, we are seeing the familiar patterns of jihad, based on the Quran (2:191-193) - “And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah [disbelief] is worse than killing…  but if they desist, then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful.   And fight them until there is no more Fitnah [disbelief and worshipping of others along with Allah] and worship is for Allah alone.

Dhubri, India – Tensions are on the rise in the Indian state of Assam as assertive Hindu nationalists, fresh from a landslide victoryin the national election, are heightening their rhetoric over illegal immigration from neighbouring Bangladesh.

Any efforts to raise the stakes by acting against migrants from Bangladesh in India could have international ramifications by alienating the India-friendly government of the neighbouring country and provoking anti-Hindu sentiment there.

“All this is adding to the tensions across Assam,” said minority leader Hafiz Rashid Ahmed Choudhury, who has called on Prime Minister Narendra Modi to restrain BJP leaders from stirring up an “anti-minority tirade”.

Sydney Opera House Cancels ‘Dangerous Ideas’ Talk On  “Honour killings are morally justified”, by Hizb-ut Tahrir

Too bad. I was planning to go. This “coming out” event would have been a wakeup call for many Australians. 

The Sydney Opera House has cancelled a talk about Muslim “honour killings” within hours of growing outrage emerging on social media.

The August address, titled “Honour killings are morally justified”, by activist Uthman Badar, was part of the annual Festival of Dangerous Ideas and this afternoon came under attack from both conservative and progressives on Twitter and Facebook.

Honour killings are when a family member, most often a woman, is murdered for supposedly bringing shame on the family. It occurs throughout the world, including Australia, but is most prevalent in Muslim communities.

From Uthman Badaass’s Facebook page:

“As for the content of my presentation, I wont be revealing much before the event itself. Surprise, surprise. I will, however, say that the suggestion that I would advocate for honour killings, as understand in the west, is ludicrous and something I would normally not deem worth of dignifying with a response. Rather, this is about discussing the issue at a deeper level, confronting accepted perceptions, assumptions and presumptions and seeing things from a different perspective. Is that too much to ask of the liberal mind?”

AUSTRALIAN journalist Peter Greste and his Al Jazeera colleagues accused of aiding the blacklisted Muslim Brotherhood have been jailed for seven years in Egypt. 

I was struck by this bit:

“… the parent organization, Al Jazeera, is putting these people in a very compromising situation by not just covering what is happening in Egypt, but, in some ways, actually participating in it.”

You could pretty much say that about ‘our ABC’, too, in its jihad against the Abbott government.

• Al Jazeera employees are being treated like enemy agents because that’s what they are.

Now Andrew Bolt calls for the government to consider clamping down on Islamic immigration: 

These aren’t good days for those flogging the furphy of “Islam is a religion of peace”. Many papers, radio and TV shows are running stories about mosques, jihadis, deception and violence. Don’t bother watching the talking heads of “The Project” on Channel Ten tonight. Australia’s favourite Muslim and senior lecturer on all matters Islam, terrorism and multicultural harmony, Waleed Ali, will surely want to put matters right.

We can expect that OIC & Co will be throwing extra wads of money from our petrol and air travel purchases at us. The message ‘Islam is the religion of peace – and whoever says otherwise is mentally insane’ will become much louder.

We would not be in this mess if our rulers had decided to protect our society instead of feebly colluding with our enemies.
