We are all too familiar with the persecution of Christians in countries such as Pakistan and Afghanistan. Yet sitting in front of me is a British woman whose life has been threatened in this country solely because she is a Christian. Indeed, so real is the threat that the book she has written about her experiences has had to appear under an assumed name.The book is called The Imam’s Daughter because “Hannah Shah” is just that: the daughter of an imam in one of the tight-knit Deobandi Muslim Pakistani communities in the north of England. Her father emigrated to this country from rural Pakistan some time in the 1960s and is, apparently, a highly respected local figure.

He is also an incestuous child abuser, repeatedly raping his daughter from the age of five until she was 15, ostensibly as part of her punishment for being “disobedient”. At the age of 16 she fled her family to avoid the forced marriage they had planned for her in Pakistan. A much, much greater affront to “honour” in her family’s eyes, however, was the fact that she then became a Christian – an apostate. The Koran is explicit that apostasy is punishable by death; thus it was that her father the imam led a 40-strong gang – in the middle of a British city – to find and kill her.

Hannah Shah says her story is not unique – that there are many other girls in British Muslim families who are oppressed and married off against their will, or who have secretly become Christians but are too afraid to speak out. She wants their voices to be heard and for Britain, the land of her birth, to realise the hidden misery of these women….

GROZNY, Russia: The bullnecked president of Chechnya emerged from afternoon prayers at the mosque and with chilling composure explained why seven young women who had been shot in the head deserved to die. Ramzan Kadyrov said the women, whose bodies were found dumped by the roadside, had “loose morals” and were rightfully shot by male relatives in honor killings. 

“If a woman runs around and if a man runs around with her, both of them are killed,” Kadyrov told journalists in the capital of this Russian republic.

Self appointed spokesmen for the ummah are dumping steaming piles of taqiyya  (lies & obfuscation) on curious infidels, because they feel it is their religious duty to “protect and defend Islam” from scrutiny.

You knew it would only be a matter of time before the CAIR-types would try to spin this tragedy to their own advantage. These vultures never miss a chance to confuse the issue and try to preempt any honest debate about honor killings, mass Muslim immigration, and “stealth jihad”. Of course, the media and the cultural relativists will use their influence to make this story disappear down memory hole. Aasiya Hassan  didn’t give her life – it was taken away from her by her head-chopping, murderous hubby. Worst of all,  this woman contributed to her own death by continuing to whitewash Islam. 

“She has given her life to protect the image of American Muslims” says Faizan Haq, Muzzamil Hassan’s friend.

Great, she “protected the image of American Muslims”- Whatever. But Aasiya hasn’t given us infidels anything. In reality, she was more of a perp than a victim while she was alive. She was complicit in the jihad and in the spread of Islam.

Good riddance.

But Kamran does it on the double: Kamran Pasha combines the Hollywood touch  with Puff Ho journalism, and that means a combined effort to paint a pussy on your cheek that’s as big as a house. The American Muslim community is reeling this week from news of the horrific beheading of Aasiya Hassan, allegedly by her husband Muzzammil Hassan. They were respected members of the community and co-founded BridgesTV, a television network ironically dedicated to fighting negative stereotypes of Muslims. As one of the first Muslims to succeed as a writer in Hollywood, I have been interviewed several times on BridgesTV and was delighted by the professionalism and media savvy of its staff. I had never met the Hassans, but I had been proud of their accomplishments. They were bringing an Islam of love, compassion and human brotherhood to the world, while countering the horrific images of violence and misogyny that had tainted how my fellow Americans saw my faith. The Hassans were people I admired — educated professionals and patriotic Americans with a commitment to family and community.

And then I heard how Aasiya Hassan died and I wanted to throw up. (When I read Kamran’s BS I needed to puke also, Kamran. For different reasons…/ed)

A manual of Islamic law certified by Al-Azhar as a reliable guide to Sunni orthodoxy says that “retaliation is obligatory against anyone who kills a human being purely intentionally and without right.” However, “not subject to retaliation” is “a father or mother (or their fathers or mothers) for killing their offspring, or offspring’s offspring.” (‘Umdat al-Salik o1.1-2).

In other words, someone who kills his child incurs no legal penalty under Islamic law.
