Sky News host and former Liberal MP Ross Cameron has been accused of signing a sexually explicit cartoon of a woman in a burqa at a fundraising auction for a controversial “far-right group.”

A group of 49 Muslim “scholars” are now demanding an apology from the ABC for not silencing Senator Lambie, saying the prog­ram host, Tony Jones, failed to provide a “safe environment” for Ms Abdel-Magied to speak.

The federal government paid for activist Yassmin Abdel-Magied to tour some of the world’s most repressive Islami­c regimes last Novem­be­r, Caroline Overington reports.

Yassmin’s tax-funded adventure promoted her book about being a Sudanese-Egypt­ian-Australian Muslim woman who wears the hijab:

The tour, which included stops in Saudi Arabia, where women are flogged for adultery and are not permitted to drive, was funded by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, which declined yesterday to reveal the cost.

Ms Abdel-Magied, who sat next to Malcolm Turnbull at the Iftar dinner for Muslim leaders held at Kirribilli House last year to celebrate the end of Ramadan, made headlines this week when, as a guest on the ABC’s Q&Aprogram, she describe­d Islam as “the most femin­ist” of all relig­ions.

Her statement was rejected by a fiery senator Jacqui Lambie, who argued that those countries where sharia informs the law are some of the most violently mis­ogynistic places on earth.

Ms Abdel-Magied, who is also employed by the ABC as a host of a travel program, promoted her tour of the Middle East and Africa on her blog last November, saying: “I’m heading out on tour to the Middle East and North Africa! Very excited to be supported by the Australian Embassies in the region to visit numerous countries over the next three weeks inshallah. First stop: Saudi Arabia!”

Asked to explain the purpose, rationale and cost of the tour, DFAT said: “Yassmin Abdel-Magied­ visited a number of countries­ in the Middle East to promote Australia as an open, innovative, democratic and diverse nation. She met youth representatives, scientists, entrepreneurs, women’s groups and others.”

Unreal. Who would have thought that the Islamic world produces nothing but “scientists, entrepreneurs, women’s groups and others?”

I suspect that most of them fall into the category of “others”, what say you?

PARIS RIOTS: Tourists ordered to STAY AWAY after rioters ATTACK coach trip

PARIS holidaymakers are being told to stay away after a group of tourists were attacked on their coach during riots sweeping the capital.

Tourists stuck in traffic were threatened with a glass bottle before being mugged, with the gang of youths then trying to set fire to the coach.

After the muggers fled, the driver finally managed to get the coach moving and reach the hotel in the Saint-Denis neighbourhood.

Spiegel online reported the imams belong to Ditib, an organisation controlled by Ankara that manages some 900 mosques or religious communities in Germany.
German authorities on Wednesday raided the apartments of four Islamic clerics suspected of spying on opponents of the Turkish government, accusing them of hiding behind religion to conduct espionage on behalf of Ankara.

The federal prosecutors’ office said the morning raids in the states of North Rhine-Westphalia and Rheinland-Palatinate were carried out to collect evidence, and no arrests were made. The unidentified targets are suspected of spying on supporters of U.S.-based cleric Fethullah Gulen, who is accused by the Turkish government of orchestrating a July 15 coup.

Prosecutors say the four men affiliated with the DITIB, the union of Turkish-Islamic cultural organizations in Germany, are suspected of passing the information on to the Turkish consulate in Cologne.

DITIB had no comment when reached by telephone and did not immediately respond to an email query.

Last week, when an official of Germany’s domestic intelligence agency said that 13 imams affiliated with DITIB had sent the names of alleged supporters of Gulen to the Turkish government’s Office for Religious Affairs, Diyanet, the union said it was not involved and that Diyanet supervised imams directly.

Following the raids, Justice Minister Heiko Maas said the government expects “DITIB to promptly and completely explain the allegations.”

“Whoever uses Islam as a cover for espionage cannot rely (for protection) on the freedom of religion,” he said. “If the suspicion that some DITIB imams were spying is confirmed, the organization must be seen, at least in parts, as a long arm of the Turkish government.”

A recent IS video threatening three Muslim leaders has been condemned by the Australian National Imams Council (ANIC), which it said proved the terrorist group was not representative of their Islamic faith.

Everything ISIL does is 100% islamic and supported by Qur’an and the sunna. They are lying as usual. Their denial stinks to high heaven.

The 25-minute video, entitled Fight The Leaders of Disbelief, pictured three Australian Muslims leaders — Sheikh Shady Al-Suleiman, NSW Police Chaplain Sheikh Ahmed Abdo and Australian Grand Mufti Dr Ibrahim Abu Mohamed — as “collaborator, informers and apostates”.

The leaders pictured in the video were criticised for discouraging violence and for making statements that Muslims must obey and respect the laws of the land in which they live.

No such thing can be found in islamic scriptures. They are just biting their time until they have the numbers and the strength to strike.

ANIC said in a statement that those who tried to “monopolise the Muslim faith with extreme views would never represent mainstream Islam”.

“Atrocities committed in the name of Islam will only polarise Muslims further and are not a part of Islamic teachings.

Stop lying, you rotten f*&%$!

We’re all quick to judge, aren’t we? It’s human nature. If we can condemn someone, without knowing their story, or truly understanding their life experiences we feel morally right, virtuous.

We point the finger, permitting ourselves to feel vindicated by condemning them.

Publicly vilifying someone is today’s social media blood sport. Those who name-call, abuse and accuse feel better about themselves, morally superior, patting themselves on the back, telling themselves how much better they are than others.

Virtue signalling is a real thing.

Along with many more than one million claimed refugees, Germany has invited a hideous increase in the world’s ghastliest “cultural” tradition.

Gates of Vienna, via translation of a German news piece, reports:

There are approximately 47,300 victims of female genital mutilation living in Germany. This emerges from the first survey of the national prevalence of the phenomenon, introduced by the Federal Ministry for Families today.

The 6th of February is an action day for the United Nations and several rescue organizations opposing the practice, which is widespread mainly in Africa and the Arabian Peninsula, but also in Indonesia in Southeast Asia. In the process of being mutilated, often girls as under five years old have their outer genitalia cut. The clitoris and labia are amputated and partially sewn closed.

Millions of women experience severe trauma during this procedure, as well later on during intercourse and giving birth. While the circumcision of boys may be justified for the purposes of better hygiene and the prevention of ailments, there are no medical arguments at all for cutting the genitals of girls.

According to the study, the number of women affected in Germany rose by 30 percent from end of 2014 through mid-2016 because of immigration from states where this cruel tradition is practiced.

The UN has done a great job stamping this out. Not. It continues in developing nations and is now prevalent throughout the first world.
