Nigerian scammer Fisayo Oluwafemi  has been charged with defrauding almost $3 million through an alleged romance, identification and business scam he was running from inside Sydney’s Villawood Detention Centre. He was using 16 different mobile phones.

Weber is ignorant. He hasn’t got a clue about “human rights” under Islam.

A new book that is highly critical of Islam is now the number one bestselling non-fiction book in Germany, selling well over 100,000 copies less than two weeks after its initial release.

The book, entitled Hostile Takeover: How Islam Impedes Progress and Threatens Society, is the latest from former Social Democrat (SPD) politician and former member of the Executive Board of the Deutsche Bundesbank, Thilo Sarrazin. Hostile Takeover now leads Der Spiegel‘s bestseller list for non-fiction.

Mr Sarrazin is no stranger to controversy in Germany, having already published a harsh criticism of the country’s multicultural experiment entitled Germany Abolishes Itself in 2010. He has also become a leading thinker in Germany’s new right, which is largely centred around the populist Alternative for Germany (AfD).

(CNN)The European Parliament on Wednesday voted to punish Hungary for cracking down on democratic institutions, setting off a process that could ultimately lead to the suspension of the country’s voting rights in the European Union.

This is preposterous. #Orbán got more than 50% of the vote at the last election. The #EU is an enemy of democracy. It ignores or overturns democratic votes that don’t go its way. Its “core values” are totalitarian. The sooner it collapses the better.

In his 30-minute speech presented directly to camera, al-Zawahiri used Trump’s decision to move the embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem as justification to carry out more attacks.

Australia’s first Muslim Senator, Mehreen Faruqi has used her maiden speech to warn against the normalisation of racism in Australia.

According to Ms Faruqi, migrants no longer feel welcome in Australia because “bigotry and xenophobia have been allowed to flourish.”

South Yorkshire Police have doubled down in response to backlash over ‘Orwellian’ tweets urging people to report “non-crime hate incidents”, stating that “offensive” online comments “re-emphasises the need” for officers to “tackle hate”.

In a series of messages posted to social media alleging that “hate hurts and no one should have to tolerate it”, the police force told members of the public to report so-called hate crimes as well as “non-crime hate incidents”, the latter of which it said “can include things like offensive or insulting comments, online, in person or in writing”.

Afghans murder another German, media blames victim

Two Afghan asylum seekers were arrested after a 22-year-old male was beaten to death on Saturday night, the latest fatality in Germany to be followed with a street protest.

The attack on 22-year-old Markus B. occurred on Saturday night in the town of Koethen, eastern Germany, with police saying he had been in the park with his pregnant girlfriend. An argument broke out between him and the pair of Afghans, though investigators are not sure on the specific cause of the conflict, Süddeutsche Zeitung reports.

The situation then escalated with the Afghans pushing Markus B. on to the ground and repeatedly kicking him in the head. Investigators say the 22-year-old German died of heart failure as a result of the attack, after being taken to a nearby hospital, but said the heart failure was not “in direct causal connection with the injuries suffered”.

The attack comes only weeks after the brutal, fatal stabbing of Daniel Hillig in the city of Chemnitz that sparked a wave of protests that saw thousands of Germans take to the streets.

Like in Chemnitz, around 2,500 local residents, both families and far-right elements, in Köthen took to the streets on Sunday, silently protesting the murder with various banners and marched to the scene of the attack.

Once there, the crowd chanted slogans including “Wir sind das Volk” or “We are the people” — a slogan made popular in Eastern German protests shortly before the fall of the Berlin wall. Deutsche Welle reports the majority of those demonstrating were not affiliated with the far-right and that the event dispersed peacefully. Al-Qaeda made sure it was perfectly positioned to pick up the pieces after the ISIS caliphate exploded. It exploited the dramatic discrediting of the Islamic State, which advocated seizing and holding vast amounts of territory to forge an apocalyptic Islamist nation-state that could be targeted and destroyed by mighty Western military forces – not to mention various other, much more well-established Islamist nation-states threatened by the Islamic State’s existence, such as Iran.
