Female genital mutilation (Ireland)

Female genital mutilation occurring in Ireland

“FGM is not just in Africa. FGM is not just in Egypt. FGM is here.”

There are a number of different types of FGM, and the methods used and reasons for it vary from region to region. It is usually performed between the ages of five and 12 by the child’s female relatives, but sometimes takes place just before a woman marries or gives birth for the first time.

FGM is usually performed without the use of anaesthetic or hygienic surgical tools. Instruments known to be used include sharp rocks, razor blades, kitchen knives, broken glass, or even the use of the circumcisers’ teeth, according to the WHC.  (Irish Health)

Oh the irony: Shiite cleric in Ireland worries about Wahabites

Unfortunately, the good imam does not tell us  why Shia islam would be preferable to us infidels. Is he reading a different Koran? Or is it just another case of “my Allah is better than yours?”

EXTREMIST Wahhbais influenced by al-Qaeda are taking a hold in Ireland and some of these young adults are becoming influential in the country’s universities, the Muslim religious leader of a Dublin mosque has warned.

Imam Ali Al-Saleh, who runs the Shia mosque in Dublin’s Milltown, said fundamentalist Wahhabis who sympathise with al-Qaeda were living in Ireland and and that the recent arrest of a group of Wahhabis in Waterford and Limerick was proof of this.

“I think there is a problem with extremists in Ireland. Ireland is being used as a safe haven. We were not surprised over the arrests in relation to the plot in Sweden,” Dr Al-Saleh told the Sunday Tribune.

In other news from the RoP:

“Many extremist Wahhabis came to Ireland as asylum seekers. They are raising their children as extremists and these children have now grown into adults. There is now a problem in Ireland with extremists getting involved in university student societies. This is of concern.

These youths can be easily brainwashed. There are so many websites dedicated to extremism and so many speeches being made that influence these young people. It is a very hot atmosphere. We are warning people not to get involved.”

A bit of BS and a bit of taqiyya:

Islam is now the second biggest faith in Ireland after Christianity with approximately 32,000 Muslims living here. Imam Ali Al-Selim, chairman of the Irish Council of Imams and head of the Sunni mosque in Dublin’s Clonskeagh, said he did not believe there was a problem with extremists Wahhabis in Ireland.

“We are an integrated part of Irish society here. Nothing has happened to show us there are radical Wahhabis who call themselves as Muslim in Ireland. We as Muslims condemn all violence whether it’s against Muslims or non-Muslims,” he said.

Sure. That’s why Iran calls for ‘wiping Israel of the map’ on a daily basis and manufactures nukes to prove it….. the peace of Islam is the peace of the grave.

WTF is wrong with Ireland?

Express UK/thanks to RoP

BANNED Muslim hate preacher Anjem Choudary has sparked outrage after he was flown to Ireland to spout his bigoted views to 250 university students.

Choudary’s Islam4UK group and its parent organisation al-Muhajiroun were banned last month by Home Secretary Alan Johnson under legislation to outlaw the glorification of terrorism.
However, the student law society of University College Dublin paid for him to fly over to be a guest speaker at a debate with the motion that women’s rights should trump religious doctrine. The society also paid for his hotel.

Discrimination in Ireland!

A muslim is taking a landmark High Court case demanding that the Irish state recognise his polygamous marriage.

Mark Tighe/Times Online

The man is from Lebanon, where polygamy is permitted. He is married to two women and has been granted Irish citizenship.

Muslim asks court to let in second wife

Seven years ago the Department of Justice refused to grant the man’s first wife a visa. The Lebanese entered Ireland with his second wife and claimed asylum. His first wife did not arrive until much later. The man has children with both women.

Last time I checked Lebanon was not at war. What entitled this guy to claim asylum? Asylum from what?

Blasphemy Laws in Ireland?

As of January 1st, Ireland has enacted a law  from the dark ages that makes “blasphemy” punishable by a fine of up to $ 35,000.

George Bernard Shaw said “All great truths begin as blasphemies.” Add to that what Siddhartha Gautama—also known as the Buddha, or Enlightened One—said; “Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it—even if I have said it—unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.”

New rules which forbid causing ‘outrage’ among religious people have baffled Ireland. We were getting along just fine without them..

writes Padraig Reidy in the Guardian (for Muslims)

Indeed. This law is silly and dangerous and provides an incentive for religious outrage. Just what the Muselmaniacs want and need.

Mark Steyn: Is Freedom of speech  “an American concept?”

Who asked for Ireland’s blasphemy law?

Well, here’s how it came about:

In February 2006, Irish President Mary McAleese visited Saudi Arabia and condemned the publication of the Danish Mohammed cartoons, saying, “Muslims have every right to feel angry.” “It was designed to provoke, to be rude, to inflame,” she told reporters just a couple of hours before calling on Saudi Arabia’s King Abdullah.

Mary McAleese: dimwitted tool or hypnotized by Arab daggers & dishdashas?

From CNN:

Now an  Irish atheist group has published a series of quotations on religion in an attempt to challenge a blasphemy law that went into effect on New Year’s Day:

The 25 “blasphemous” quotations include the words of Jesus, Mohammed, Mark Twain, Salman Rushdie and Bjork.

Atheist Ireland published the list on its Web site Friday. It says it aims to challenge the law, which makes blasphemy a crime punishable by a & euro 25,000-($35,800) fine.

“Despite these quotes being abusive and insulting in relation to matters held sacred by various religions, we unreservedly support the right of these people to have published or uttered them,” the group said on the site.

The Goracle is also eager to please his Arab paymasters:

Gore laments US ‘abuses’ against Arabs

Yep. The Goracle is a devoted Arab cocksucker, just like Willie Clitman & Obowma. But hey: lets blame Bush!
