Sickening new ISIS video shows caged prisoners lowered into a swimming pool and drowned, shot with an RPG and blown up with explosive-filled ‘necklaces’

• Sickening seven-minute video shows the deaths of several ISIS prisoners 
• Five men are filmed being drowned in a pool in the ISIS stronghold Mosul 
• Underwater cameras capture them thrashing before falling unconscious 
• Another group are shot with a rocket launcher while locked in an old car
• Final sequence shows seven prisoners being chained together with explosive necklaces, which are then detonated

Vile jihadis fighting for the Islamic State in Iraq have brutally murdered five prisoners by locking them in a metal cage and lowering them into a swimming pool.

Filmed in the ISIS stronghold of Mosul, the sickening seven minute long video uses expensive underwater cameras to film the terrified men as they sink below the surface with no hope of escape.

Shortly afterwards the cage is lifted back out of the water, with the dying men – who are understood to have been accused of spying – seen foaming at the mouth as they lie motionless on the floor of the cage, piled on top of one another.

Elsewhere in the video, ISIS militants are filmed brutally killing prisoners by locking them in a car and shooting them with a grenade launcher, while another group of jihadis chain a set of prisoners together with explosive necklaces which are then detonated.

Lowered: Standing up straight with their legs bound, the men look reasonably calm until the moment the cage begins to be slowly lowered into the pool by the depraved Islamic State militants

Horrific: As the water begins to enter the cage, the victims begin to panic and start praying and pacing the cell

Brutal: Once the cage is submerged, the video cuts to the high-tech underwater cameras, which  – in images too horrific to publish – show the men thrashing around until they lose conciousness and fall to the floor

The barbaric video is a new low for the terror group, whose catalogue of horrific filmed murders includes the savage beheading of several British and American hostages, the burning to death of Jordanian pilot Moaz al-Kasasbeh and numerous clips of people being shot and stoned to death.

The main section of the film begins with the stomach-churning sight of five men being locked in a cage that has been suspended above a luxury swimming pool in Mosul.

Muslim leader’s support for families of jihadis Khaled Sharrouf and Mohamed Elomar

SYDNEY Muslim community leader Keysar Trad last night came out in support of the families grieving the reported death of the two slain terrorists.–DAILYTELEGRAPH.COM.AU

Keysar Trad, ominously described as Sydney Muslim community leader, is shedding far too many tears for the families of Islamic State murderers Khaled Sharrouf and Mohamed Elomar, reportedly killed in Iraq:

”My deepest condolences to their family and let’s hope we can give some support to their wives and children,” said Mr Trad, who maintains young Australians are joining terror groups because their “blood is boiling” at domestic persecution.

But at least one of the relatives doesn’t need Trad’s sympathy:

THE grandfather of a young boy pictured in Syria holding up the severed head of an enemy soldier said he was “ecstatic” to hear of the possible death of his terrorist father Khaled Sharrouf.  

Peter Nettleton, whose daughter Tara was wooed by the Islamic State butcher more than a decade ago, said he was overjoyed to learn that the man who ruined his family was likely killed in the brutal civil war.

“It’s a good day isn’t it,” he told The Daily Telegraph this morning.

Nettleton’s reaction is the proper one. Trad’s is the kind that should have him excluded from civilised company, including our universities.

Note: Sharrouf’s wife actually chose to join him in the Islamic State. The Australian Government should feel not the slightest obligation to offer her support.

But let’s hold of partying just yet:

It is believed Elomar’s body has been recovered but Sharrouf’s remains are missing.

I don’t support Isis. I am simply standing up for Australians who deserve better than an Islamophobic government intent on weakening the rule of law.
