Terror: Dame Stella Rimington said the response to 9/11 was a ‘huge overreaction’

Former chief of MI5, Stella Rimington has claimed that the response to the September 11 2001 attacks was a “huge overreaction” and described the events as just “another terrorist incident”.

She said the attacks by al-Qaeda were “qualitatively different from any others” and criticised Home Secretary Jacqui Smith for making national security a partisan issue.

In a wide-ranging interview, Rimington, who was the first-ever female, publicly named head of MI5 and retired 12 years ago, also said the war on terror in Iraq had influenced young British men to turn to terrorism.

Chicago-area Muslim student fabricates anti-Muslim “hate crime”

Another spurious attempt to claim victim status that is gaining wide publicity — despite the fact that it is completely fabricated.

“Cops: Student made up campus attack,” by Russell Working for the Chicago Tribune via ChicagoBreakingNews, October 17 (thanks to JW):

A Muslim student who said a masked gunman assaulted her after he wrote anti-Muslim slurs in a women’s restroom at Elmhurst College arrested for filing a false police report, officials said today.

* Most interesting is this pathetic article from Puff Ho, written by a Muzz by the name of Naazis YarKhan, who really spins it into a ficticious tale of blood & guts…

… and as usual, Amnesia Intentional, a Muslim propaganda outfit, springs into action:

* First, they couldn’t find anything. Then they found a can of pepper spray down the road from the mosque 4 or 5 days after the incident. Now the pepper spray was found inside the mosque:

So secretive that they visit Muslim homes dressed in long robes and skullcaps that would make them stick out a mile away even on the main street of Auburn, the suburb having the highest concentration of Muslims of any suburb in Australia. So secretive that their annual gathering in Bangladesh attracts some 2-3 million people from across the world.Apparently the “shoebomber” Richard Reid and the London bombers attended TJ gatherings. So have millions in Bangladesh, Pakistan, India and other parts of the world
