Freedom of Speech? Freedom of Expression? No longer on Google or You tube

Cowardice & pandering across the board:

Your government wants you to remain stupid and ignorant about Islam. Big business is infiltrated with Arab money. So is the media, but the media is highly infiltrated by left wing lunatics who are in cohorts with this ‘new’ 7th century ideology. The same artists who brought us ‘piss-Christ’ and smear the virgin Mary with feces (yes they do call that ‘art’ in certain quarters) rather wear diapers and go into hiding when it comes to Islam. Politicians kowtow to the Mohammedan nightmare and whatever law-enforcement we have left is neutered by the useful idiots who deny our own culture for the sake of political correctness and out of fear to be called ‘racist’- as if Islam was a race!

Worrying developments all around. Here’s the latest, with thanks to Dhimmi Watch:

YouTube pulls video, bans user for quoting violent Qur’an verses

*

All the video does is quote from the Qur’an, but apparently that alone was too much; while Gisburne also posted anti-Christian videos, it is reportedly the video concerning Islam that got him banned. “YouTube Censors Islam Critic?” by Jason Lee Miller for WebProNews (links in the original):

At YouTube, You can say pretty much whatever You want, as long as it’s not about Islam. If that’s not true, YouTube user Nick Gisburne begs to differ after his account – his entire account – was deleted for its “inappropriate content.” What exactly did he say? Well, nothing really. He let the Koran speak for itself.

*
Gisburne is a self-described atheist with, at least from the one video, a deep questioning of Muslim claims about the Koran. To express his doubts about Islam being a religion of peace, Gisburne created a 10-minute video, entitled “Islamic Teachings” that was nothing but violent quotations taken from the Koran instructing followers to kill nonbelievers and speed their way to Hell where Allah will torture them forever.
It would seem quoting the holy book in a sort of testament against itself was over the line for someone working at Google-owned YouTube. Not only was the video deleted without any type of warning to the uploader, but the uploader’s account was also deleted with only the explanation (or accusation) of submitting inappropriate content, a category usually reserved for nudity or video violence.
Gisburne can be seen talking about the experience here, in a very monotone way. But the video in question can still be found on YouTube, for as word spreads about the rather obvious free speech infringement, users by the dozens have become defiant, posting it on Gisburne’s behalf.
Over at Xooglers, a blog written by ex-Google employees, Ron Garret says this doesn’t reflect well on Google:
This really bothers me for four reasons. First, to deem quotations from a holy text to be “inappropriate content” is outrageous on its face. Second, Gisburne was given no warning. Third, YouTube didn’t just delete the video in question, they deleted Gisburne’s entire account. And fourth, this makes a mockery of Google’s “don’t be evil” slogan. There can be no possible reason for this action other than caving to intimidation, and sanctimonious cowardice in the face of oppression is a particularly pernicious breed of evil.

* This is censorship, last time I checked free speech was still protected under the constitution.

He advises other angry free speech advocates to contact YouTube to express themselves directly.

It gets worse: Censorship and deliberate pandering to the enemy in nearly all our Universities from the US to England, even in Australia!  Is it just fear  of losing full fee paying ME students or is it intimidation & blackmail or all of it?

Here’s the latest from Daniel Pipes:

Hanieh: Shut up and pay the Jiziyah..!

‘We will not recognize any agreements, we will destroy Israel, we will terrorize you and now we are united, so just shut up and pay the Jiziah…’ sez the thug in chief Ishmail Haniyeh.

And Condi is on the way with bags full of money because its all good, right? Right.

Lets give them a state, they deserve it. They really do!

GAZA (Reuters) – Palestinian Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh appealed on Monday to the United States and other Middle East mediators to restore economic aid to the Palestinian Authority in response to a Hamas- Fatah unity deal.

“The American administration should reconsider its hasty position, which refuses to deal with the will of the Palestinian people,” Haniyeh, a Hamas leader, said in a speech.

“I say to the Quartet and to the European Union that this is the will of the Palestinian people, and they should respect it and they should work to end the status of siege,” he said.

DAMASCUS (AFP) – Tens of thousands of Syrians and Palestinians have demonstrated in Damascus against what they termed “Israeli crimes” in carrying out work near the Al-Aqsa mosque in Jerusalem.

Streaming in groups to Youssef al-Azmeh square in the centre of the Syrian capital Tuesday, students and civil servants rallied to chant their anger at the “aggression against al-Aqsa”, the third most holy site in Islam.

Muslim and Christian religious leaders addressed the crowd with appeals to “defend the holy places” in Jerusalem, which include Temple Mount, sacred to Jews.

* Christians?’ Could it be that they have to be good dhimmies and show their solidarity with the Muhammedans out of fear? Could it be that the chinless ophthalmologist organized the march to deflect away from his incompetence to blame the Jooozzz??

Israel is carrying out repair work to a ramp leading to the mosque compound.

Demonstrators, who burnt Israeli flags, waved pictures of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, shouting allegiance to him while banners proclaimed “We will not bend before Zionist and American plans.”

