For the last few days young Muslim immigrants in the RosengÃ¥rd district of MalmÃ¶ have been rioting. The trouble started over the closure of a storefront mosque, and escalated to the point where RosengÃ¥rd resembles the banlieues of Paris, with burning cars, rock-throwing “youths”, Molotov cocktails, and violent battles with police.Â

The interesting thing about the Swedish Intifada is that international anarchists and “anti-fascists” are acting as an accelerant in the conflagration, with explicit connections to the rioting that has broken out all over Europe in solidarity with the Greek anarchists.

Also worth noting is the assertion of Waqf jurisdiction: since the premises in MalmÃ¶ had been used as a mosque, they had thereby become sacred and are thus the property of Islam in perpetuity.

Sada Cucumber Vows to Boostâ€¨Ties with Islamic Countries

The Muslim World Congress (slogan: “Good for Muslims, Good for the World”) Â approves of Sada Cumber. See, Bush and Condollleeeezzza can be trusted to make the right decisions, right? Right???

Only Muslims are innocent and those who resist the Islamization of the West must be killed, forcibly converted or defeated so they will pay the jiziyah ‘with willing submission while feeling humiliated and subdued’/ed)

*Â A little more on Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu, the Turkish “historian of Islamic science” whose outward appearance is so deceptively modern and secular and sweet-reasonable, and then one realizes that that is merely camouflage and that his mental baggage, while not quite as primitive as that of the qaradawis and tantawis, is from the same product line manufactured by Islamic Tourister:

* Perhaps Ihsanoglu should ask the OIC to remove the 164 jihad verses from the Koran, for starters, things like “8:12 Strike terror in the hearts of the unbelievers”…

Of course, he is exercised about “attempts to equate Islam with terrorism” by non-Muslims, who make this equation simply by reporting accurately on the terrorists’ own stated justifications for their actions. He is not talking about the terrorists’ own “attempts to equate Islam with terrorism.” Those don’t bother him.

CALGARY – A Calgary-based company is suing the country’s largest mosque, seeking almost $4 million in bills it claims were never paid related to the mosque’s construction.

EllisDon Construction Services filed the statement of claim this month in a bid to recover $3.9 million the company claims it is owed, and another $1 million in “damages for interference with contractual and economic relations.”

EllisDon says it signed an agreement in June 2006 to build the 45,000-square-foot Ahmadiyya Muslim Mosque, completed in late August this year.

The mosque was officially opened in July with a gala reception attended by an estimated 5,000 people, including Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

Naseer Ahmad, an agent of Ahmadiyya, is named as a defendant. The lawsuit claims he interfered with EllisDon’s contractual and economic interests with an intent to damage its reputation.

If the sum isn’t paid, says the claim, a builders’ lien must be placed on the mosque and property and it should be sold to pay off EllisDon.

No statement of defence has been filed and none of the allegations have been proven in court.
