George Galloway claims to have “declared Bradford an Israel-free zone”, saying that he wants the city to reject all Israeli goods, services, academics – and even tourists.

Reportedly speaking at a meeting of the Respect Party in Leeds at the weekend, Mr Galloway urged the people of that city “to do the same”.

The MP for Bradford West’s comments were captured on video and posted to YouTube, and have since been met with an angry backlash on Twitter.

According to the footage, which was posted on the Guido Fawkes blog, Mr Galloway told activists: “We have declared Bradford an Israel-free zone.”

He said: “We don’t want any Israeli goods. We don’t want any Israeli services. We don’t want any Israeli academics, coming to the university or the college.

Geert Wilders and the PVV (Party for Freedom) released the following open letter today addressed to Prime Minister Mark Rutte of the Netherlands:

Open letter to the Dutch Prime Minister

Prime Minister,

Yesterday’s joint statement by the cabinet and the Jewish organizations about the growing anti-Semitism in the Netherlands is worthless. There is an elephant in the room, but you refuse to see it.

Such lax behavior is unworthy of a Prime Minister.

You are afraid of Islam and therefore refuse to say what everyone knows: the more Islam in the Netherlands, the more anti-Semitism one will get.

“Together we are responsible for ensuring that conflicts that occur elsewhere in the world do not lead to tensions and conflicts between groups in our Dutch society,” you state.

For years we have seen the same thing in the U.S.: the Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and other Islamic supremacist groups have fought tooth and nail against counter-terror measures, and continue to do so. Just once it would be refreshing to see these groups that ostensibly oppose jihad terror actually doing something to quell it.

ABC FINDS A FRIEND

After interviewing official Hamas Jew-hater Osama Hamdan, the ABC now turns to creepy little Zaky Mallah for expert insight on security issues:

Journalists in Gaza are finally reporting the fact that Hamas has been deliberately putting its own citizens at risk by launching rockets from sites in the midst of densely-populated civilian areas, with a special preference for schools, hospitals, apartment buildings, and so on — places guaranteed to tug at the heartstrings of Western TV viewers when images of dead and injured children and weeping mothers appear on the nightly news.

But the video below is different. This is not about dead kids. After all, there are plenty of kids to spare. This is about (potentially) dead journalists — people whose lives areimportant:

Actually, to be fair, the MSM reporters who cover Gaza labor under severe constraints. It’s not always well-known to their audience, but Hamas officials often threaten them with death if they report on certain incidents or enter certain areas. If I understand it correctly, the NDTV clip shown above was not aired until the camera team had left the country and flown safely back to India.

The following report from France 24 describes a similar situation. It may even be the same launching site shown in the NDTV — the surrounding buildings look very similar — but I’m not absolutely certain. In any case, it got the attention of international journalists:  Continue reading →

Is it really beyond all possibility for the American government to do something to protect the Christians, the Yazidis, the Shabak, and all the others, threatened by maddened Muslims? A country that sent a million men to Iraq during the past decade, that spent two trillion dollars on that effort, that moved in tanks and planes and artillery, and then moved them out again, or rather moved most of it out but left much for the feckless government in Baghdad run by, and for, Shi’a Arabs, cannot send a few thousand men, and planes flying and bombing overhead, to protect the oldest Christian communities in the world from extermination? No? Why not?

Would it “offend” the world’s Muslims? Should any non-Muslim care?

Tony Abbott and his government have gravely underestimated the commitment of Australians to free speech:

IPA Director John Roskam on Wednesday warned the government not to “underestimate the white-hot anger” of Liberals dismayed by the Prime Minister’s decision to back down from repealing section 18C of the Racial Discrimination Act.

Now it appears that anger has been converted into cash with the appeal topping $45,000 as of this morning, according to Mr Roskam.

This is similar to the conservative uprising that followed Malcolm Turnbull’s embrace of an emissions trading scheme. He shortly became an ex-leader. There’s a lesson in that.