Syria’s official news agency said “hundreds of thousands of citizens … reaffirmed Syria’s support for the Palestinian people and their just cause until the liberation of their land and the creation of an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.”

Mossad, CIA & the evil Jooozzz hard at work …

From Kashmir to Darfur, from Mindanao to Chechnya, from Afghanistan to Iraq and from Nigeria to Sudan those evil Jooozzz are tarnishing the image of the Religion of Peace.

True story! Now they even started bombing Algeria, (again!)

What you say? There are no Jooozzz in Algeria? Really? What happend to them?

Algeria hit by bombings, six dead: agency

By Larbi Louafi and Zohra Bensemra
SI MUSTAFA, Algeria (Reuters) – Seven bombs went off almost simultaneously in Algeria on Tuesday, killing six people east of the capital Algiers in an elaborate assault by suspected Islamist rebels.

Residents said four of the attacks targeted police stations.

“I was woken by a huge blast. I thought it was an earthquake,” said Aaref Jumaa, a resident of Si Mustafa village close to Boumerdes town 50 km (30 miles) east of Algiers.

Jumaa, standing near the blast-pocked walls of Si Mustafa’s police station, said the bomb went off at 4:15 a.m. (0315 GMT) beside the building, which is directly across the street from his home.

Pools of blood lay in the gutter of the main road.

“From now on I will sleep with fear in my heart,” said a woman clearing debris from her kitchen.

Muslim worshippers stone their own buses
By REBECCA ANNA STOIL

Following the afternoon prayers at the Temple Mount a group of approximately 150 Muslim Israeli men and women threw rocks at the buses that had been sent to take them home.

A crowd chanted, “Allah is great,” while pelting the buses which were waiting near the Rockefeller Museum.

Police forces were accompanying the worshippers and said that no additional incident occurred during or after the prayer service.

Iran & the Mullah’s, Armageddon & the Jews

After 2000 years of wandering the world, the return of the Jews to Israel, their ancestral homeland, fulfills a biblical prophecy and proves Mohamed and the Koran wrong.
With thanks to Andrew Bolt:
Matthais Kuntzel explains why Iran is uniquely dangerous:

Five years ago, in December 2001, former Iranian president Hashemi Rafsanjani first boasted that “the use of even one nuclear bomb inside Israel will destroy everything,” whereas the damage to the Islamic world of a potential retaliatory nuclear attack could be limited: “It is not irrational to contemplate such an eventuality.” While the Islamic world could sacrifice hundreds of thousands of “martyrs” in an Israeli retaliatory strike without disappearing–so goes Rafsanjani’s argument–Israel would be history after the first bomb.

It is precisely this suicidal outlook that distinguishes the Iranian nuclear weapons program from those of all other countries and makes it uniquely dangerous. As long ago as 1980, Khomeini put it this way: “We do not worship Iran, we worship Allah. For patriotism is another name for paganism. I say let this land [Iran] burn. I say let this land go up in smoke, provided Islam emerges triumphant in the rest of the world.”

Anyone inclined to dismiss the significance of such statements might want to consider the proclamation made by Mohammad Hassan Rahimian, representative of the Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, who stands even higher in the Iranian hierarchy than Ahmadinejad. A few months ago, on November 16, 2006, Rahimian explained: “The Jew”–not the Zionist, note, but the Jew–“is the most obstinate enemy of the devout. And the main war will determine the destiny of mankind. . . . The reappearance of the Twelfth Imam will lead to a war between Israel and the Shia.” The country that has been the first to make Holocaust denial a principle of its foreign policy is likewise the first openly to threaten another U.N. member state with, not invasion or annexation, but annihilation.

How the US sent $12bn in cash to Iraq. And watched it vanish

Special flights brought in tonnes of banknotes which disappeared into the war zone

* The Guardian has often discredited itself for being a pro-Islamic forum and is well known as a soapbox for anything from anarchist to the most bizarre read-green fantasies.

But if there is the slightest bit of truth in this story here, then we should be afraid. Afraid of the incompetence and utter folly of our leaders, who are taking us to the abyss rather quickly:

dollarsariveiraq372ready.jpg

The US flew nearly $12bn in shrink-wrapped $100 bills into Iraq, then distributed the cash with no proper control over who was receiving it and how it was being spent.
The staggering scale of the biggest transfer of cash in the history of the Federal Reserve has been graphically laid bare by a US congressional committee.

In the year after the invasion of Iraq in 2003 nearly 281 million notes, weighing 363 tonnes, were sent from New York to Baghdad for disbursement to Iraqi ministries and US contractors. Using C-130 planes, the deliveries took place once or twice a month with the biggest of $2,401,600,000 on June 22 2004, six days before the handover.

Details of the shipments have emerged in a memorandum prepared for the meeting of the House committee on oversight and government reform which is examining Iraqi reconstruction. Its chairman, Henry Waxman, a fierce critic of the war, said the way the cash had been handled was mind-boggling. “The numbers are so large that it doesn’t seem possible that they’re true. Who in their right mind would send 363 tonnes of cash into a war zone?”

