Armed police swarmed the area soon after receiving reports that a ~~man~~ Mohammedan assassin hacked at passengers on board a train close to Wurzburg in southern Germany.

Police have confirmed that 18 people have been injured in the horrifying attack – three of them ate fighting for life.

The brother of Pakistani social media celebrity Qandeel Baloch says he is “not embarrassed at all” about having drugged and strangled her to death, noting that after her accusations against an Islamic cleric led to his removal, he felt he had no choice but to stop her from continuing to “dishonor” the family.

“I am proud of what I did. I drugged her first, then I killed her,” Waseem Baloch said in his stated confession to the police. “Girls are born to stay home and follow traditions. My sister never did that.” He asserted that the murder had earned him a place “in heaven.”

This willful ignorance in the middle of a war endangers us all.

Islamic State posted a video on Tuesday in which a man whom it identifies as the Afghan refugee who attacked passengers with an axe on a train in Germany vows to carry out a suicide mission and urges other Muslims to do the same.

When a Muslim screaming “Allahu akbar” and affiliated with the Islamic State attacks non-Muslims with an axe, it’s just another episode in the global jihad against Infidels. Bouhlel’s phone records prove he was in contact with known Islamic radicals. Authorities confirmed “he seems to have known people who knew Omar Diaby”, an Islamist believed to be linked with the Al Nusra group, which is close to Al Qaeda.

Ahmed Elomar — the brother of high-profile jihadi Mohamed Elomar, who was killed by a US drone strike in Syria last year — is set for release from prison because a parole authority decided he could be radicalised in jail.

Elomar, 33, who has served almost three years of a maximum four-year, eight-month sentence for bashing a policeman with a pole during riots at Sydney’s Hyde Park in September 2012, was granted parole yesterday by the NSW State Parole Authority.

In deciding to free the father of three, the authority said it had considered a submission from the Commissioner of Corrective Services NSW, Peter Severin, opposing the release on the grounds Elomar was already radicalised…

Mr Severin told the parole authority Elomar had shown “concerning behaviour in relation to radical beliefs” while in jail, including being part of a group of inmates who administered sharia law at Goulburn jail and in September 2015 he was “in the vicinity of a conversation had by Middle Eastern inmates in relation to beheading a person.” He had a photograph of his brother and considered him a “martyr”, Mr Severin said in his report.

So we cannot counter Islamic radicalisation in our jails but trust it will not occur in our streets?

The right-wing columnist and Sky News host is now bordering on justifying mob violence, writes Michael Brull.

Andrew Bolt has long had a problem with Muslims and Islam, but his latest column is inflammatory to the point that it seems dangerous. Even by his standards, it is shocking. In it, he argues that Islam is a “warlike religion that licenses our destruction”, predicts a “Right-wing backlash” where vigilantes “defend themselves” by taking up arms, and innocent Muslims get hurt. But “Who could blame them”? As he predicts this “civil war”, he urges us to stop “demonising” those “with the courage to warn of the dangers, even of a Pauline Hanson.” Instead, “no more multiculturalism”, and “no more mass immigration from the Muslim world.”

Bolt begins by commenting on the attack in France, arguing that “We in the West cannot live like this”. Readers can guess who in the West is included in this we, and who is not. Bolt puts the blame for this and previous attacks by jihadi terrorists on Islam, writing that “we” can’t “keep letting in carriers of a faith whose most dogmatic believers wish to destroy us. What madness is this ‘tolerance’ of ours that we deem it rude to even discuss the warlike religion that licenses our destruction and demands an end to our most cherished liberties?”

Let me stress that. Islam is a “warlike religion”, which “licenses our destruction”, and “demands an end to our most cherished liberties”.

He then outlines what he thinks is a natural – and understandable – response: “civil war”.

“And if our politicians will not speak frankly and protect us from Islam, watch out for a civil war. A frightened public will not put up with this for much longer and will defend themselves. Here, yes, that ugly day has not dawned and let us pray it never does. But in France, God knows how soon non-Muslim vigilantes will themselves take up arms.

Who could blame them, after the murderous attacks by Islamists on a Jewish kindergarten, on a satirical magazine that mocked Islam, on a kosher supermarket, on a policeman and his wife at home and, last year, on Paris in a full-on military assault that killed 130 people. (Emphasis added).”

Who could blame them? It’s just self-defence.

Bolt writes that the French chief of the Directorate General of Internal Security had said that before this attack, one more could lead to “a huge Right-wing backlash”. Is Bolt worried about the huge backlash? Should we do something to prevent it? Bolt explains that:

Fethullah Gulen, the 75-year old Turkish imam living in self-imposed exile in Pennsylvania, threw an accusation back at President Tayyip Erdogan after Turkey’s president squarely blamed him for Friday’s military coup attempt.

“There is a slight chance, there is a possibility that it could be a staged coup,” Gulen toldreporters, speaking through a translator at his Pennsylvania compound. “It could be meant for court accusations and associations.”

Referring to Erdogan’s regime, Gulen said “It appears that they have no tolerance for any movement, any group, any organization that is not under their total control.”

Still, Gulen condemned the coup plot and said democracy in Turkey could not be achieved using military action.

Erdogan blamed Gulen for involvement in the coup attempt and called on the Obama administration to extradite the cleric.

“Today, after this coup attempt, I’m once again calling on you, I’m saying: Extradite this man in Pennsylvania to Turkey now,” Erdogan said in televised remarks appealing directly to Obama.

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said on Saturday the Obama administration would investigation any accusations against Gulen if they are presented by Turkey along with an extradition request.

“We fully anticipate that there will be questions raised about Mr. Gulen,” Kerry told reporters. “And obviously we would invite the government of Turkey, as we always do, to present us with any legitimate evidence that withstands scrutiny. And the United States will accept that and look at it and make judgments about it appropriately.”

…two distinguished academics, Olivier Roy and Gilles Kepel, have long lists of books to their name, and years of field work in the Middle East, Central Asia and the troubled French suburbs. They are both eagerly consulted by the French news media and government officials.

Both are self-aggrandising tosspots stuck in their socialist materialistic Weltanschauung. They are lost.

Kepel and Roy deserve each other. But the people of France, reeling from the latest mass attack, at this point deserve neither. They need to realize that they are not to blame if Muslims claim to feel “alienated” or “marginalized” because the French haven’t changed their laws or customs to suit Muslim demands – demands that have no logical end until the Shari’a is fully imposed. And they need to understand that the “radicalization of Islam” means, in truth, nothing more than a recognition and acceptance, by many Muslims, of what Islam teaches, and a willingness to act upon it. It is not some strange mutation of the faith. It is the faith; it is mainstream Islam.

But does anyone really believe it? “Aux armes, citoyens” [from la Marseillaise], we exclaim full-throatedly, but our arms are those of peace, of candles and hashtags and funeral processions and the procedural subtleties of our criminal code.

In truth, a phony war! We leave our borders (what soldiers call our lines) wide open to our enemies. The recruiting agents for the jihad preach their doctrine of hate with impunity, in the very mosques financed by the enemy. Those we call “traitors” who went off to fight in Syria [for the Islamic State] upon returning undergo nothing more than a simple course of “deradicalization.” As for those flagged as a “threat to national security,” who might constitute a fifth column, they roam freely because “they haven’t yet committed any crime.”
