JEDDAH: An international conference organized by the Muslim World League has called for a strategic plan to introduce Islam as a solution to major problems facing humanity and as a religion that promotes peace, freedom and tolerance.The three-day conference, titled “Introducing Islam to non-Islamic countries: Reality and aspirations,” stressed that non-Muslims living in Islamic countries should enjoy all of the rights enjoyed by Muslims.

Really? All of them? In this they run counter to the provisions of traditional Islamic law regarding the subjugated status of the dhimmis, as mandated by the Qur’anic injunction that they pay the jizya (poll tax) “with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued” (9:29).

Singing for the TV cameras: Islamic school students sing 'banned' national anthem

*  Whether the anthem is sung or not, that doesn’t matter.  It’s the express banning of it for being un-islamic.  The culture, ideals, traditions, symbols and laws of this (or any other) country are meaningless to believing muslims.  They ALL must be replaced by islamic ones in accordance with sharia and Allah’s decree.

What on earth are these people doing in our country?

Tjibbe Joustra blames Wilders for terror threat in the Netherlands

The increase is mainly blamed on the after effects of right-wing politician and Freedom Party leader Geert Wilder’s anti-Islam film Fitna.

The threat level is officially ‘substantial’, but Mr Joustra says it’s actually “Just a tad more than substantial”.”When compared to the substantial threat level of three years ago [when Samir Azzouz was arrested for planning terror attacks, ed.], the underlying issues are much more solid”.

Mr Joustra refused to elaborate on the exact nature of the threat, but de Volkskrant writes that Arab-language jihad sites are encouraging attacks on the Netherlands because of the Wilders film.

In one jihadist pamphlet, Muslims are urged “to slaughter this apostate”.

Gregorius Nekschot Will Visit Denmark

Nekschot solidaritySteen is reporting that the Dutch cartoonist Gregorius Nekschot will be the guest of honor at a Trykkefrihedsselskabet (the Free Press Society) meeting in Denmark next year.

As you may recall, Mr. Nekschot was arrested earlier this year for the “racist” content of his anti-immigrant political cartoons. If he can stay out of prison until his appointment in Copenhagen, he’ll have a chance to speak his mind in a country which still recognizes the right of free speech.

Egyptian cleric calls Obama to convert to Islam

Here’s  Egyptian cleric Hassan Abu Al-Ashbal  telling Obama, “aslim taslam” (أسلم تسلم‎) — “Embrace Islam and you will be safe.” This phrase is derived from Muhammad’s words:

Allah ‘s Apostle said, ” I have been ordered to fight with the people till they say, ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah,’ and whoever says, ‘None has the right to be worshipped but Allah,’ his life and property will be saved by me except for Islamic law, and his accounts will be with Allah, (either to punish him or to forgive him.)”

Note the clear implication that if the one to whom this call is issued does not become a Muslim, his life and property willnot be safe.

There is also the question of what is to become of the person who declines the invitation to become a Muslim. Muhammad said this also:

When you meet your enemies who are polytheists, invite them to three courses of action. If they respond to any one of these, you also accept it and withold yourself from doing them any harm. Invite them to (accept) Islam; if they respond to you, accept it from them and desist from fighting against them. […]If they refuse to accept Islam, demand from them the Jizya. If they agree to pay, accept it from them and hold off your hands. If they refuse to pay the tax, seek Allah’s help and fight them.

For the Islamists, as for the Nazis, the destruction of the Jews — and since 1948, the Jewish state — is central to their worldview.

If anyone has a better explanation for why Pakistani terrorists, preoccupied with destabilizing India, would expend so much effort at finding the one Jewish center in a country that is essentially devoid of Jews, I would like to hear it.

With all the Pakistani Islamists hatred of Hindus, they did not attack one Hindu temple in Indias major city.

I remember the outrage of Leftist critics when I first suggested some of the Left would soon by relativising or rationalising or moral equivalising the Mumbai massacres. Since then of course, we’ve seen case after caseafter case after case after case after case after case after case after case after case after case after case after caseof just that.

But this effort from the New York Times on the last day of the seige is, surely, among the most stupid attempts to be blind to what occurred:

It is not known if the Jewish center was strategically chosen, or if it was an accidental hostage scene.

ANOTHER boat carrying suspected asylum-seekers has made it to Australian waters… The boat is the fifth to make it to Australian waters in recent months.

This is fast becoming a trend, not a coincidence.

*We said it here before: people who pass through 2 or 3 friendly countries and tear up their papers before arriving in Australia are not refugees, they are not asylum seekers and they’re not migrants: they are invaders.

The responsibility of the government is to intern them and to repatriate them at the first opportunity. What will the KRudd government do to keep Australia safe?

Italy: Moroccan "Peace Activist" Arrested in Plot to Blow Up Milan Cathedral

Italy: Plot to blow up Milan Cathedral

Ilhami is not the first ‘peace activist’ to plan terror attacks.

Two Moroccans arrested in Italy yesterday wanted to blow up the Milan Cathedral on Christmas.  They hoped an attack during the busy holiday would cost dozens of lives.  This according to tapped phone calls, reports La Repubblica.

The two belonged to an Islamic terror cell which had been followed by the Italian police already for months.  “The plot was discovered yet before the suspects could get explosives,” says the Italian minister of Internal Affairs, Roberto Maroni, in response.

Rachid Ilhami (31) and Abdelkader Ghafir (43) were arrested in Giussano, a city 25km away from Milan.  The detectives gathered from tapped phone calls and confiscated computer files that the two also prepared attacks on a supermarket and a police bureau.  They are arrested on suspicion of terrorism and eventual cooperation with al-Qaeda.

Ilhami had been living since he was ten in Italy.  He is married and has two children.  He worked as a blacksmith and in his free time worked in a center for peace activities, in the area of prime minister Silvio Berlusconi’s villa, according to Corriere della Sera.
