Advice sessions on dealing with Islamophobia

We have a partner, Tell Mama, supporting people who have experienced Islamophobia. Tell Mama are running two drop-in sessions on 17 October with support from our commuity safety service.

Transport for London (TfL) and London’s police are teaming up to encourage people to report “perceived” so-called “hate crimes”, specifically targeting Muslims by going into mosques.

The police will be working with the True Vision website, used by anti-Brexit campaigners to claim the vote to leave the European Union (EU) caused “hate crimes” and Tell MAMA, a discredited “anti-Islamophobia” group that lost government funding in 2013 after exaggerating statistics to further their cause.

TfL and the Met Police will hold more than 200 “community events” and encourage reporting of hate crimes on visits to the East London Mosque and bus routes around Stratford and Whitechapel in support of National Hate Crime Awareness Week.

“We won’t tolerate behaviour where someone is targeted because they are different or made to feel uncomfortable on their journey,” British Transport Police said in a statement.

Muslim spokesman Qasim Rashid claims Islam can “help us prevent more sexual abuse scandals”

Ahmadi spokesman Qasim Rashid is a professional liar, a one-man cottage industry of deception and hypocrisy. He has whitewashed Muhammad’s support for torture and the reality of jihad violence and Sharia oppression; dissembled about the Qur’an’s sanction of deception of unbelievers; lied about the presence of violent passages in the Qur’an; lied about the Qur’an’s sanction of beating disobedient women; lied about the nature of Sharia; called for limitations on the freedom of speech and expression to outlaw behavior and speech some Muslims may find offensive; and lied about Muhammad’s stance toward the persecution of Christians. He has even blamed Christianity for Islam’s death penalty for blasphemy. When challenged about the “facts” he has presented, he (like virtually all other Islamic supremacists) responds with furious ad hominem contempt, but never answers the refutations of his articles on substantive grounds — because, of course, he cannot do so.

In this one, however, Qasim Rashid has outdone himself, claiming that “the teachings of Islam could help us prevent more sexual abuse scandals.” This is true in one sense: since Islam doesn’t actually recognize many varieties of sexual abuse as wrongdoing, the scandals would go away. But the abuse wouldn’t. Much more below.

Pope Francis: ‘Wars and Climate Change’ Are Root Causes of World Hunger and Migration

Pope Francis addressed the FAO Monday on the question of world hunger, proposing that wars and climate change must be overcome in order to properly address the crisis of world hunger and immigration.

“The relationship between hunger and migrations can only be addressed if we go to the root of the problem,” the Pope said at the headquarters of the Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) in Rome. “In this regard, studies conducted by the United Nations, like many others conducted by civil organizations, agree that there are two major obstacles that must be overcome: conflicts and climate change.”

The pontiff expressed his optimistic view that scientists have discovered how to contain climate change and require only the political will of world leaders.

“Concerning climate change, we see its consequences every day,” Francis said. “Thanks to scientific knowledge, we know how to deal with the problem and the international community has also been preparing necessary legal instruments, such as, for example, the Paris Accord.”

The Pope added that “unfortunately, some are distancing themselves” from the Paris agreement, in evident reference to the United States, since it is the only nation apart from Nicaragua and Syria not to adhere to the pact, and the only one to actually withdraw.

The monks who escaped massacre fled, and were scattered over Nepal, Tibet, and the south. After A.D. 1200 the traces of Buddhism in upper India are faint and obscure.

Confirmatory evidence of the Muslim devastation of Buddhist temples and plight of the Buddhist community in northern India (i.e., Bihar) during the early 13th century C.E., from the victims’ rueful perspective, is recorded in the chronicle of Dharmasvamin, a highly educated Tibetan monk who traveled through this region from 1234-1236 C.E.

If we just refrain from doing things that provoke Muslims and poke them in the eye, everything will be all right, no? We must not provoke them. This is a message that almost the entire Western political and media establishment has internalized. The only problem is that what Muslims see as unacceptable provocations is an ever-expanding list, and yet no one dares to stand up and say, “Enough.”

The Jordanian government condemned Israel for allowing Jews to visit the Temple Mount, calling it “irresponsible” and “provocative to Muslims around the world.”

Jordan’s Minister of State for Media Affairs Mohammad Momani published a statement declaring Israel’s actions “unacceptable.” Israel, he said, is “provoking in an irresponsible fashion” Muslims around the world.

Momani also claimed Israel is “harming” the “blessed Al-Aqsa mosque.”

According to Momani, Israel’s policy contradicts international law, which requires the preservation of holy sites.

Israel’s actions also harm the relationship between the two countries, and makes it difficult to reduce tension and preserve the historical and legal status quo at Al-Aqsa, Momani claimed. He insisted Israel cease the “provocations” and honor Jordan’s role as protector of holy places in Jerusalem, as per the contract between Jordan and Israel.

Israel Police recently stopped a soccer game on the Temple Mount, confiscating the ball from the Arab youths. Arabs continuously desecrate the holy site by holding soccer games against the law, and even have clowns perform there….

Not a day goes by without this repetitive claptrap. Add that to homo ‘marriage’, global worming & the refugee racket. The fake news media is close to worthless.

We have to stop normalising relentless Islamophobia in Australia

Terrorised, persecuted, stateless, homeless, and, until recently, without real international support – this is the plight of the Rohingya, a Muslim minority community being forced out of Myanmar.

At the hands of the Myanmar military, more than 80 villages have been burnt, leaving ten thousands of Rohingyas fleeing daily and attempting to cross into a flooded Bangladesh.

Amid perennial media coverage linking Islam to terrorism and radicalisation, little has been known in the west of the persecution of Muslim minority communities like the Rohingya.

Like many displaced Muslims, the vulnerable Rohingya may face fear and resentment when they settle in new communities.

If by chance some of the Rohingya find refuge in our lucky country, there’s a strong possibility they will be on the receiving end of the relentless Islamophobia experienced by Muslims, in particular since 11 September 2001.

But just how serious a problem is Islamophobia in Australia?

Fresh influx of Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh poses security challenge

For once, a rather objective report on the situation in Burma. Most of the fake news journaille these days is using the same victimhood template for the “oppressed Rohingya”. This article is one of very few that points the finger at the Mohammedan insurgents waging jihad against the Buddhists of Burma.

There is no such thing as “Rohingya”. These people are Bengali Muslim invaders who have been kicked out of Burma. Naturally Bangladesh has to take them back. These are their own people, despite all the hype in the media.
