DEAR PRESIDENT OBAMA: YOU SCARE ME.

The following  letter was written by Lou Pritchett, author of “Stop Paddling and Start Rocking the Boat.”  He is also a well-known speaker, savvy businessman, and the foremost leader in “change management.”   Several websites have claimed that Pritchett’s letter first saw the light of day when it was published in the New York Times.  I checked the Times archives and could find no record of it.  However, the letter IS out there and speaks for many of us at a very difficult time in the history of the United States.

Dear President Obama,

You are the thirteenth President under whom I have lived and unlike any of the others, you truly scare me.

-  You scare me because after months of exposure, I know nothing about you.

-  You scare me because I do not know how you paid for your expensive Ivy League education and your upscale lifestyle and housing with no visible signs of support.

-  You scare me because you did not spend the formative years of youth growing up in America and culturally you are not an American.

-  You scare me because you have never run a company or met a payroll.

More O-control of monumental proportion. Not only does this communist (Obama) want to be able to turn off the internet in America at his discretion, now he wants to be able to stop cell phone communication at his discretion.

The prison thing is laughable. Prisoners cannot have cell phones. And should one get past prison security? Hardly reason enough to give Obama’s thug force the power to shut down cell phone communciation. Talk about exception making bad law. He thinks we are frighteningly stupid.

You have to ask yourself, what is this dictatorial wannbee planning?

No, the President had to add insult to injury by lying about the nature of the creditors victimized by his treachery. Calling them names and slandaring them while ripping them off, Obama has revealed himself as a shamless demogogue, willing to thwart the rule of law to gain power for himself and to reward corrupt contributors.

Well, I think this argument over a two-state solution is a complete red herring.

There is no Israeli government, including Netanyahu’s government, that would not accept a settlement in which a real Palestinian state genuinely accepted a settlement that ends the war with Israel and recognizes a Jewish state.

The problem is such a partner doesn’t exist and hasn’t existed ever. For the last nine years, you’ve had in Israel under Sharon and Olmert governments which accepted a two-state solution, have engaged in negotiations, and have essentially offered what Israel offered nine years ago under Ehud Barack, who’s now the defense minister, with Bill Clinton assisting in that offer of a Palestinian state and a settlement in perpetuity with Israel.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is scheduled to visit the White House later this month for the first time since he took office March 31. Netanyahu has not endorsed the creation of a Palestinian state, though that has been a cornerstone of Western policy in the region. As a result, there have been predictions of clashes between the governments of Obama and Netanyahu.
 
Morton Klein, president of the Zionist Organization of America, admits he is worried about how Obama will deal with the Jewish state.
 
“This could turn out to be the most hostile administration to Israel we have ever seen,” Klein laments. “Remember, this isn’t good for America. A weak Israel is not able fight Islamic terrorism as a strong Israel can — and Israel is America’s only reliable ally in the Middle East.”

    But Omeish, who is running for the Democratic nomination in the 35th district, covering an area from Vienna west to Monument and Leehigh, is no ordinary candidate. He’s a surgeon with a classic immigrant success story, having arrived in this country as a young boy who spoke no English, yet rose up through the Fairfax school system to attend Georgetown University.