The memorandum details the casual manner in which the US-led Coalition Provisional Authority disbursed the money, which came from Iraqi oil sales, surplus funds from the UN oil-for-food programme and seized Iraqi assets.

“One CPA official described an environment awash in $100 bills,” the memorandum says. “One contractor received a $2m payment in a duffel bag stuffed with shrink-wrapped bundles of currency. Auditors discovered that the key to a vault was kept in an unsecured backpack.

“They also found that $774,300 in cash had been stolen from one division’s vault. Cash payments were made from the back of a pickup truck, and cash was stored in unguarded sacks in Iraqi ministry offices. One official was given $6.75m in cash, and was ordered to spend it in one week before the interim Iraqi government took control of Iraqi funds.”

The minutes from a May 2004 CPA meeting reveal “a single disbursement of $500m in security funding labelled merely ‘TBD’, meaning ‘to be determined’.”

The memorandum concludes: “Many of the funds appear to have been lost to corruption and waste … thousands of ‘ghost employees’ were receiving pay cheques from Iraqi ministries under the CPA’s control. Some of the funds could have enriched both criminals and insurgents fighting the United States.”

According to Stuart Bowen, the special inspector general for Iraq reconstruction, the $8.8bn funds to Iraqi ministries were disbursed “without assurance the monies were properly used or accounted for”. But, according to the memorandum, “he now believes that the lack of accountability and transparency extended to the entire $20bn expended by the CPA”.

To oversee the expenditure the CPA was supposed to appoint an independent certified public accounting firm. “Instead the CPA hired an obscure consulting firm called North Star Consultants Inc. The firm was so small that it reportedly operates out of a private home in San Diego.” Mr Bowen found that the company “did not perform a review of internal controls as required by the contract”.

However, evidence before the committee suggests that senior American officials were unconcerned about the situation because the billions were not US taxpayers’ money. Paul Bremer, the head of the CPA, reminded the committee that “the subject of today’s hearing is the CPA’s use and accounting for funds belonging to the Iraqi people held in the so-called Development Fund for Iraq. These are not appropriated American funds. They are Iraqi funds. I believe the CPA discharged its responsibilities to manage these Iraqi funds on behalf of the Iraqi people.”

Bremer’s financial adviser, retired Admiral David Oliver, is even more direct. The memorandum quotes an interview with the BBC World Service. Asked what had happened to the $8.8bn he replied: “I have no idea. I can’t tell you whether or not the money went to the right things or didn’t – nor do I actually think it’s important.”

Q: “But the fact is billions of dollars have disappeared without trace.”

Oliver: “Of their money. Billions of dollars of their money, yeah I understand. I’m saying what difference does it make?”

Mr Bremer, whose disbanding of the Iraqi armed forces and de-Ba’athification programme have been blamed as contributing to the present chaos, told the committee: “I acknowledge that I made mistakes and that with the benefit of hindsight, I would have made some decisions differently. Our top priority was to get the economy moving again. The first step was to get money into the hands of the Iraqi people as quickly as possible.”

Millions of civil service families had not received salaries or pensions for months and there was no effective banking system. “It was not a perfect solution,” he said. “Delay might well have exacerbated the nascent insurgency and thereby increased the danger to Americans.”

Terror Attack at US Base in Japan
Blast reported near U.S. base in Japan.

TOKYO – A U.S. Army official confirmed a small explosion outside an American base south of Tokyo, but there were no reports of injuries or damage. An explosion was heard near the base late Monday, and police suspected an attempted attack on the base, Kyodo News agency reported.

The blast was in the area of the U.S. Army’s Camp Zama, Kyodo said. The report did not say whether there were injuries or damage.

Police found parts of “launch pad” near the base, Kyodo said, and investigators suspected a “guerrilla attack.”

Egyptian MP: Nothing short of nuke will ‘work’ with Israel

satellite.jpg
A member of the Egyptian Parliament from President Hosni Mubarak’s ruling party said Monday that nothing short of a nuclear bomb would ‘work’ with Israel.

“That cursed Israel is trying to destroy al-Aksa mosque,” Mohamed el-Katatny of Mubarak’s National Democratic Party (NDP) told the Egyptian Parliament, adding “nothing will work with Israel except for a nuclear bomb that wipes it out of existence.”

The harsh statement was uttered during a heated discussion of Israel’s renovation of the Mughrabi walkway near the Temple Mount. Egyptian parliamentarians claimed that Israel was destroying the Al Aksa mosque.

During the session some parliament members urged a cancellation of all agreements with Israel saying the war between Egypt and Israel was continuing even though treaties were signed.

Israel and Egypt ended 30 years of war with an historic peace treaty in 1979 brokered by the United States between then Egyptian President Anwar al-Sadat and Prime Minister Menachem Begin.

* The US still gives Egypt about $2 billion a year in foreign aid.
