We know that Assistant US attorneys are not going forward with prosecutions because it is “politically problematic.” And now agents and attorneys aware of this decision believe it obligates them to violate US law by forcing them to work with a front group for a designated terrorist group (Hamas). The EU apparently feels that it is no longer necessary to hold Hamas to the 3 preconditions that have been used as the litmus test for deciding on whether to open dialog with the terrorist group Hamas.

With millions of Americans struggling to make ends meet, President Barack Obama is giving $300 million in “aid” to Gaza.

The aid is part of a larger $900 million that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton promised to the Pali Arabs when she jetted through the Mid East recently.

Much of the money is said to be going directly to the “Palestinian Authority”, which controls the West Bank; however, at least $300 million will go directly to Hamas-controlled Gaza. 

Hamas has been classified as a terrorist organization by the United States government.

According to al-Jazeera, the American was not killed in a botched attempt to kidnap and hold him ransom, as previously indicated, but because he was engaged in the unforgivable act of trying to convert Muslims to Christianity. “Al-Qaida claims killing of U. NEW legislation has failed to stop forced marriages taking place, according to an Enfield support group.

Ila Bel, from Enfield Saheli, in Fore Street, Edmonton, said her charity was seeing an increasing number of women who were “really messed up” after being forced to marry under Sharia law.

In September, the Forced Marriage (Civil Protection) Act came into effect making forced marriages unlawful, following a campaign by MP Ann Cryer.

At a conference in Westminster organised by Enfield’s South Asian Forum, Mrs Cryer said she had been prompted to take action to prevent forced marriages when she realised fathers were asking her for help with visas for new husbands to be brought to Britain, against the will of their daughters…

The chief of police blames the victim and doesn’t show much interest to pursue the case.  The parents of the killer, one of the richest families of Turkey, deny any knowledge, but  papa Garipoglu has now been arrested . His son, Cem Garipoglu, the alleged killer, is on the run and wanted by interpol.

 Cem Garipoglu  comes from one of the richest families in Turkey and spent most of his life in expensive Swiss boarding schools. Cem is accused of having raped and murdered 18-year-old Münevver .  The head of the murdered young women was found in his guitar case, the fragmented body in a garbage container. He apparently cut up her remains  with a hacksaw. The body showed traces of torture.

A 17 year old girl has most likely been killed by the son of one of Turkey’s richest families. The authorities are remarkably reticent in their news releases.

SUSPECT COMES FROM GOOD FAMILY

Munever and Cem were 17 when they got to know each other at Starbucks in the upscale Istanbul suburb of Bebek. Munever was pretty and popular in her class, she was preparing for her entrance exams to study international relations. He was the son of rich parents and widely traveled, perhaps it is better to say widely passed around. Since the age of 12 he lived in boarding schools all over the world. Perhaps he was not a good student, but he spoke Spanish, French, Italian, Greek and Chinese. For her it seemed to be the love of her life.

On the 3rd of March this year Cem Garipoglu wanted to organize a birthday party for his girlfriend. Shortly before noon he brought her to his home. On the evening before they had both chatted over the internet. He had promised her a ” big surprise” . As surveillance cameras later show, he left the house again at 2p.m. Police assume it was to buy a saw.

BODY IN GARBAGE BIN

Munever Karabalut would not live to see her 18th birthday. Her chopped up body was found in a garbage bin. Her head was found in a guitar case. Cem’s guitar case. Before her murder she had been abused. Though she had been a virgin until death, traces of sperm were found in her underwear.

When the police arrived at Cem’s parents home a few hours later, the house, from attic to basement, had been freshly scrubbed. Despite that the police found traces of Munever’s blood. They found Cem’s blood soaked garments and under his bed a bloody saw with traces of hair. No trace of Cem. The parents claimed they knew nothing and although police discovered traces of blood on their clothes, the court dismissed the case.

Cem Garipoglu has disappeared without a trace. The Garipoglu family is one of the richest in Turkey. Cem’s father Mehmet Nida Goripoglu is the owner of “Burgas Raki” distilleries which is why the case is making such waves. Shortly after the murder young Turks joined facebook to commemorate Munever. The site has 88,000 supporters.

PROTESTS WERE SUCCESSFUL

Apart from the action on Facebook, there were demonstrations against the judiciary for their lack of action. It is believed the deliberate murderer Cem Garipoglu has (with the help of his family)  fled the country. This has reinforced the belief in the country that if you are rich, you can get away with anything.

The protests are having some effect. Cem’s father, whom the judges had at first set free is now under arrest. There is also the matter of the chief of police in Istanbul, Celletin Cerrah. When questioned about the lack of results after two months of investigation, he retorted: “Why did you not look after your daughter better?”. Would you allow your daughter to stay till late at night at a friends house? He did not do himself any favours with this “her fault”. Immediately the case of Munever was not only a cause for critics of the Turkish class system, now the authorities had the various womens groups at their throat. The parliament’s human rights commission has given the chief of police his walking papers. Since last week he has a new job, chief of police in a distant rural district.

Sharia Finance Helps To Finance Islamic Terrorism

Shariah-compliant banking, sometimes called Islamic banking, is growing in popularity in the Western and Islamic worlds. But critics say American interest in the system at a time of economic crisis is opening the door to increased Islamic influence in the American banking system. Worse yet, some fear the banks may be helping to finance international terrorism.

Allowing Shariah-compliant finance in the U.S. is green-lighting a seditious system that supports jihad, said Frank Gaffney, founder and president of the Center for Security Policy in Washington, D.C.

A Win for the Good Guys and a setback for sharia-compliant finance in America.

AIG sponsors, pays for, and aggressively markets sharia-compliant insurance products. The practice of sharia finance has created lucrative advisory positions for often radical imams, who get paid to guarantee the religious “purity” of sharia-compliant products. Such vehicles typically follow the Muslim principle of zakat and donate a slice of their profits to charity. Unfortunately, many of the charities receiving these funds have links to terrorism. Mr. Murray objects to his funds’ being used to legitimate and promote sharia law, when that is the same law that calls for jihad. For that matter, sharia allows Saudis, Iranians, Sudanese, Somalis, Afghans, Taliban members, and other adherents to justify the following: the execution of apostates who decide to abandon the faith; the criminalizing of “Islamophobic blasphemy”; the punishment of petty crimes with amputations, floggings and stonings; and the repression of “non-believers” from practicing their respective religions freely and openly.

AIG — read the federal government — now is in the business of selecting which sharia-adherent “authorities” shall be enlisted to determine whether or not a given product is sharia-compliant. In early maneuvering on Murray v. Geitner et al., the government moved to dismiss the case on two grounds. First, its lawyers argued that Mr. Murray did not have standing to bring this lawsuit. Groups of Muslim women dressed in the restrictive robes refused to comment on their personal reasons for wearing the garment which continues to cause controversy.

An Afghan asylum seeker in Glasgow who fought against Nato-led forces in his homeland has lost his appeal against deportation from the UK.

Dawalat Khan Nasir, 34, was a former commander with the banned Islamist group Herzb-e-Islami Gulbuddin (Hig).

He entered the UK illegally in 2006 and claimed asylum on the grounds he was at risk of persecution in Afghanistan.

Judges at the Court of Session said his past meant he could not be shielded by human rights legislation.

The court heard that Nasir took part in attacks against the Nato-led mission in Afghanistan.

India said it will reject any new treaty to limit global warming that makes the country reduce greenhouse-gas emissions because that will undermine its energy consumption, transportation and food security.

“India will not accept any emission-reduction target – period,” [Environment Minister Jairam] Ramesh said. “This is a non-negotiable stand.” 

Look on the bright side, envirodinks. Think of all the emissions saved by not going to Copenhagen.

Amazingly enough, global warming is blamed even though it’s cooled over the past eight of those 20 years:

The ABC’s Emma Alberici yesterday tried to smear Senator Steve Fielding as the dupe of corrupt scientists, paid by Big Oil to deny global warming.

ALBERICI: Bob Ward (above) – a policy director at the London School of Economics – first wrote to ExxonMobil in 2006. He was concerned about the financial support the company provided to climate change deniers…

WARD: They have stopped funding for a number of the groups that have been denying climate change but they haven’t stopped funding them all. Yet they have been telling people that they have stopped all that funding. So I think they should either own up that they are continuing funding for some of these groups or they should keep their promise.

ALBERICI: How many groups and what are the kinds of figures we are talking about as far as sums of money?

WARD: Several hundred thousand dollars a year… These organisations are not informing public debate on climate change, they are trying to mislead people…

Already a couple of things scream out from this report. First, if Fielding’s facts are wrong, then why not simply show why, rather than smear? But if they are right, then what does it matter if Big Oil helped to fund some of the groups publicising the science? All I see here are red herrings.

Second, why does Alberici – who is better than this – stoop to use the term “denier”, which is not only false but a deliberate and disgraceful attempt to align sceptical scientists and politicians with Holocaust deniers?

But here is the most astonishing thing about Alberici’s report. Not only is the money ExxonMobil gives an insigificant fraction of the billions handed out to global warming scientists and spruikers, but it’s also a fraction of the money that Ward’s own Grantham Research Institute on Climate Change at the LSE got from a global warming evangelist to preach the doomsday gospel:

Jeremy Grantham has given British universities £24m in a bid to save the planet… The British financier, who founded the Boston-based investment fund GMO, which has £55 billion under its management, gave the money to the London School of Economics (LSE) to fund an institute for researching the economics of climate change. A similar amount went to Imperial College London to study climate science.

Altogether, the £24m is one of the largest donations ever made to climate research… So why did Yorkshire-born Grantham do it?

“Because climate change is turning into the biggest problem humanity has ever faced. I wanted to invest my money in places where it might actually help tackle that problem,” said the financier last week…

Which makes Ward a monumental hypocrite.He complains that a few hundred thousand dollars from Big Oil corrupts debate, but says nothing about the more than $20 million his own university gets from Big Warming.

Why did Alberici not mention this?

So here’s the deal for the ABC. Debate the science, but if you must claim that the funding corrupts, at least admit which side gets the most of it.

“At least 10 gunmen using army weapons ambushed the group, killing two soldiers. Then they beheaded them and took away their guns and bullet-proof jackets,” the officer told reporters.

The rebels have never revealed themselves publicly or claimed responsibility for the violence, which has remained limited to the rubber-producing region abutting the Malaysian border.
